An unforgettable stay in a stunning location! We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful lake resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind and relax. The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a perfect break. The food was another highlight, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jeeva in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even more memorable with such attentive and warm service but all of the restaurant staff were excellent and made every meal a pleasure. Also Anju who so lovely and again very attentive but I have to say every single staff member was so pleasant, which made our stay exceptional. Can’t recommend this gem of a place enough, we are already planning our next visit!

A serene retreat with the kumarakom Lake area. The resort has very attentive staff and there's quite a bit to do and explore within the resort. The bungalows are really authentic to the traditional Keralite style. They come with an open to sky bathroom that makes the showering experience amazingly refreshing! Definitely would recommend!!

Very nice property on back waters…resort has water body in centre which is good to look at Good quality is good and service was good Rooms are good size but need renovation now as don’t seem like 5 star standard

The resort is beautiful, located on lake side, has clean amenities, great service and a good restaurant. The only thing that could be improved is the size of the swimming pool as probably it's the smallest as compared to the other resorts in the area. Overall I recommend it if you can get it for a nice price.

We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES Thanks once again for serving is the best treat Keep it up 💕🙏😍

The location of the resort by the lake is the highlight. The open dining hall/restaurant and the view of the long nice looking pool(infinity pool according to them) with flowering trees and greenery around it, extending almost upto or giving a visual effect of stretching to the lake is a visual treat. The cool breeze from lake, flows over the pool and reach us giving a soothing effect while dining at restaurant. Food is good enough. Rooms are comfortable enough. I think it was a value for money stay.

It's a lovely quaint property, very peaceful and serene, the staff is very pleasant and the cleanliness level is really good, the manager mr, robin was extremely helpful and humble,

I had a wonderful stay at Kumarakom Park Resort. The ambiance was serene and the entire property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very hospitable and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived — the security personnel even assisted with our luggage from the vehicle to the reception. On request, we were given a beautiful room with a pool view, and the pool itself was clean and inviting. Housekeeping responded promptly when we requested floor cleaning, which was much appreciated. The staff also guided us on nearby places to visit, and even the security team was informative and courteous. Overall, the service, attention to detail, and warm hospitality truly stood out. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way. Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff. Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment. Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean. Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.
