We stayed couple of nights in this hotel with my family Very nice hotel situated in very good location.The hotel amenities are very good,,attached bathrooms,air conditioning,hot water,,,very large rooms,,the staffs are kind and helpful.Have car parking,,breakfast available on request.The beds are comfortable and clean.Have nets to protect you from Mosquitoes,,but I didn’t find any mosquito Or insects in the entire hotel.

I upgraded the room to the store, two beds, and it cost $28. This time I stayed at three hotels that paid for the store, which are one or two hundred higher than the online price, and it is better to pay the online payment. B&B is generally not good, but it is more appropriate to bargain in the off-season. This hotel is the most expensive hotel I have stayed in for the past few days. It costs 1100 RMB a night. It is more expensive than Marriott and the Heritage Hotel. The bathing water in the room is not hot. I don’t know if it is expensive in the ancient city.

This was a beautiful hotel. The location is great because it is inside the Galle Fort. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. There was air conditioning and a fan. The shower drain was a bit slow which caused the water to overflow a little. We only stayed here one night, but overall a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

A week after the explosion in Sri Lanka, it was discovered that this was a Muslim hotel when the gunmen inspected the vehicles in front of the door and the restaurant on the first floor. But the real stay is very good, comfortable and convenient. The bathroom lighting is designed with ingenuity. The most heartfelt thing is to check out and go out for a long time. The little brother in the hotel wearing a robe hit a tuk to catch up and return me to the balcony to charge. Mobile phone, thank you very much!

A good hotel with a score of 5 and a score of 5! The boss is very warm and very attentive. Let us take a look at the room, tell us about the use and precautions of the facility, and then ask what we like to eat the next day's breakfast and when to eat. The rooms are antique, well equipped and quite interesting. Book two rooms, one on the first floor is a double room, one on the second floor, a big bed room, in short, very satisfied with the room. The next day at breakfast, the boss and the waiter often came over and asked if they could eat well and add something. In fact, breakfast should be very good in the hotels that have been eaten! First, a plate of local fruit platters, including pineapple, banana, watermelon, papaya, mango, etc., a cup of fresh juice, then served the toasted bread and delicious jam and butter. Then, come up with staple food, roast eggs, sausage and onion. The whole hotel, the room is not much, but very warm. On the doorway corridor, sitting on the sofa, you can enjoy the waves of the Indian Ocean's blue Indian Ocean. You can blow the wind from the sea and enjoy the romantic Indian Ocean sunset. On the edge is the castle's sea defense wall, and the outside is the vast Indian Ocean! It’s very convenient to go out and stroll around to find food. Going out to the left is the famous lighthouse. A short walk is a flag rock. Many tourists will come here to enjoy the beauty of the sea and the local guys jumping from the high cliffs to the sea. Going to the right is better. Enjoy the beauty of the setting sun and the core area of Haiphong. On the edge is a seafood-based restaurant called Huang Shang Huang Seafood Restaurant, the owner is a young man from Jiangsu. The surrounding environment is quiet and safe. Overall, this is a hotel worth recommending to everyone! Don't look at the exterior, be sure to check into the hotel.

