We booked 4 rooms for our family tour and we had a great stay at Sapphire House. The rooms were cosy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing with on-demand hot dish menu prepared for you! Front desk staff were very helpful and arranged a van for our group to commute to the station. The team was well diverse with Chinese speaking front desk staff as well. This is a service apartment, the sanitation is very clean, the room size is right, and there is a parking lot next to it. Tom service is very good, very meticulous, especially efficient, I booked a room at 8:00 in the morning, he immediately replied, and arranged the room for me before 1:00 even the added bed was laid. The hotel is in a very convenient location, and you can go anywhere without taking a car or walking.
The service was very good. The concierge helped me book restaurants, spas and consult the surrounding environment, which was very helpful.
Although the food in their restaurant is a bit expensive, it is very delicious. If you fail to make a reservation at the Michelin restaurants nearby, you can still give it a try without drinking too much wine.
The room is very good, quiet and clean, with low-key luxury, the bedding is very comfortable, the bathroom has a bathtub, and the sofa bed in the living room on the loft was replaced with another bed, which is a bit harder, but you can also have your own space. Hotel is located right in the centre of town and near to train station. Walkable location to all amenities and attractions with nice historic buildings and food streets. We enjoyed our Asian meals in a small and cozy restaurant suited in Chinatown which is within walking distance from Hotel. Hotel room is clean and chic. Nice stay and comfortable bed. 😇From$71

The location was conveniently placed next to central station. I even had a view of the beautiful Brussels Central station. The room provide everything I needed except for the mosquito that terrorized my sleep. The room also provide a fan since you can’t control the aircon.From$14

What we liked:
Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge.
The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp.
For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube).
Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with:
Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not.
The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight.
The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels.From$64

We stayed for 3 nights and we had an amazing time here. We loved the room. It has a smart tv so we could watch everything that we wanted. The shower was nice with douche gel and a warming mirror so you can look in the mirror immediately. The breakfast was really really good and diverse.
We walked in 10 minutes to the center. There are also supermarkets in the area. We parked the car 10 minutes away. Booked it upfront and that was nice. They are open for 24 hours a day so there’s always someone to help you when you need help. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. We celebrated our daughters birthday here and they decorated the room. They did everything to make our stay amazing.From$77

The location was perfect for us. There were the train station, metro lines and buses just next to the hotel.
The room was spacious.
Beside that, our room was not really clean... We found paper on the floor when we entered the bedroom upstairs, the cups and mugs were dirty (there was dried toothpaste at the bottom of them) and the cap of the bottle of water, which was complementary, was apparently rust since the top of the glass bottle was all red/black.
It's convenient for 1 night or 2 but I wouldn't stay longer.From$79

The reason of booking this hotel was because of the modern and cool room design and its swimming pool.
However, the stay was bad. We stayed for three day, and didn't required for the cleaning service until day 3 morning.
And the unexpected sittuation happened. We had missing items on my cosmetic and massage products and tools.
We did contact the hotel for the investigation, but they did not do any investigation and only said I will be upgraded with breakfast for the next day.
The swimming pool needs to be booked before going, but actually no one managed and controlled the number of people using the pool.
It starts to get crowned for more than 12 people. The towels were on every sun bed, even no one was using them.
The check-in was not smooth and fast. It took an hour to access the room. I was charged the city tax two times, one prepaid online, another time on arrival.
Then the front desk requested me to send a formal email to enquire the hotel about the over charged of city tax, then the fee was waived at once in 15 minutes later.
The room key did not work with the first room then I was given a new room key for another room 15 minutes later
There were no chair / stool for the customers at the check-in desk, and the check-in process was so long and tiring.
I was not happy with my stay.From$103

This is a very old hotel with well-maintained facilities. The most important thing is that there is a Christmas market and an ice skating rink downstairs, which the children love very much. The taste and service of the restaurant in the market are very good. The Christmas atmosphere is very good. The hotel is next to the Carrefour supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing snacks and fruits. It is just that you need to take a detour to get a taxi to Antwerp Central Station. |1.98km from city centerWij verbleven 2 nachten in een kamertype: studio. We kwamen vroeger aan dan de voorziene check-in tijd maar werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. We konden ons omkleden en de bagage werd veilig bewaard aan de receptie (en nadien door een medewerker naar de kamer gebracht). Via een persoonlijke SMS werden we op de hoogte gebracht wanneer de kamer klaar was. Aangezien we toen niet meer in het hotel waren werd de code en procedure duidelijk uitgelegd om later vlot in te checken via huisnummer 115. De studio was ruim en voorzien van alles zoals voorgesteld tijdens de reservatie. Voor de rokers is er een ruime aparte 'patio'. Hier kan je rustig roken en je eigen drankje consumeren zonder de 'niet-rokers' te storen. Zowel in de kamer, kitchenette en badkamer was de hygiëne prima. Op de gang is er tevens een automaat met enkele drankjes, snoep, chips, tandenborstel,... voorzien. Dit hotel voldeed ruimschoots aan alle verwachtingen van een 3-sterren product. Het uitchecken verliep vlot en wederom hartelijk en vriendelijk. In de kamer was het geluid van de straat wel hoorbaar maar dat wisten we op voorhand gezien de ligging van het hotel (bij een volgende reservatie vragen we misschien een kamer aan de binnenzijde). Een hotelkamer in het echte centrum van de stad heeft dan weer andere geluiden. Het hotel is bijzonder gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het centraal (trein)station en op 20 minuten te voet ben je in hartje Antwerpen. Bij een volgende uitstap naar Antwerpen zal onze keuze snel gemaakt zijn en kiezen we voor Arass Hôtel & Business Flats.

About 20min with public transport very close by around the corner of Hotel and plenty of city bicycle and e-stepper options to move around. My check in experience was efficient and friendly making me feel welcome. The Hotel has a clean and tidy all over appearance and my room #306 had a spacious feel and a good size double bed.
NO AIRCO!! That was one major minus point for me, the Hotel does provide ventilators but during a heat wave it was not enough to feel comfortable. The Hotel has no ”Do not Disturb” door signs which resulted in Housekeeping entering without knocking on door.
I brought this to the attention of the receptionist.

Location is excellent, safe and close to restaurants, bars and museums, as well as the tram taking you back to the city centre, close to the train station. My only criticism would be that the room doors tend to slam, the person in the room next to mine slammed their door early repeatedly in the morning and late at night so I recommend bringing earplugs. I missed having a kettle in the room, as an Irish person I like my tea early/late and not trying to figure out how to use the nespresso machine in the public hallway to get hot water, so even being able to request a kettle would be great. Very clean and comfortable stay. Recommended!

The check-in service is not bad, but the smiles are welcome, but this hotel room can only be heated by air conditioners or heaters. It is a noisy and uncomfortable to open a heater all night. If you don't need heating or air conditioning during the season, this hotel is a good choice. Note that European hotels do not have a slipper toothbrush and need to bring it.

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately not without issues. Upon arrival, there was an apparent payment error, requiring me to pay again on the spot, meaning I was charged twice. Thankfully, this was corrected the next day, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience. Additionally, the breakfast was disappointing, and our double room was only provided with one set of towels. The room itself was fine, but these shortcomings made the overall experience less enjoyable.
