It's surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is grand and currently has a strong Christmas atmosphere. Both the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated, they are still clean and tidy. The staff are all very warm and polite; they readily approved my request for a late check-out. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes great. What an amazing difference an experience compared to several years ago when I used to stay regularly at this hotel. The attention to detail is outstanding compared to it used to be. The check in and out is fast and efficient, greeted with a smile. They even welcomed me back, paying attention to the fact I'd been a previous guest. Want to leave your deposit via a card? No problem at all. No insisting that you go to an atm to draw our cash!! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and hot, with a good variety of both Western and Filipino dishes. The only thing missing was some lovely fried bacon.😎🙏 Staff in the restaurant were always on duty, ensuring that tables were clean quickly and efficiently. The chef and kitchen staff were always checking on the amount of food available for guests and refilling as quickly as possible. Every single member of staff from the pool attendant to the housekeeping to the front desk to the restaurant had a smile, even security were present, but not in your face. The only thing that could be improved, as always, is the issue with the elevators. It's something that is historic for this building and they take forever to service each floor. I know that they are maintaining the other elevators and I assume trying to get them back in fully functioning form. Once that happens, I believe that the experience will be 100 percent perfect. Sometimes you could be waiting for 10 minutes just to get the elevator to reach your floor and when you're trying to get downstairs to jump in your grab car that's waiting. It's no joke. One final little request that could make the experience a little better, is to update and refurbish the equipment in the gym. and put the aircon system back in fully working operation, And double cheque some of the water pressure issues with the showers at times. At times you would get hot water, other times you'd get lukewarm water. Sometimes it would be full force, other times it would be a dribble. These are minor issues though. The hotel's location is excellent, with a 7-Eleven and a mall conveniently nearby. The service was good; the staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. I also appreciated the water dispenser for refilling bottles and tumblers.
However, the room lacked basic amenities like toiletries, bottled water, and an electric kettle. Only towels were provided.
I had a late check-in due to my flight, and the room did not feel properly cleaned. The blanket was damp, and after spending the night, my pajamas smelled strongly of urine. I requested a change of bedding the next day, which helped reduce the smell.
The air conditioner worked fine, but the room is not soundproof at all. The surrounding area is active at night, so noise from outside can be disruptive.

Whenever i come home and need to stay in mnl, i typically look for places that offer amenities i haven’t tried. I’M hotel offered those amenities- a unique and good sized length lap pool as well as the Onsen Spa. I was sold.
The pool area was gorgeous especially at night with their “birdcage” cabanas. The Spa oh darling if i could use that more than was recommended, I would have! Bonus points for the massage and personalized service as well as the rooftop bar and views 😍
I want to also send a shout out to the professional , helpful and utterly amazing staff. I believe that a business has a huge chance of longevity mainly due to how wonderful the staff takes care of the guests needs. Front desk helped us navigate with checking in and out, getting our rides and helping us with other needs- be it housekeeping, dining or other tasks. Housekeeping, pool guys, food and beverage people, and security went above and beyond with their responsibilities. I have no complaints.
I also would like to point out something that I hope to be taken into consideration. While we were there for 2 days, we had limited options for drinks during breakfast. Being in a tropical country- having local flavors would be such a great addition to the buffet spread. Calamansi or Mango juices would have been very much appreciated. Otherwise everything was wonderful.

I had a great stay at Ascott Makati. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Makati, with easy access to shopping, dining, and business areas.
The service was another highlight. Staff were consistently warm, professional, and helpful—especially the doormen, who went out of their way to assist guests.
The only downside during my stay was the ongoing construction near the entrance, which made access a bit more challenging and required a short extra walk. However, the staff managed the situation well and were always available to guide and assist.

