|1.92km from city centerI like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

|1.29km from city centerFrom the bottom of my heart, please do not waste your money on this place. Look somewhere else. We are a family with a ten year old and 6 month old baby. Entry - pretty straight forward for us, we had a text message with instructions. Once we were in - the living area had a sofa that was pulled out into a bed for us. That’s fine. But there’s then no living area. Or room to swing a cat. Bathroom, there was mould in the shower. The most ridiculous cups for your coffee that also takes 6 years to pour. There’s no cleaning facilities like a sweeping brush so your constantly walking over natural dirt that’s been brought in from outside and having to wipe your feet before getting into bed. No cot was given to us even though one was requested through booking.com. We had high hopes from other reviews that the communication was good, however, I messaged to ask for more cups and an iron but we were left on two blue ticks on WhatsApp. Messaged for help with getting to the airport at 2am - no response. Actually they were pretty rude when they did reply. No one was seen to help us anywhere. The view was stunning once you got into the communal area, that was probably the only highlight. And that it’s right next to the waterbus stop Please spend your money on a better place so that you have a nicer experience of Venice because this place has really ruined a family trip for us.

|0.9km from city centerWe checked in here briefly about Air BnB during our Italian holiday. The accommodation is very central, in a quiet location very close to the train station. The newly renovated Venetian style is unrecognised and still technically updated by air conditioning, refrigerator and Wi-Fi. The guests are very nice and there are both local restaurants and a supermarket in the area. We have enjoyed it very well. Only suggestions for improvement: at breakfast breads would have been beautiful and the refrigerator was too hot set. But these are little things. When we stay next night in the beautiful laguna city we will certainly come back

|1.37km from city centerIt was an awful experience ! I have stayed to more than 600 hotels in my life and it’s the first time, I meet people that own a hotel but know nothing about hospitality and customer service!I made the reservation&sent them email informing them that I would be at the hotel late at night.I send also my flight details&my exact time of arrival .When I arrived at the hotel the first thing that the receptionist told me(later I found out that this guy was one of the owners)is that we were really late and he was waiting for us 4 hours as the reception closes 22:30.He was really hostile, arrogant and upset! It’s the first time in my life that I felt so bad in a hotel! The room was dark with no view. It was a small room ( about 20m2 ),whereas we had booked the superior room of 30m2.Generally it was an old fashioned room, with moldy smell , with no elevator so we had to carry our 2 heavy luggage 2 floors up.In our3days stay we found out that all family was rather indifferent & rude with customers !At the check out they asked us to pay 50€as an extra charge as the brother of the owner had to stay 4 hours waiting for us !!The brother which is one of the owners(not an employee!)When we denied,as we were never informed about this extra charge or never was written at the extranet of *******,they started yelling&insulting us so we were forced to pay as we were afraid they would harm us- all family came and yelling!Too bad that those people work in the tourist sector and have no idea of what hospitality&caring mean!! If you have stayed in professional and luxury hotels you will find out that people that work in this hotel , it would be better to work in field rather than in a hotel as there are not educated at all . The room was small , old fashioned and had a moldy smell . We paid 350€ per night for a shabby place ! Please do not go and stay there . You will lose your money

|1.48km from city centerOnce you get out of the train station, you can take the water bus. At the second stop, we dragged the suitcase and walked for 5 or 6 minutes to find the hotel. The hotel is small, but the suite has two rooms and two bathrooms, which are in line with the requirements of family or friends, and can be left alone in a single room. The hotel’s classical architecture is very comfortable and the breakfast is fully satisfying. #绝佳位置# #fully equipped#

|2.13km from city centerThe hotel is very confortable with air conditioning and Room No 24 was very large and had a great bathroom with shutters onto a course yard. I could have done with a long mirror in the bedroom and a few more shelves or places to put our toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and their was a fridge with complementary water. I would recommend you take your own hairdryer, the one provided over heated and had a little power. The shower was good and they do provide shampoo and conditioner. The only problem with this room, I found although quiet through the night, the staff cupboard is right next door to it and the staff use the hallway to prepare breakfast and sort laundry so they are up and about early and wake you up. This hotel is very old and has a lot of stairs so not for the mobility challenged. Great location though and their is a good cafe round the corner for breakfast although they do offer breakfast in the hotel for 10 euro's.

