We had dinner in the Alma restaurant on the 33rd floor and the views are breathtaking. The decor and ambience so warm and relaxing and inviting. Had a first dinner and service was great.
Breakfast options and quality of food is brilliant. Excellent coffee options, freshly made omlettes, pancakes and much more. The are very helpful and catered to all our needs. We wree greeted warmly and welcomed wherever we went in the hotel. The staff are all amazing.

🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village
I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world.
The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed.
My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind.
Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler.
Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers.
And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue.

Nice part of town and close walking distance to many places such as walking street, vincom, river and much more. A bit of history if you look really close and experience something unique. Breakfast was ok and rooms are a bit dated but that's the charm of the hotel. Gym could be upgraded as only one treadmill that didn't work and one bike that wasn't plugged in. Breakfast spread wasn't great for me as I have specific diet needs, but overall enough variety for the average traveller. The yoghurt was absolutely the best I'd ever had tho. Perfectly smooth, not tart, and they had an unsweetened version. The room was neat, clean, housekeeping was efficient - one of the days they ran the bell and we were just on the way out so we said they could go ahead and make up the room anyway. In and out in no time flat!
The concierge service was impeccable. We were treated like royalty. It wasn't just the usual 'standard' politeness, but a friendliness that was so heartwarming I really felt special. We'll definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Hue.From$67

Extremely central location, diagonally opposite Chu Van An, the hub of downtown Hué with all the restaurants, shops and pubs. Hotel is dated but clean and everything still functions. You need to go for a riverside room which has a good view and less noise at night. In the city facing rooms you will enjoy thumping music until 2am.
Walls are slightly thin so noisy neighbors will bother you.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location is great. Sadly, good things ended here. Room that I’d was on the second floor. It’s quite run-down and strange design. It had a giant kind size bed with little space to walk around. Dresser had a loud squeaky sound whenever I opened it. Outside AC units were so loud that I couldn’t fall sleep. 2. At 3:00 a.m. on February 16, there were loud shouting and activities outside, which did not stop until 8:00 a.m. Couldn't fall asleep after being woken up! It's really infuriating.
When I checked out in the morning, I complained to the front desk and the hotel told me that this was a celebration organized by the government! But my question is that if there is an activity by the government, the hotel will know about it and should notify the guests as soon as possible (at least change hotels).
Instead of waiting for complaints to be made before giving 2 drinks or spa coupons and just calling it a day! The point is that this is not a business hotel, and we don't know how long it will take for international guests to arrive, so we can't use the coupons even if we get them. My family and I spent the entire Chinese New Year holiday in Hue, and Anna Mandela Beach Resort brought me a great surprise. We have stayed at 4 resorts in total (including one in Hoi An). I personally think that Anna Mandela is the most surprising of these four, and the one with the most comprehensive cost performance.
From Hue Railway Station, my family and I have enjoyed the meticulous service of Anna Mandela. Although the train was more than 3 hours late, as soon as we got out of the platform, the driver gave us cold towels under the hot sun. And drinking water. An aunt from France welcomed us at the front desk. She was very kind, friendly and dedicated. Her personal behavior set a high standard for the service of the resort. She happily introduced us to everything about the resort and every detail of the room, as if she was sharing with us the treasure she is proud of; when she found that there were only two ice cream vouchers in the room, she quickly went back and gave them to my daughter Last one; she treated me and my family like friends, so that I would think that I was a guest at her house, not a hotel.
Anna Mandela Beach Resort is small and exquisite. Although it is a distance from the city of Hue, this means that you can enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Shun An Beach. The sand on the beach is very thin and gentle. You can walk to Far away from the sea. The free shuttle bus provided by the resort can satisfy any exploration of Hue and it is also convenient for you to enjoy the rich nightlife of Hue.
Although I booked the most basic room type, even the most common room type was very satisfying. The rooms and bathrooms were large, with simple Southeast Asian style wood decoration, warm and comfortable. There is a huge platform and a soft lounge chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. It also has direct access to the garden and swimming pool, and is only a few steps away from the beach.
My six-year-old daughter loves the blue swimming pool. She spends the whole day in the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and few people. My daughter is also particularly obsessed with catching crabs on the beach. I would like to add some marine sports, such as kayaking, surfboards, standing rowing boats, etc.
I have regretted that I only stayed two nights at Anna Mandela. If I come back next time, I hope to stay for a week, so that I have enough time to slowly taste the quiet and blue beauty here, and the food in the restaurant. .SOLD OUT

I really liked this hotel ☺️ I stayed for 2 nights and booked an economy room without a window, but they gave me a large room with a window) the girls at the reception are very small, they speak English. The room is clean, spacious, there is a refrigerator, TV. Breakfasts are small, but quite tasty (you can choose from the menu). It's a 25-minute walk to the railway station, 5 minutes to the imperial city.

