|12.3km from city centerIt’s 5 kms away from kashele, a small village. Make sure you have your own vehicle. Villas are built nicely and gives a homely feel. Distance from reception to villas is relatively far based on which ones you get. The smaller the room number the father it may be. Ask for villas between 906-911. They have the hill view and you will see sun rise from the upper floor bedroom. Room maintenance is an issue. We had to ask for a room change since the earlier allotment was not up to the mark. The property looks good oveall and has a great feeling when you are walking around the area but you will find that maintenance of surrounding areas as well can be improved. Food is average. Service can be improved. Did not find attendants actively available at pool, recreation rooms or even restaurants. No in room phones. One has to dial the numbers provided using our personal phones. Overall above average experience. One thing to note is this property has frequently power cuts though it immediately switches over to the inverter but any electronic appliances in use like tv will restart every time. Yesterday we had more than 12-13 switch overs and tv restarted every time. This is due to the power supply from the main grid. Try ssg snacks and nisarg dhaba nearby for food. These two are part of nisarg and will home deliver to your villas. Get the phone no from the reception. Caution: not all villas are maintained well. Check the villas before accepting the keys. Ask them to show 2-3 villas in different locations and then choose.

|31.11km from city centerWe had a good experience staying in sinduja resort. Its a nice quite place with a good plantation around the open space. The beach proximity is also very close. Swimming pool is well maintained. The best part about the hotel is the in house restaurant with serves excellent sea food. We had surmai, pomfret, prawns and even crab for take away. The service was nice and the owner encourages mostly families. Overall if you want to have a good experience with reasonable budget, i would certainly recommend this hotel.

This place has such a wonderful staff that it astonishes me. The activities they have for the weekdays and weekends are wonderful. As far as the food is concerned, it is delicious. There is a lot of effort put into ensuring that all the traditions are observed. Beautiful environment just feels like a perfect family place. I am eagerly waiting to visit again. Lovely DJ with housie and lots of games for Children and Adult. I love Matheran because of Horseland Resort. My special thanks to Praveen, Mahesh, Omkar and all the staff of Horseland.

Staff is very lazy. Parkin place is inside hotel premises but no parking attendent to control it.

|49.73km from city centerIt's a pet friendly resort. The management makes it clear right at the beginning the spa is not available which is good. Extra 1000 rs charged for the pet. The rooms are very spacious with a hall and bedroom clean and well kept. This is the only part that made the trip enjoyable. The food service was ok had to wait for 1 hour for food to be delivered in spite of repeated follow ups. Morning breakfast and tea is not available till 9.30 am which is a huge turn off. The water in the geyser is tepid not even warm and in spite of putting it on for an hour the warm water was not available. There is no intercom facility mobile number of the hotel manager is shared who may not always be available to help. There is swimming pool and cricket enclosure. Overall if you wish to relax in the room with minimal facilities opt for this!! Huge improvement needed in service

We came for my wife’s birthday and the team at Radisson made sure to make our stay comfortable and special. They decorated our room and gave us a complimentary cake. They are very helpful and kind. The staff at Palms restaurant, specially Mahima assisted us really well. We recommend this property to everyone.

You can also go for a nature trail and visits fountains, night stay in a tent on a hill, enjoy the boot camp experience then the sun rise. Resort has primarily two kind of rooms, condos and tents, both are quite spacious with all essentials. The staff is responsive and friendly. The club has swimming pool with music system that you can connect your phone and play music, indoor play room (while we were their none of the ac worked, tennis court (badly maintained, beautiful maintained lawn. No kids play area. If you are staying in tent, be mindful of snakes that come with the territory. They have got a nice bar and restaurant, which is good. Breakfast and lunch was a disappointment. Bare minimum options (all veg. They also prepare jain food. You can order food from outside if you crave for non veg or little more spice in your life. Overall a mixed experience. So i would say 2. 5/5

The fitness center was clean and well-equipped, and the pool area was a great place to relax. The hotel also had a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. Services: the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met and that i had a comfortable stay. Room: my room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and i appreciated the little touches like the complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Overall, i would highly recommend the monarch express panvel hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city. The location, food, amenities, and services were all top-notch, and i would definitely stay here again in the future.

Neat and clean room waiting after you complete a full filling trek, with no hurry to leave for your home. We hadn't availed any food or room service. Few decent food joints nearby. We were exploring those. But except for irshalgad, all tourist attractions are quite far. Otherwise, location is decent, right on the highway. Rated 3 star as staff behaved nicely.

Amenity wise, the property is awesome considering that they have a pool and a decent open / garden area for outdoor activities. One suggestion could be to have more amenities in the room like tea / coffee saches and an additional chair / table in the room given the size of the room. |0.39km from city centerWe stayed at durva palace on the republic day long weekend. The whole of alibaug was packed. We paid per room with breakfast and found it value for money. The room is quite new, bathroom was clean and basic. Breakfast had 2 veg options, eggs ***** with tea and coffee. Breakfast starts (late) at 9am, so we placed our order the previous night and got it at sharp 9am. They serve wonderful lunch and dinner too, fish was delicious. Food was extremely hot and super fresh, but place your order 45-60 mins in advance. 4-5 cars can be parked easily and 7-8 with some difficulty in the covered parking. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Paresh, prakash and ramdas ji were all quite efficient. All in all a lovely stay.

Do not fall for all that is told to you by Mr. Amit as he is not at the property and is in the booking office Mumbai you will find a different bad unhygienic & disturbing scenario at the property . Check in experience. We were checked in on the first floor room which was unhygienic and a hazard for Health and safety. Solid strained bed sheet which was torn. That's what a freshly checked-in room looks like . Toilet not cleaned with lodes of pest in wash room if you have kids be careful with spiders & Dangerous centipede (goam commonly called.)Aunts and maggots are common! Yes maggots We had a maggot creeping all over the room and ants eating them. Your towels look like they are mops and they don’t get changed. The most unhygienic part is housekeeping won’t bother to give you a wet towel. That's the hygiene here.You don’t get your room serviced if you are staying for two days nighter your dustbins are cleaned and all maggots and antus around it . Food Smart rotational menu is planned where dishes are always the same with a change of names. and yes big jargon specials just to blow your dream land . Expect lots of house flies on your food as food is not kept covered and it’s not definitely warm (Get ill soon .) Do not fall for package deals with food as it’s not worth it. FORGET ABOUT F&B ETHEQUES (No soup bowl on scarcity of tissue papers that’s common We felt so royal eating the so-called sahi tukda . Ohhhh its milk reduced with corn flour and fried bread. One thing is sure it’s a trap that you get in once you land IN THIS BAD HOTEL. Overall, its a must avoid if you want to have tension free vacation at this hill station.