Our stay at Citadines Salcedo Makati was an excellent experience. The property offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and modern design. Its location in Salcedo Village is ideal — peaceful yet close to many restaurants, cafés, and business areas in Makati.
The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out, however, was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great location. There's a Starbucks at the Ground Floor. Breakfast is served at the instagrammable George and Onnies' Filipino Restaurant which is also at the Ground Floor. The plated menu portions were rather small and there is no sides buffet, no salad bar, etc. Pool is nice. Gym is clean but the ventilation is not good. It smells dusty and moldy. Room has no bedside light switches which is rather odd. Shower area is small. Nevertheless, this hotel is ok. Things can be improved further though.FromPKR 16,454

This hotel gave a tip top services from the staffs with clean n big room. They are very polite and helpful. Verities of breakfast n free flow of non alcohol drinks served at the lounge. Location is very good with many mall surrounding the area. Makati is very safe area to walk around. I'm so happy through out my stay & definitely will choose this hotel again.FromPKR 97,548

Decent hotel for business travel/meetings in area. For the budget I think its worth very worth money. However I do feel that there are some considerations that could have made the whole experience a lot better
1) Facilities could do with some upgrade - from rooms, to bathrooms (musty smell, toilet ventilation was slightly slow), to gym
2) Food has improved from previous stay
3) Security could be better improved - got a call past 12 midnight saying we had a visitor and i said no, visitor still turned up
4) Having 1 lift down for servicing during peak period through the 4-5days is quite abit of a jam during the morning rush hoursFromPKR 24,357

Breakfast is very basic, and served from a menu.You have to pay for coffee like cappuccino, it's not included, unlike any other hotel, including those I've stayed at in Manila. If you are looking for a good breakfast, and served like a buffet, this is not the place for you.
Advantages of the hotel: proximity to nice cafes, free parking at the hotel, in terms of cost vs. benefit the hotel gets a high score. If they improved the breakfast it would get a 100% score.FromPKR 20,871

An Excellent place for Business travelers. Firstly, my trip from the Airport to KL Executive was really FAST. From Terminal 1, the shuttle took the skyway and we arrived within 20 min. to be in the Middle of Makati City. Wonderful!!! Really appreciated the Greenery fronting the Property and most important is the Room. It is very CLEAN. It feels like a 5 Star Room under a Serviced Residence Category. The Movies are Free and the Surround Sounds is addictive.... The internet was surprisingly FAST. I have been travelling to Makati for 5 years now and this is the BEST Place I have ever Experienced for my Work... Thank you so much Dess and Joven for giving me such a warm welcome.
For Food, the Restaurant on the Property, Nono's serves good pastries and very fresh Western Selection. I also tried the Japanese Restaurants near Pasong Tamo. it was really value for money compared to Greenbelt Area. I just fell in love with this hotel because it’s SO CLEAN! Seriously, it’s a 5-star cleanliness. From the basement parking to the rooftop pool, everything is sparkling clean. I do love it. There was almost everything we needed in the room and in the bathroom, even vanity kits and facial tissues which is not common for 3-star hotels (I would honestly give them 4 stars🤩)
Service… we did have an issue with a waiter at the breakfast in Kaokee restaurant downstairs. I wish they gave him more training time and supervision cause he looked like he was not a good fit for this resto and the hotel. If he continues to work this way, there’s just gonna be a lot of bad reviews and disappointed customers. Other than this, everyone else is super friendly, accommodating and welcoming there.
Do note that the parking is NOT free. We paid 400 pesos for around 24 hours. I guess it’s gonna be more if you stay longer.
Also, if I stay there again, I would choose no breakfast option cause I’m a fan of Malaysian/Singaporean breakfast (Kaya toast with eggs and milk tea) but it doesn’t come with your booking, they have a separate menu for hotel guests (Filipino/kinda continental options) but Kaokee resto is one of my faves now in Makati, the food is super delicious, reminds me of our trips to Malaysia and Singapore🤩 I would just pay for my breakfast next time and choose what I really want. I would also recommend their Laksa and Salted Egg Shrimps, and both hot and iced Teh (milk tea with condensed milk), the hot one is more flavorful and delicious than the iced one.
But my Mushroom and Cheese omelette was super delicious too! So was my spouse’s Longanisa.
There’s one more resto you can have breakfast in, so do check the menu there.
Their rooftop pool is quite shallow but it felt good to soak there under the sun surrounded by the Makati skyline. It was our staycation and it really worked out cause we felt like tourists in our own city🤩

This hotel/service apartment was perfect for my transit stay in Manila/Makati. Booked on the 18 - 20 of January 2026. There are lots of stores and clubs around. Near to power plant mall. Decent room. Breakfast is good. The porter/doorman was always cheerful and attentive. When I checked out Carl greet me with Mabuhay!. He’s so lively and energetic. He’s very hospitable that can make any guest to come back and book the hotel again.
