Can't find a hotel to ask at night, many hotels in Kiev are full at night. The lady at the front desk of this hotel speaks English and communicates smoothly. In addition to the hotel fee shown there is a city tax per person per night. The rooms are decorated in the same style as the European palace. The beds are relatively small with two single beds, so one room basically sleeps two people. The sanitation is very clean. Toothbrushes, slippers and hair dryers are available. We didn't have toothbrushes in the room at first. Later, we asked the front desk for them. The hotel location is also surrounded by kfc, there are several attractions in the shopping plaza that can be reached in 10 minutes. However, we have to go to a small hill to the hotel.SOLD OUT

The hotel is in a nice and charming neighborhood, close to tram and metro and also in a walking distance to many attractions. Unfortunately we got a room on the 2nd floor facing the road so we could hear the cars at night and could feel some vibration from tram or train nearby. We could also hear a piano from the restaurant downstair. Bedroom was clean and spacious, bed was too soft and lacked of support. Bathroom was also clean and spacious with plenty of toiletries. Receptionists speak minimum English but understandable. Breakfast was ok, lots of choices but kinda bland. We had to check out very early and they offer to pack breakfast box for us which turned out was better than expected. Podil is a nice neighborhood. Overall, the hotel is good and you get what you pay for. SOLD OUT
