I took my mother for Christmas Eve and Christmas for two consecutive nights. My mother was very satisfied and the Christmas atmosphere was very strong. I added more than S $ 90 a night to upgrade to a room with half sea view and half city view (full sea view room is full). The picture shows that there is a sea view when booking. This point needs to be explained more clearly. The toiletries used are balmain, which is of high grade. If I make a house twice a day, I will fill it with drinking water in time, and I will also send you the hotel's chocolate. The pool scenery is also very beautiful, the service is better than the Jinsha pool, and there are fewer people. Basically, one swims in the water at night, and it is hot during the day. As soon as the pool is reached, a glass of ice water has been delivered in time. Breakfast was good and the dining environment was super nice. The downside is that the water in the bathtub is a bit slow, and a cockroach was found when checking out to clean up the room. The price is still worth the stay.

5 star for sure . Firstly , I changed my booking at the very last minute on the day itself because I have something on and the reservations desk was very helpful to accommodate my request without additional charge . Then on the day of check in , I got upgraded 😍😍😍😍. Check in process was fast and smooth . Room is spacious the view is .... magnificent . It’s a shame I didn’t take pictures so I had to screenshot it from my video . The toilet is my favourite space 😂. The alarm comes with a wireless charger however it is not so practical as I have to leave my phone on it for charging , it would be great if there were at least 2 USB charging ports near the bed area . Ordered room service , the food was average however the view and service just elevated the entire experience . I will definitely come back again , thank you again for the upgrade 🥰.

If there is one word to describe the whole experience, the word is impeccable. My family and I were blown away by the service standards provided by the hotel. From the tea master, to the front desk, to the house keeper, everyone in the hotel put on an amazing display of excellence. From the moment we checked in till we checked out, it was nothing but First Class. I would also like to thank the team for making my Mum's birthday a memorable one. I would like to make a special mention to Ms Joyce who is part of the guest experience team. My parents just had a causal conversation with her regarding a particular cuisine, and to my amazement, she specially bought some of this cuisine and hand deliver it straight to my parents room. How wonderful is that? It was truly a memorable stay at the Clan Hotel. Out of the many hotels I've stayed around the world, I can confidently say this hotel is by far the best. Thank you so much.

Initial check in kindda messy, where we were standing at the check in counter feeling lost, until a service crew came forward to assist us. The whole process was a smooth one, where we were brought to a resting area to sit there to fill up the form and wait for a crew to bring us over. Sue is a very helpful lady, where she went the extra mile in helping us to check on the possibility of an extension of the stay. She also brought us up to have a different view of the rooms for the extra night to allow us to decide on which room to take. In the end, she also managed to allow us to stay within the same room that we booked and removed the hassle of moving between rooms. Thanks Sue for her helpful service! Food at Town Restaurant was so so for the ala Carte options, where we ordered the burger and fish and chips. Nothing fantastic on that. Room service is a little slow and have rooms of improvement, where they should quickly send someone up to clear out In room dining desk upon receiving the order, but waited for almost an hour and still no one came up and collect. Overall, service desk crew service is great! Room service crew have rooms of improvement in terms of response timing, and food options to be improved.

I had a great staycation at Amoy on Sun 15 Nov. Bryan greeted me with warmth and fantastic hospitability. I had a refreshing oolong soda when I checked in and complimentary beers in the room minibar to quench my thirst. I also received a greeting note from Benjamin the manager with some lovely butter cookies. The next day, Benjamin noted that i didnt sleep well because of the rain on Sun night and he offered to extend my check out time to catch up on my sleep. That is so sensitive and thoughtful. The breakfast at Genius Green was sumptous and nutritious, I was fuelled up well for Amoy street tour of cultural monument and history. Bryan and Benjamin were friendly and observant to guest's needs. I will go back again Amoy for my next nightout at Telok Ayer Area.