I stayed on the 3rd floor. I booked a Superior Room through Trip.com and somehow when I arrived they assumed I had used another platform. I didn't mind, as long as they arrange the room that I had booked. The room was different, it was on the first floor and it didn't have a balcony. After I told them I had booked a room with a balcony they took me to the 3rd floor to a room that was noticeably smaller. I didn't mind because I was just visiting a friend and I was going to use the room just for sleeping and working online. The wifi signal is low so it disconnects all the time, at least it did in my balcony room on the 3rd floor.
My booking included buffet breakfast and it was good. They offered a combination of Western and local dishes and a variety of drinks. However, when I checked out they couldn't find my reservation. Lobby staff handed me the bill and it took me about 10-15 minutes to convince them while showing them my emails from Trip.com that the room had been already paid.
My recommendation is that if you're going to stay with them and you plan on driving around Hue, stay there! Its location is excellent and they have a parking spot for your motorbike. There are many options for restaurants, local food, shops and such nearby the hotel even if you're going to be moving by Grab. I loved the location and the food was good. From$20

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!From$116

Definitely the best experience we've had for a while. Scenery is great, services are top notch, the food is AMAZING. They started out as a restaurant, and now expanded into a resort, so that kinda explains. There're now 2 or 3 restaurants in the resort, serving both local and western cuisines. Breakfasts are free and can be ordered unlimitedly.
We usually have heavy breakfasts in the place, then went out to explore the city and the street foods outside. On the last night, we had our dinner at one of their Vietnamese restaurant. And while it's obviously more expensive than the street foods, the portion and tastiness is also at another level.
The staffs are very very nice. While check-in, we handed them our passports and that's probably how they noticed that one of our birthday is during the stay. So they gave us a bunch of vouchers/discount for their services. Even hand made a birthday cake as a gift!

We love this place. We had a beautiful spacious wooden cabin with a balcony overlooking the Pearl River. Phi, the manager looked after us splendidly and could not have done more. We locked ourselves out, he came up in his buggy, we forgot something, he came up in his buggy; he had a cooked sliced steak take-away breakfast with dragon fruit ready at 6.45am and a taxi. Thank you Phi and team! We come back one April to see the tombs and pagodas we missed.

The facilities are not bad for the price, but since it is an old building, the space is wide but there are not enough outlets for electricity.
And the area next door had unstable network conditions for roaming and Wi-Fi, making it difficult to work.
I think I will consider it when there are other options.

The hotel is located a little out of the Hue city centre so you will need your own transport or pay for taxis. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby but the choice is limited.
The room is enormous and very comfortable, even if some furniture is looking a bit tired.
The pool is great for relaxing after a day's sightseeing but gets very busy with local children around 4pm.
On 2 of the 3 nights I stayed, there were very noisy parties in the restaurant between 5 and 7pm with karaoke and kids being encouraged to have screaming competitions. It was at least quiet in the evening.From$48

We have stayed at 4 resorts in total (including one in Hoi An). I personally think that Anna Mandela is the most surprising of these four, and the one with the most comprehensive cost performance.
From Hue Railway Station, my family and I have enjoyed the meticulous service of Anna Mandela. Although the train was more than 3 hours late, as soon as we got out of the platform, the driver gave us cold towels under the hot sun. And drinking water. An aunt from France welcomed us at the front desk. She was very kind, friendly and dedicated. Her personal behavior set a high standard for the service of the resort. She happily introduced us to everything about the resort and every detail of the room, as if she was sharing with us the treasure she is proud of; when she found that there were only two ice cream vouchers in the room, she quickly went back and gave them to my daughter Last one; she treated me and my family like friends, so that I would think that I was a guest at her house, not a hotel.
Anna Mandela Beach Resort is small and exquisite. Although it is a distance from the city of Hue, this means that you can enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Shun An Beach. I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world.
The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed.
My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind.
Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler.
Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers.
And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

One of them had excellent water pressure and hot water, so we all ended up showering in that one. It had a giant kind size bed with little space to walk around. Dresser had a loud squeaky sound whenever I opened it. Outside AC units were so loud that I couldn’t fall sleep. I even shut my room’s AC.! Luckily, I brought a pair of earplugs. Overall, it wasn’t a pleasant stay.
