Many small problems, the curtains fell off as soon as they were pulled, the bathroom exhaust fan could not be turned on or off (in order to say that the central control actually did not seem to be) The sound was oversized, and then I didn’t know how to turn on the hot water for a long time. The room is badly in need of renovations because the very old carpeted floor is uneven and bumpy. There is a smell in the room where I had to open the window to air.
The bathtub hot water is just barely warm. A report to the receptionist on my 3rd evening.. who suggested I change my room.
When I checked on the first day, the reception offered a room upgrade which I rejected after I went to the room because it was very dark and gave an uneasy feeling.

Hotel location is very easy to find, the room, bedding and bathroom supplies are very new and clean, arrived at the hotel early on the same day and checked in in advance, it really made the guests have a good experience. If you need to take a boat back to Vancouver in the morning, this hotel is a very good choice. It takes only 5 minutes from the hotel to the departure bay ferry terminal, which is very convenient. This hotel is a bit biased on Victoria Island. If it is not self-driving, it is very inconvenient. The hotel is relatively new. The facilities are relatively complete. There are hot springs. Facing a small lake, it was quite peaceful. There is a kitchen, but we don’t have time to cook by ourselves. The breakfast at the hotel is good, you can make your own waffles. The living space includes a comfortable sectional pull-out. Cozy up on the couch with a good book or a board game and enjoy this unique stay experience. There is a small tv with ChromeCast access so you are able to cast from your phone, tablet or computer any of your streaming sites. **NEW JUNE 2024** We have installed an awning that extends the length of the Tiny Home providing a covered area to dine and relax outside.The kitchen features a full sized fridge, microwave, gas stove and oven, electric tea kettle, French press, and all the cooking ware you'll need to create your delicious meals . We provide coffee, tea, as well as oat milk and sugar. We also supply general condiments for cooking – such as spices and olive oil.The generous sized bathroom comes equipped with all amenities including towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash & lotion. If you forget anything, let us know.The sleeping loft is accessible by a small staircase , from the living room. This space has a queen size mattress and comes with lots of light from pot-lights and side lamps. This hotel is under Marriott and is well managed by friendly staff at the front desk. Check-in and check-out are quick and smooth. Indoor guest car parking is just across the street for $9.45. The spacious rooms and bathrooms have significant counter areas decorated with bright lights. Ice machines are on every floor. Washing and drying machines are available for $3 each. The indoor swimming pool opens from 7am to 11pm, and the gym is open 24/7. The room is badly in need of renovations because the very old carpeted floor is uneven and bumpy. There is a smell in the room where I had to open the window to air.
The bathtub hot water is just barely warm. A report to the receptionist on my 3rd evening.. who suggested I change my room.
When I checked on the first day, the reception offered a room upgrade which I rejected after I went to the room because it was very dark and gave an uneasy feeling.

The staff from the moment I walked in the door were amazing. They were super polite and very helpful and very informative for all my questions and needs. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. I came there for a relaxing weekend and got just that. The restaurant and lounge staff were so nice and on the ball. It was very busy there but they never skipped a beat and always made me feel like I was the only one in the room. I was super impressed with this.
It was disappointing that there was no hot tub as it was dealing with repairs at the time, hey these things happen, but the pool was great and the workout room/gym was very impressive as well.
Location of this resort is amazing, honestly can’t get much better. Spectacular views on beachfront to one the most popular beaches in this region. What a beautiful spot!!
I feel like I can go on and on, all and all I had a great experience at the Bayside Resort and I will definitely be back soon!!

We had a fabulous meal in the onsite restaurant finished off with a 40 year old Fladgate for dessert. We walked for miles on the sand and the boardwalk and even got to get our Pickleball fix with several courts and welcoming locals adjacent to the hotel!
Once again, the Beach Club was a perfect distraction!
