This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. I have always trusted Premier Inn and stay very regularly; you come to expect a certain standard of cleanliness, safety and service with the brand. On arrival, I noticed mould around the window and a damp smell in the room. (Photos show the mould). It was awful. I went straight to reception but they couldn’t do anything as the hotel was full. I was offered a free breakfast as compensation but I felt the issue could not be solved with a free breakfast and didn’t want them to think that was sufficient recompense. I had also made other plans for breakfast. The receptionist said we could move rooms the following day but we would have to pack our bags first thing and leave them in reception. As we had valuables and electronics, I didn’t want to do this either, as we were out for the whole day and evening. The photo attached shows how bags are stored in the reception area so you can see why I chose not to take this option. Bags were left on show and in view of the street outside with open access through the main doors. No staff were on reception or in the lobby on a very regular basis during our stay so bags are simply left unattended and not securely stored. I complained via the website on my return and was given a £63 refund against a total cost of £265. To me, this is unacceptable and in no way reflects the level of discomfort and uncleanliness we encountered. It completely spoilt our stay. I will never stay in a Premier Inn again.

Let start with some positives:- Great location, very close to tube station, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The area is very safe with both foot and vehicle traffic, travelling as a solo female I never felt unsafe at any time of the day or early evening. The room was well appointed with all you needed in a well set up mini kitchen for cooking some meals, although there was occasionally a cooking smell in the hallways when other guests were cooking something very strong. The main areas, including a fantastic (app. required) laundry were always clean and tidy. There is a seating area adjacent to reception where you can make yourself a drink and relax. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom mid grade with hot water (more about that later) Now to the negatives:- There were two issues whilst I was staying here, one was no hot water for one weekend and no wifi for another weekend. Whilst these issues do occur I'm sure at other hotels from time to time the communication was poor around these issues, with staff not able to answer when these issues would be resolved. After quite a few to and fro's the reception staff finally found another hotel for me for one night so at least I could have a shower. Before I checked out I took the oppurtunity to sit down with Marco, the front officer manager to provide him with my constructive feedback about my stay and the issues including communication. Marco thanked me for taking the time to speak to him, and hopefully my feedback will assist management in future if issues like this arise again. Although these issues did arise and detracted from my overall happiness with the stay I would be happy to stay here again in future as long as issues identified are dealt with promptly and communication has improved.

This is a great hotel to choose from definitely one of the top-notch in service. I took my mom stay at this hotel for one week we have arrived in the very early morning hotel has arranged early check-in at 9:30 AM accommodating my 80 year old mom, which is very heartwarming. This hotel has the style , the design and history, as well as the best service all in one. At night time I have requested to add a blanket for my mom as she feel a little cold the housekeeping brought a blanket that was pre-warmed up. They really pay attention to details in service. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody who loves rich history, as well as beautiful artsy designs. After I stayed at this hotel, I think will never possible. I will always put a rosewood hotel as my top choice.

We stayed at L’Oscar for three nights in a junior suite, and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff in particular are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is small but good - we had breakfast there every morning, and one dinner. The only complaint is that the rooms have odd wiring for lighting, so it was impossible to have just one or two lamps by the bed on at night. Also several different red and green lights emanating from both tv’s, and the fire alarm sensor. If you like a dark room for sleep, bring an eye mask. The Holborn tube stop is just steps away, so that’s very convenient for getting around quickly, and Covent Garden is about a 10 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

BEST HOTEL we’ve ever stayed in! Location is unbeatable and Everyone in the staff was so professional and attentive. Manager Shana Thomas was extremely kind and made our stay superb! After checking several hotels for our first stay in London we noticed most of them were just sooo small and we wanted a roomier place. We booked the NYX at a reasonable price and with a King size bed. The check in was so easy and whatever we needed the staff was there for us. They have a pool, gym and the rooftop bar is amazing. Breakfast there is also great. Location is just a block from metro and everything is close by! We will definitely come back