Начну с того, что приехали мы сегодня. Ранее я была в этом году на ШриЛанке и ,поэтому, выбор места этого отдыха был на подруге . Выбирали по отзывам. Пишу свой отзыв в сравнении с отдыхом в январе этого года в другой части острова. Для знатоков побережья Чёрного моря очень просто. Это Джемете. Для других подробнее. Унаватуна небольшой городок, полностью заточен на отдыхающих. Ближайший супермаркет с ценами для местных через 5 км., в Галле. Здесь же цены на фрукты завышены минимум в 2 раза. Пример. Папайя. Здесь 1 кг 600 рупий, в гипере 380 рупий. Банан мини Здесь 800, там 230 рупий. Кофе Здесь 700 рупий, около 2,5 долларов. Прямо, как раньше в Венеции. В кафе набор из : чикен, бургер, пиво, коктейль. Про хопперс, стритхопперс, роти и другую местную еду вообще не видно и не слышно. Рыба в очень ограниченном наборе, морепродуктов в обед ни в одном кафе на всей прогулочный улице нам не предложили ( это минимум 5 кафешек). Залив океана рядом. Зонтиков и пляжных полотенец нет. Теперь отель. Это тройка . Но даже двойку жалко выставить. Первое и главное. Расположение хуже нет. До воды 400 метров или около того. Своего пляжа конечно же нет. Отель на горке. Дорожка из камней. 100-150 метров дорожки в горку выложена камнями. Чемоданы придётся нести. Радости хозяина при нашем появлении заметно не было. Мы его звали и дозвались как то. Нас никто не встречал. Двое его молодых помощника очень красочно показали, что нужна благодарность за принесенные в номер чемоданы. Лучше бы они их от дороги донесли. Было бы за что дать денег. До основной дороги, где ходит местный автобус на Галле не менее 3 км. Да. Так далеко. Магазинов рядом, чтобы купить питьевую воду- нет. До море в пляжной одежде тоже не пройдёшь. На курортной улочке куча кафе и тук-туков. На пляже раздевалок нет. Слышимость в номере просто отличная. Все, что делают соседи , слышно. Общей зоны отдыха у отеля нет. И нет бассейна. Терасса есть . Только жарко на ней. И комары. Днем и ночью. Ещё у нас муравьи. Зелень вокруг. Но не для вас. Походить и посидеть на ней нет возможности. Видимо, она от другого отеля рядом. Да. Ещё очень важно. Я столкнулась впервые с грязным номером. Плед на кровати вонял немидосердно. Будто кто то очень потный в него неделю заворачивался. Стол с пятнами. Стала оттирать, оттирается, запах рыбы и консистенция чего то как мед. Естественно, шампуни, геля нет. В номере обилие светильников. Но они такие тусклые. Так что полутемно. Вот как то так.

I stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

Gayan and his team were amazing. I’ve not had such homely service like this before in all my travels! They all went above and beyond to cater to all my needs and questions. The breakfast spread was vast and memorable, days after leaving its still all I think about! The room was spacious enough for me, though, do note noise from the road could be a hindrance to super light sleepers. I’d advise you have a room not close to the road. The hotel is serene and calm, giving of a relaxed and natural vibe in a bustling area. The change is welcomed after a long day out on the beach with people. 10/10 would return!

We stayed at the 4 bed room penthouse. Absolutely stunning views. Sea on both sides. The apartment was furnished and also had all the amenities needed for a family of 10 to have all meals. The apartment is extremely spacious giving kids enough space to run around. The beach in front of the property is safe to go for a dip. There’s decent space for kids to enjoy the beach as well. The pool is cold as it always protected by the building’s shadow. But the kids enjoyed it regardless. Had a great memorable stay here. There’s a restaurant on the property. However we did not eat here. Just 10 mins by car to Galle fort.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, effective aircon & good WiFi. Superb location for the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Unawatuna. The family that run the guest house go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the Sri Lankan breakfast is an absolute delight. Just a house on the side of the road. There is a small swimming pool inside. The boss arranged a room with a large balcony for us. The owner's family is very warm and thoughtful. The reception for cooking is the boss's nephew, a handsome guy in his 20s. I ordered a seafood fried rice in the evening, 1,500 rupees. Bringing up such a big one, the two of us tried our best to eat without wasting it. There are also two pairs of Norwegian retired elderly people in the homestay. I have lived there for two weeks and have lived here several times. It can be seen how attractive this homestay is.

First of all, I really like this hotel. The owner is a designer. His thoughts are in every corner of the room, exquisite and clean. There is also a hotel and a tea shop. The owner is very kindly invited to visit. I can’t stop and keep taking pictures. Sure enough, the designer’s house is different. I get up in the morning to wash and go to have breakfast. It’s the kind of sitting down and asking your preferences. I will cook it for you on the spot. It’s really great. Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Enjoy the beauty of the setting sun and the core area of Haiphong. On the edge is a seafood-based restaurant called Huang Shang Huang Seafood Restaurant, the owner is a young man from Jiangsu. The surrounding environment is quiet and safe. Overall, this is a hotel worth recommending to everyone! Don't look at the exterior, be sure to check into the hotel.

I love this place and the people who own and run it. It’s a small family run business and I have stayed there every trip I have had to Sri Lanka. It remains my favourite of all places. I think I’ve been there 4 or 5 times. The food cooked by Sunita and Antica (not sure of the spelling) is, without a doubt, the best in Sri Lanka. Sanka is a marvellous driver and tour guide and the rooms are super clean and comfy. Koni and the entire family are generous, gorgeous souls who can’t do enough for you. I love it!