I knew the room would be small but I couldn’t anticipate just how small it could be! Recommended to those traveling with only a carryon as there is no space to put a big luggage, let alone a space to even open one. The room was comfortable enough for sleeping. The walls are paper thin so fingers crossed that you have courteous neighbors. I had nice neighbors who were quiet my first night but the second night a new tenant checked in and started talking on the phone with the speaker on in the hallway at 8AM so I could hear everything loud and clear. The bathroom though very limited they are clean. The booking said there would be amenities but there was only liquid soap so I had to buy my own shampoo. But there are 7-11 and Guardian nearby. The shower floor could need some scrubbing so I decided to shower with my flipflop on. The staff were very nice. They explained how things work and helped you with the luggage. If you need new towels or have questions they’re always at the ready to assist. There’s no staff at night but you’re given a keycard that can access the building and your room. You can also store your luggage at the lobby after check out if your flight is later in the day. The best thing about this hostel is the location. A lot of bars and restaurants and a short walk to Chinatown. You can also access both the Blue line (that goes to Bayfront) and the Green line (straight to/from Changi/Jewel). I would stay here again as a solo traveler and if I don’t plan to carry more than one carryon. I would choose a bigger room than the standard cabin though next time.

We just loved the boutique and high class feel of the hostel whilst it also maintained that communal feel which we love too. The rooms were really comfortable and the mattresses perfect for us. The pods had great curtains which blocked out light and added privacy whilst staying in a shared room. Also loved the touches like two sets of lights one brighter and one a bit dimmer as well as the plug and slippers too. Location was ideal for exploring the city being a short walk from public transport, varied places to eat, a 7/11 below and not far to walk to the marina too.

Everything was good from reservations to check-in. Colin who was from the reservations department ensured that my family of 7 had a connecting room (2 bedroom apartment and studio room) during this CNY. He is polite and prompt in replying emails. I am very glad that everything was pre-arranged accordingly with no hiccups. The check-in process was smooth and the 2 bedroom apartment is huge. We needed 1 extra bed for the 5th person in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was however placed in the middle of the living room, in between the dining table and sofa. Hence theres little space to walk in the living area. The in-room and hotel amenities are excellent and clean. But 1 night before check-out, we called front desk to check if a late check-out is possible for our family. We got an almost immediate YES that we could stayed till 2pm. But at 1215pm, we received a phonecall that we needed to check-out at 12pm. We told the lady who called us that we already received a confirmation last night that we could check-out at 2pm. She said that the 2pm late check-out applies to the studio room for 2 people and not the bigger apartment. I trust that there might be a mistake or a miscommunication along the line. However, the person who gave the green light for late check-out should check that both rooms were made under 1 booking and those 2 rooms are connecting! My family were so disappointed as they are still relaxing in the room and having lunch. We checked-out hastily with everyone scrambling to shower, pack and leave. It was really a great start to our CNY staycation.. but have ended it otherwise..

The room is like this, it is considered cheap in Singapore, mainly because the location is very suitable for our walking family, so here is the capsule, there are small ants, because the capsule can not be cleaned particularly, after all, it is difficult to clean, but later I won't come to live again. People usually sleep a little at night. After all, everyone's time is different. They wake up in the middle of the night to drink water, and they get up a lot in the evening. It's okay to stay for one night at the border crossing. It doesn't matter if you come to play.

Arrived at the hotel more than 1 pm, the staff checked me in. The geographical location is superior. The hotel turns left and goes a few hundred meters to go to Fanglin Pasar. The laksa on Renlong store on the second floor is expensive. It costs 10 coins and it tastes good. The Fujian Bak Kut Teh on the 1st floor is very good. The 4 bowls of coins are good. The soup and ribs taste good, but the herbs taste a little heavier. Turn right at the hotel and turn right for more than ten minutes. There is the Maxwell Food Center on the street. Every day, Hainan Chicken Rice is inside. Unfortunately, the day I went there was not open. I switched to Xingxing Hainan Chicken Rice. I walked about twenty minutes from the hotel to Merlion Park, and only five minutes' walk to Ya Kun for breakfast and coconut toast. It was very convenient to use Google navigation. In the alley near the hotel, there are still some murals of the early Tang people living in Nanyang. You can take a look if you have time.

