Nos alojamos en este hotel por descarte. Se ubica frente a un polígono lo que no me convencía mucho, pero no había otro con disponibilidad. Las fotos parecian de un hostal nuevo y acogedor y al entrar a la recepción esa fue la sensación que me llevé, pero ésta cambió por completo al llegar a la habitación. Era minúscula, paredes, sucias, 2 camas pequeñas pegadas a la pared separadas por una mesita de noche daban el ancho justo de la habitación y una miniventana que daba a la terraza de una vecina que nos veía perfectamente. *Me parecio un robo 100€ la noche para 2 pers. En este hostal, no volveré.

Ease of check in left our bags at 11.00 as we couldn't get until 4.00 the concierge peaks very good English said he would phone when room was ready. Had a few ours sight seeing and shopping. The room was Fabulous we paid extra to have the roof terrace well worth it, we sat outside watching the world go by while having a few drinks. In the room was a list of restaurants listed by what they offered and price. While we were there we tried three of the restaurants amazing and a local bar. Plenty of hot water nice fluffy towels they do not change towels or sheets unless you ask and there is a charge, not sure if its different if you stay a week The one thing that stops it having 5* is you have to take your rubbish outside to the nearest public bin and hope its not full as we found on our last morning and my husband had to go to the next street to find a bin not good at 8.00am.

I chose this Hostal for the location. My expectations were that this would be a place to sleep and maybe do some work (came for a workcation). But the Hostal was so much better than expected! My room was pretty small, but had a bed, desk, TV, closet and sink. Free Wi-Fi. The whole place was clean and pretty modern. Friendly staff. The location is 10/10. You’re in the middle of my favorite street: Calle Larios. Short walk to everything you’d need. The ocean, the cathedral, Alcazaba, old town, El Corte Ingles, restaurants, stores ++ I stayed for 4 nights. The only reason I would not choose this is for longer stays as I personally like to have a fridge to keep water etc. But we’ll definitely come back her for shorter trips! ❤️

I am reluctant to review this accommodation as it's one of those places you would like to keep for yourself and a few close friends. The Debambu has two buildings and we were in the separate building but this was not a problem. The rooms are modern, clean and well laid out. Everything for a self-catering stay was at hand, It is situated in the centre of the old town and is close to all the major tourist sights, restaurant and bars, not forgetting the shops. Absolutely loved this part of Malaga and the Debambu. Thank you Antonio for making are very limited stay so enjoyable.

Generally a good experience. Comfortable bed and sofa. Good shower and toilet facilities. The kitchen area was adequate but small. Two unit induction hob, needed a steel plate to use the aluminium non stick frying pan (provided) Only worked really well on the back element meaning reaching over the pot on the front element. That aside - Very happy to recommend the COEO apartments. Not dead central, to the historic centre but very close. Possibly a benefit as Malaga is a late night city with a lot of people out till way later than Carolyn and I are up at night. Would have been a 5 out of 5 but for the slightly smaller than ideal kitchen facilities. All the plates, cutlery pots etc more than sufficient. If you’re looking for a spacious well maintained -semi apartment to come home to after a weary day in a great city, look no further. Would we come back to COEO apartment hotel, YES

Fantastic location, very well kept apartment, it was spacious and staff were on hand for any questions/immediate assistance. Value for money is fantastic given how central you are. 20 mins from airport in a private transfer taxi. The property itself has no staff on site and it’s very much an airB&B set up where you access your keys from a safety deposit box. Apart from a slight leak under the sink, I have no issues. There are some building works taking place at the back of the apartment building which might wake up anyone that likes a long lie, although I appreciate that would only be temporary. All in all I would highly recommend feel at home apartments Malaga as a place to stay for your city break.