Initially, we thought we would be selfish and not share our thoughts on Ashen’s Beach house because we wanted to keep it all for ourself, but that wouldn’t be fair for the owners! We had 10 wonderful days and nights there. We were looking for an authentic beachside house away from the main tourist area, and this was truly it. The location is outstanding. A beach 100 yards from the door with very few people There. Sujana and her son Ashen could not have been more kind or helpful. Sujana cooked for us most nights and every meal was delicious. My husband needed a dentist and her son accompanied us to make sure we were ok. They have two beautiful dogs, generally I’m afraid of dogs but these 2 were so gentle (but also great guard dogs) it added to the feeling of security. Our room was spacious and bed super comfortable. We also booked an overnight safari trip which they organised for us. They agreed a very reasonable price (many people offering tours) and the trip was excellent. Dev the driver they recommend was safe, kind and helpful, he also did our airport transfers. If you’re looking for a western style hotel experience then don’t bother, but If you want to experience real Sri Lankan hospitality then Ashen’s is 10/10. We can’t wait for more holiday time to return.

Currently staying in Villa Gaetano this place is amazing.. Situated a short distance inland the location is perfect.. The family offer a complimentary tuk tuk service to Unawatuna and it is only 300 rps to get back.. The family who own the villa are lovely people and cannot help with your needs enough.. Food is delicious ( they even let my wife watch as part of a cooking demo) and delivered to your table outside your room.. I asked for a Scooter so we could get around.. They organised it.. In fact nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the deluxe room option and it was ideal.. Please if you are looking to enhance your Sri Lankan experience give this place a visit you will not be disappointed.. We were only staying for 2 nights originally but extended as we are enjoying it so much.. Well done to the owners if I could give it more than 5 stars I would..

Big loft with kitchen, amazing huge terrace to watch the sunset from. View on Unawatuna coast. In the jungle, a bit far from the center and the sea (10’ walk) but totally worth it. Keerthi and sujeewa are the nicest people we’ve met in Sri-Lanka (and all Sri-Lankans are very nice!), very helpful with everything and breakfast was delicious. Everything perfect, but if you are afraid of squirrels or open spaces in the jungle maybe you’d better stay by the seaside. If you love nature, want to wake up with birds singing, that’s the best place you can go in Unawatuna!! So sad to leave..

My Fiancé and I stayed here for one night and we Loved it. It's run by a lovely Local Couple and has a very home stay Vibe, but still gives you the privacy of a Guesthouse. The terrace is great to work on the Laptop or chill with beautiful view and fast Internet. The Food is much cheaper then at the Beach and Delicious. 10/10 points

The Tamara Motels,we just remember this name for the best place in Hikkaduwa. Before we went their we heard and read lots of comments and reviews about this motel. When we come over there we realized yes everything is true. We have stay for a three days for at this hotel. Stepping through the garden, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This is a family business doing by mother son his wife and cute little baby. They always greeting and smiling to us. They are very helpful and give us the best option for everything we need. The breakfasts were amazing. It is not like other breakfast we had. Bread toast and omlet in it. Its very delicious.The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to the tourists who want to go to Hikkaduwa. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

This is the hotel I stayed for the last night in Sri Lanka. The boss service is very good, but the interior decoration is average, the bath has no hot water, it is cold to death, and mosquitoes. I was awakened by mosquitoes at night. The outside environment is very good. Walk for 5 minutes. I went to the vegetable market and cooked some noodles by myself. Those who are not very demanding can choose to stay. By the way, the breakfast is very good, but I only ate a little.

We stayed here for two nights and were made to feel so at home . The hosts picked us up from the bus station and offered affordable taxi lifts and whatever time. We were recommended some great places to eat. The guesthouse was comfortable, great bed and big enough bathroom. Incredible value for money. Location: Follow the Google maps; if there is any confusion, call the front desk, they are accommodating. As soon as we entered, I fell in love with this property. We got quite a walk to our chalet (you can take your vehicle there too), and it was fabulous. We got a private pool, covered villa from a big wooden gate with a small green garden. The villa was nicely arranged with all the luxuries we expected. The Internet can be a little funny, so make sure you use their wifi. The bathroom was huge, and it got a tub, shower, and an outdoor shower as well. This place is ideal for a honeymoon or a private romantic getaway, or a perfect unwind time. Their food can be improved, that was the only concern we had. We had limited options, and they could certainly enhance the flavours. Other than that people are excellent, helpful and outstanding service too.