Marina Bay
Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check. Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd. Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too! After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched! The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again. I was also granted late check out! Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

There was a 3-hour delay in checking-in but we were reasonably compensated in the form of complimentary parking and dining credits. Kudos to the front desk and concierge staff who were efficient and patient, especially with some unreasonable guests (no need to make things difficult for those who are trying to make your stay better). Food quality of in room dining was good and the safety measure was well managed at the pool. Thank you to all that have served us during our stay, you are Awesome! Just one thing not so pleasant thou, the service attitude of a particular male staff at Ash and Elm was rather bad that’s why we decided not to dine there. Seemed like somethings don’t change (bad experience with Ash and Elm years back), so except for the restaurant, we would love to come back again 😁

Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff service was friendly and professional. After the 1st night, was woken up by drilling and hammering noises at 9 plus in the morning. Breakfast in room dining was ordered at 930am, arrived at 1150am as in doom dining department could not cope w the huge amount of orders. Was informed that our breakfast would arrive at 1130am. So first day, wasn't impressed w renovation noises that disrupted our sleep and a breakfast that was more of brunch. Did request for room change and was given another room. Air conditioning in the new room was not working well n had to request for a fan. Overall, the old building and maintenance of the hotel would place it as a 4 star hotel rather than a 5-star rating.

Sentosa Island
From booking communication through email, Aisyah was the best. Everything went smooth and all our requests was accommodated. Even the room upgrade. Thank you so much Aisyah! :) Check in was smooth and Vin was really friendly and welcoming. As for the room (1015), it was almost perfect! Room was spacious enough for two and the view was AMAZING!!! Truly a panoramic view. Balcony was great, but it would have been better if there was a brighter light for lounging out during the evening. Only improvement I guess would be some of the staff being more friendly specially by the pool and beach area. In other Shangri-la, guests would go directly to the beds and a staff will bring the towels and some water for refreshments. We did not experience this here in Rasa Sentosa. Not sure if this is because of covid. But it would still be great if the staff would in those areas be more welcoming and friendly. Overall, had a great time and had a great birthday celebration. We would definitely come back for another quick getaway from the city. Thank you so much!

Lavender
Hotel Boss is about the location. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and Lavender MRT Station is 200m away. Bugis and City Hall area is a short bus ride away and Kampong Glam is within walking distance. Check-in was surprisingly quick, given the long queues inside the lobby as well as 2 separate long queues outside the hotel (one along it's drop-off point via Syed Alwi Road and another along its front - Victoria Street). The staff were friendly and welcoming. Pretty good attitude given the large crowd and check-ins. It's a mid-range hotel with many rooms. The rooms, however, are pretty small. Tiny, I would say. I have got a Triple Room and the distance between the foot of the bed and the desk is about a person's width. The en-suite toilet is tiny too. A big-sized guy like me would hit the wall or the basin when I changed inside the toilet. There are no traditional toilet paper dispenser. Instead, what was installed was a tissue paper in a cylindrical container where you pulled down piece by piece. This was installed by the mirror behind you if you used the bowl, so it was pretty inconvenient. The water strength of the tap and showers were good. Toiletries and towels were provided and replenished/changed daily. The bed was comfortable but only one pillow was provided and the pillow was thin. The air-con is pretty strong and given the small size of the rooms, the room was cooled pretty quickly. There is no wardrobe but an open-style hanging system was used with 6 hangers. Coffee and tea was provided as well as a kettle. The mini-fridge was great! The strength was great and chilled my drinks quickly. One really bad thing about Hotel Boss is that they have pretty thin walls. I could hear the muffled sounds of my next-door neighbours talking and the sound of the TV. There were some shouting two doors down and that was audible. Had to call the staff up to handle and they did a pretty good job. The in-room telephone wasn't working well and I could not hear anything after 2 calls down to the reception but they sent a guy up after that to make sure things were good. Breakfast was provided and served at their 4th floor Halal-certified restaurant. It was a choice between a Chinese or Western set. Serving was great with the typical breakfast items, in addition to yogurt, bread and cereal with milk. There were queues at certain times of breakfast (after 9.30am) but that was probably due to the high occupancy rate. All in all, I believe the Triple Room I stayed in was too cosy for 3 adults. I loved the service and condition of the room. It was convenient to get to a lot of places. However, one thing to note is that they would locked the front doors (facing Victoria Street) from 9pm-5am and you would have to access via it's drop-off point (facing Syed Alwi Road and Kallang River).