This hotel is very centrally located and is an English-style building in a quiet area. There is a yard at the entrance, and you can drink free black tea or coffee in the lobby and yard. It happened to be able to see the green space of the London School of Economics and Political Science (at first thought it was a park) 5 meters away from a small road. It is more than 200 meters away from the main building of King's College London. After going out, you will reach the main road, and the subway station is less than 200 meters from the hotel. There is a fruit shop next to the subway station. The fruit is cheap and of good quality. For example, Italian grapes cost 1 pound a box. There are boots drugstores on the main road, there are also metro banks, bars and fast food restaurants, including McDonald’s Starbucks Costa Burger King. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the waiters on several shifts are very warm and friendly. The hotel is very clean. You need to clean the room by yourself, or ring the bell to ask the waiter to clean it (15 pounds)

The Edison is as good as ever and of such quality. Hotels in London are too expensive, so I booked the cheapest room type. On the downside, there is no view from the window. This hotel has a great feeling, the entrance is very beautiful, but there are many bars around at night, it would be scary to walk on foot. The toiletries are still specially customized by le labo. In the morning, the downstairs smells like coffee, and when you come back at night, it smells like le labo the noir, which is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped, the toilet is fully surrounded by rain, and there is mineral water. The light switch is also very delicate.

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

The hotel is near Stop J where the national express bus to the airport stops. It is convenient if you plan to travel in and out of the city. It’s still quite a bit of a walk to the bus stop and train station, not at the door step but manageable. The security is also very tight at the hotel. Staff was very accommodating. I checked in late and checked out early. Everything went smoothly. They also gave me a cake for my birthday which was sweet. Room is generally clean. Carpet could be cleaner. Also, the room is spacious for London’s standard.

I lived in this hotel for the first time in the UK. The experience was very good at the time, the hotel is in a good location and cost-effective, so I thought I would choose to stay here afterwards. I wanted to book a room in advance for the second time this time, but chose a lot of dates without a room. Later only accessible rooms were available. Think about staying alive for two nights. Because one of them happens to be a New Year's Eve, it goes without saying that the price is not cost-effective. The room I gave was facing the street, and I didn't sleep well after a night of noisy. And this time the service attitude was very average. Retaining luggage is also reluctant. The front desk was also lazy. In short, I won't come next time. In the end, a penny is a penny, and a willingness to spend money on Mayfair's Marriott.

Staff were amazing and attentive when issues arose. Booked the king size room which was large and spacious but that’s where the good parts end. - Air Condition did not work (Told reception when we got in at night and was given a fan) - Mini fridge did not work, so gave the food we bought to amazing receptionist - lamp in the corner was not plugged in, had to move the table from the wall to switch it on. - Bathroom wasn’t wiped down properly so you could see the residue of the last guests. Besides the amazing staff who helped and gave good local recommendations for bars and restaurants the quality of the hotel was lacking. Would not be staying again.

We visited this hotel for the 2nd time. The location is prefect, there is a shopping centre next door with great shops, supermarket, an indoor karting circuit, lots for kids and adults to do. There is a great bus service nearby and a train station not too far a away. The hotel is spotless clean. The rooms are very comfortable. We had a premier plus room which also had a fridge, air con and heating. The only let down was the buffet breakfast. The food was cold and the toaster was a nightmare as even after 3 attempts it only produced warm bread. Breakfast can be bought cheaper across the road in McDonald’s and that is what I will be doing the next time. At £11.99 I expected the food to be warm at least. This aside, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay at the Bankside hotel though not without some difficulties. We had asked for a quiet room but were placed right next to the lift lobby and opposite the water dispenser, and with hard floors throughout the lift lobby and entrance area of the rooms this meant a LOT of noise coming in the room at all hours. In fairness, the front desk tried to find an alternative but it was not what we were looking for so we opted to stay where we were and made the best of it. Aside from this everything else about the stay was great, a really lovely modern hotel with very friendly and fun staff, great breakfast (though not cheap) and good location on the South Bank. We would definitely stay here again (though ask not to be in this room location). Special mention to breakfast staff who helped get extra fruit for our toddler and concierge who gave him Christmas gifts from the tree... lovely touches.

Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Good location, very close to Imperial College, in the middle of Gloucester Road and South Kensington subway station, it is more convenient to transfer to anywhere. The hotel faces the street and is more or less noisy at night. It is also a residential renovation. Although the facilities are not old (in the case of Britain), the house is a bit crowded. Where to start...first impressions were not good at all. We stayed on Wednesday 11th November. We were locked out, despite staff knowing we would be arriving late (we arrived at 23:15). We tried for 15 minutes, in the pouring rain to get in, we called and called and called..no answer and then the door miraculously opened as if by magic. We got to reception to be greeted by the most miserable person we have ever met. No apology, no hello, no nothing just ”gotta reservation?”..as someone who runs a 4 star hotel this guy wouldn't have a job, how he (Asian, 5ft 10ish, black jumper) actually HAS a job I'll never know all I can think is nepotism. I realise we are in London, the land of no manners but we expected more from a 4 star hotel. Anyway, our room was ok, no toiletries, only 1 set of towels (Covid? Who knows), poor tv channels and a non working remote due to our 'Mr. Miserable' host we didn't want to complain incase we made him cry. Nice pillows in the room, I like firm pillows. Breakfast was nice considering and the server Faruk/Faruq was lovely. An asset and a saving grace to our trip, helpful, friendly, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us maybe he could train Mr. Miserable in how to be nice. Our check out was smooth our receptionist asked how our stay was honestly we couldn't be bothered to tell her about our check in and bet she wouldn't have done anything anyway. All in all we wouldn't stay in a holiday Inn again, we have had better service in an Ibis.

Just an average hotel convenient for the area. Closed for 3 months from 1st November 2020. A few problems with the room but can be put down to the closure of the hotel for a few months. Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. I cannot recommend this pub/hotel highly enough. Location was perfect for Olympia (my reason for travel was attending a 2 day even there), the team were all helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, including offering to hold my luggage and help me up to my room (as no lift). The room (a 2nd floor twin facing Olympia) was also a very good size, excellently equipped (lovely drinks, comfy chair, spacious desk) and amazingly soundproof from both the road and train right outside, and the pub downstairs. The breakfast was possibly the best English breakfast I've ever had, and the coffee just superb. On top of that the stay was excellent value for the area, and I felt safe and looked after as a lone female traveller. Would look for a reason to come and enjoy this place again, and ideally have time to try to food too next time if the breakfast is anything to go by!

I have spent 40 years traveling the world and I have stayed in the smallest hotels that Japan has to offer including capsule hotels. Hotel Mimi beats them all - the room I stayed in was small, really small with no window. But it was great! - I knew what I was letting myself in for but I knew all I wanted was a comfortable bed and somewhere to wash and the room excelled at both of these things. Beautiful marble bathroom with Molton Brown soaps and shampoos. Now, if you ask if it was worth the nearly £200 I paid the answer is no - but this is London and thats what you have to pay. I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight. Joshua was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will use this hotel as often as possible and recommend it to others.

The hotel is about 15 mins walk from High Street Kensington tube station. There is also a bus stop just 2 mins from the hotel that takes you to Piccadilly Circus and other parts of the city. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along near the hotel and Holland Park is also just a doorstep away. Overall, the hotel itself is a bit old but the room is very clean and spacious. The bed and the pillows are perhaps too soft for my liking but not uncomfortable in means. The bathroom is big and they do provide you with shower wash and body lotion. However, I was not sure how to adjust the temperature of the AC and the room was a bit cold. Overall, this is more a business hotel which provides all the basic amenities fairly well. If you are travelling with small children then there could be better opinions in town.
