In that journey, and thanks to the recommendation of a friend, I stumbled upon The Robey. Let me tell you, after this horribly stressful week of mine– The Robey was like a breath of fresh air. From the two phone calls I had with the hotel, with Sydney and Michael, the customer service was astounding. They were knowledgable, eager to fulfill my requests, and incredibly kind. Starting on the ground floor, there’s the Robey Cafe which is adjacent to the lobby and incredibly beautiful. The front desk staff, Celia, specifically, were super sweet and efficient and made sure I understood and could take advantage of every amenity my room rate included. Contrary to other reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed the customer service I received. On the second floor, there is a gorgeous mid-century modern workspace with tons of space to set up shop and hang out, while masked-up and socially distant, of course. I stayed on the 8th floor, in one of the King suites with a tub. The room itself was one of the nicer rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Truly incredible. And the view? was STUNNING. Watching the sunset with a glass of champagne was truly the pinnacle of my stay. In the bathroom, which was absolutely beautiful, they included a bathtub tray so that I could watch read a book while taking a bubble bath! While I personally did not check out the rooftop or the lounge, I am sure they were just as incredible. In short, I had an incredibly relaxing night and will be returning with more business, both for myself and my family/friends. The Robey is officially the go-to hotel.