When we landed in Malaga I got a WhatsApp message explaining what I had to do to check in, including codes and I could even send a picture of passports to speed things up at the other end. Very easy to find the Suites, just a few seconds from the Picasso Museum. Check in was swift - greeted by a pleasant lady who took payment, explained a few bits and checked us in quickly. We were on the first floor - all the rooms are themed around Picasso, our apartment had some Picasso style wall art which was very quirky - I assume all of the apartments have these - a nice touch. Both the main entrance door and the door to your apartment all work off codes - which is a bit strange at first for those used to carrying around a key or a key card.- you need nothing other than the code. The apartments themselves are large - perfect for two, maybe even three, four might be crowded. It has everything you'd want - fridge/freezer, cooking hob, microwave, utensils - even a washing machine for those on long stays. Only thing lacking in ours was an iron - however a quick trip to reception sorted this out with no fuss. There was a lovely Juliet balcony out onto the Main Street below - a great view and nice to hear the hustle and bustle below though light sleepers might be less pleased with this. Noise wasn't an overly big problem though we were there in February - at the height of summer I imagine it could get rowdy. There was a big double bed and a sofa bed - both very comfortable. Bathroom was small but functional - nothing special but did the job. The location is fantastic - you are literally seconds away from the Picasso Museum (worth a visit!) and a short walk talks you to plenty of side streets with little tapas bars. It's such a nice vibe at around 9pm at night with everyone walking around, particularly if its still a bit warm. If I was to visit Malaga again, I'd happily stay here. Very much recommended.

In the end of April and beginning of May we, a couple, spent altogether 5 nights in Malagas Casa de la Merced Suites. The first part, 27 April to 29 April, had been booked through ***********, and the second part, 6 May to 9 May, was booked directly from the hotel. It can be said that the first part of two nights cost us €165, and the second part was much more expensive, with €330 for three nights. The hotel has an outstanding location, very central to bars and restaurants. It is an old building that is now refurbished. It can be a bit noisy at night from the street, which we noticed, as we had a studio facing the street the first two nights. The second time we had a smaller room at a higher price. At the back of the building, near the cleaner's room, and facing the back of a church. You could say the standard of the smaller room didn't match the price. It was much quieter but much darker. The first things that had to be fixed in this second ròom was the electricity, and the curtains. The dark curtains keeping the lights out at night on one of the two windows were missing. Fixed by the kind cleaning lady. She also fixed the missing cloth bands that should keep the curtains apart in the daytime. The table for eating was difficult to sit at, being blocked by an old second fridge placed under the table. Which we ourselves were forced to place in the hallway. Actually, I've seen one review from 12 March, saying it was already there in the room. We were told the second room was for disabled persons, and the shower was big, but with non-functioning sliding doors, not closing. A lot of water runs out after showering. The cleaning was somewhat non-functioning. We were told it could happen only after 3 days, so we had none. There was not even any cleaning tools/brooms for us to use. Generally, the bed mattresses were a little on the soft side. And the second room was definitely a little uncomfortable, with a TV that was turned away from the bed. There was very little storage space, only an open shelf. Well, we paid for a superior apartment and found that for the low comfort, it was a rip-off. We were told there was no other room to get. The free minibar in the reception area was a good thing. But breakfast does not exist in this place. When it comes to the persons working in the hotel, we found the cleaning lady to be very kind. But the reception staff were not so pleasant, or welcoming.

La profesionalidad y el cariño en el trato, su emplazamiento en la ciudad, relación calidad-precio óptima, las habitaciones estupendas así como el resto de las instalaciones, la información y ayuda que te dan desde antes de llegar (transportes, enlaces para aeropuerto, líneas de bus urbano que quedan cerca)… y así un largo etcétera. Mi marido y yo somos viajeros exigentes y no nos gusta cualquier cosa. Leemos las críticas de Trip Advisor con interés y por eso creemos que es imprescindible que El Riad Andaluz sea valorado con la máxima puntuación.

Views were stunning, very beautiful. A little awkward to find if you are using public transport, and not recommended if you are elderly due to the steep hill. It was very clean and the owner was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. My children loved the pet meerkat. Shared kitchen with basic necessities such as water/coffee. Our room was quite small but had a beautiful bathroom. I think if we were to stay again we would go in summer to make full use of the beautiful gardens and pool.

I chose this Hostal for the location. My expectations were that this would be a place to sleep and maybe do some work (came for a workcation). But the Hostal was so much better than expected! My room was pretty small, but had a bed, desk, TV, closet and sink. Free Wi-Fi. The whole place was clean and pretty modern. Friendly staff. The location is 10/10. You’re in the middle of my favorite street: Calle Larios. Short walk to everything you’d need. The ocean, the cathedral, Alcazaba, old town, El Corte Ingles, restaurants, stores ++ I stayed for 4 nights. The only reason I would not choose this is for longer stays as I personally like to have a fridge to keep water etc. But we’ll definitely come back her for shorter trips! ❤️
