Pros Very peaceful guest house, high above the hustle and bustle of busy Kandy. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. They provided us with a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC worked well and the water was nice and hot. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading our books in the morning, watching the sun rise. Amazing views. It was perfect for what we needed and excellent value for money. Cons Some ants in the room. But most places in Sri Lanka so far, we’ve had a similar experiences. Overall, would recommend to family and friends and would stay again. Thank you

It can only be said that there is a price and a price. This is especially true in large cities, especially in underdeveloped areas. advantage: 1. Built on a hill, in a small courtyard, the environment is good. Especially after comparing it with another one on the mountain, I felt even more so. 2. The restaurant is on the side of the mountain, overlooking the mountains. Nice common areas like living room. There is also an area with a wide variety of wines. 3. The front desk brother is more service conscious and will ask you if you want to have dinner, etc. Of course, this is an additional charge. Slot point: 1. Pick-up or meal, I did n’t tell me the charges and expenses in advance, they are calculated together at the check-out, but many items are charged. 2. The room is small and tide. There is no hot water in the bathroom and the shower is difficult to use. There are no sheets but blankets. I also see dirt on the small towel. 3. Some behavior of the front desk brother is already considered harassment

With a six-year-old child, the big bed is enough to sleep, very quiet, the bath water is a little small but enough. The scenery in the yard is very good, the opposite is the mountain, after the night, the stars are a little bit, and the family lights up. The decoration at home is elegant and I like it very much. There are two very handsome black dogs. The landlord is very graceful, the service is very intimate, breakfast and dinner are here to eat, very satisfied, the landlord will sit next to help you introduce the local food, will not help you to replace the taste. A wonderful home stay for family’s. Walking distance to city center and lake kandy also you can feed ducks and fish popcorn they gobble it up in seconds.Breakfast was wonderful my children loved it.The balcony was magical at sunset best stay in Sri Lanka I have had in a long time.

Seeing the family photos of her family, she has three children, her eldest son, who has graduated from college in Australia, the second child is a daughter, 21 years old, working as a clerk in Kangdi, and the third is a son. I'm in school. At 5:45 in the morning, through the window, I heard the rain in the mountains. We are a French family and had 2 rooms during 2 nights… we recommend you to stay at the villa49. Everything was fine. Location is very good ( 15/20 minutes walk from the city center), rooms are big, air conditioning works well and not noisy, food is excellent a little bit like a 5 star restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere with nice music.. Hoppers ( kind of « egg crepes made with rice water and cocunut milk) during the breakfirst were so delicious. We want to come back soon 😉

Extremely lucky to have found this small boutique hotel very close to Kandy. Room are beautiful and spacious, with amazing view from the balcony, bathroom spotless clean. The breakfast and dinner were spectacular experience: plate of fresh fruits, toasts, jam, eggs, sausagge, dhal curry, rotti etc For dinner we’ve enjoyed homemade soup, devil chicken, fried rice, dhal coconut curry, roasted potatos, mango chutney - all delicious. Definitely recommend to stay in the beautiful property and very kind staff that is very welcoming and helpful.