|1.55km from city centerThis was the best place we stayed at in Italy! Really pretty and big with all the essentials you need. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had everything including free snacks, juice, soda, water, tea, coffee and fruits. They also provide us we slippers, lotion that smells really good, bathroom essentials and other things we didn’t find in a lot of other hotels/airbnbs. The service was phenomenal and the people here are so friendly. We were presented with some welcoming gifts and lots of help during our stay. This hotel also has its own private dock which was very convenient for us to go to the train station with a booked private water taxi through the hotel. The taxi brings us right to the side in front of the station and we didn’t have to carry our luggages up the stairs and across the bridge had we gone on a public water taxi (the price is pretty close). Definitely recommend and would come back again next time in Venice!

|2.1km from city centerWe booked four nights and had a lovely large room, room only, overlooking canal. Large airy pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Clean good linen. Great bathroom. Hot water . All very clean and in good condition We had tea and coffee and biscuits and complimentary toiletries. All replenished. Room cleaned daily. There was a kitchen with fridge and toaster and hob etc which I assume was for general use. The arrangement is you call staff to check in if you are outside their regular slots. You need to call a mobile. Don't think front door bell was working. It's an odd arrangement trying to get hold of staff by phone especially if you don't speak Italian. But they are very helpful and obliging indeed when you manage to communicate. Would definitely recommend this as a good option for all reasons above plus its central location, and it's near San Marco. We managed to get very lost every day and Google maps don't seem to give answers so do orientate yourself

|2.89km from city centerWe just returned from a 4 night stay at Porta da Mar Venezia. The location in unbeatable, just a few minutes walking to the Biennale Giardini and Biennale ****nal. Only 15 min walking from San Marco, so you are not in the overcrowded toeristmasses. The Junior suite with Lagoonview was very comfortable. The quality of beds , linen and towels is first class. The bathroom very tastfull and good working, so was the airco. A minibar , coffee and thea fascilities, and everything spotless clean and fresh and new. If the windows are open you have direct awsome view to the water. There is ofcourse some noise from the boats and waterlife, but the windows are very good soundproofing, so we’ve had a very silent peaceful nightrest. Giampaulo, the owner is a most friendly and kind person, and he gave us al kind of info and tips. The small place with only six rooms on the first floor is a real oasis in busy and crowded Venezia. Downstairs there is a litlle bar with terras, so from the early morning till 22.00 u you can go there for a coffee, breakfast, drinks and meals. Very reasonable priced. Compiments for the friendly girl who cleaned our room everyday. Perfect! So we felt very happy at this place, and we can strongly recommend this place. If you are looking for a fine welltasted and goodpriced room on a wonderful location. The Via Girabaldi is just 50 m away with a lot of terrasses and restaurants. We definitely will return. Grazie Giampaulo 👍🤩👍🤩👍🤩👍🖐🥂 Ignatius and Stefan from Belgium

|1.65km from city centerMy wife and I traveled to Italy for two week in October . Our trip started in Venice and we spent 4 days and 3 nights @ Ca Rialto House Hotel . The hotel in located steps away from Rialto bridge and the water taxi is located steps away form hotel front door The hotel is very old as our most things in Venice , the lobby is nice , the staff is wonderful and go out of their way to to take care of their guest Are room was on the small side , we had 2 Windows that over looked an alley , so not much of view . Room was decorated in traditional Old Italian decor , it was reallnice and I came to appreciate it more and more . We had nice bathroom , shower had lots of water pressure and hot water . The AC worked fantastic I mentioned the room ws on smaller side , but once we organized our suits cases it was more than ample space . We were out all day and if the afternoons we would come back and enjoy our room . The hotel offered a nice breakfast every morning , and there were 2 or 3 restaurants and coffee bars right outside of the front door Hotel is centrally located at rialto bridge , it is an easy walk to San Marks square and other areas of Venice . We venture to the neighborhoods across the Rialto bridge , we found lots of great restaurants and cafes with a lot less tourist . Overall we loved our stay at Ca Rialto and would definitey stay here again The also have outside deck that offers a view of the Grand Cannel , great spot to bring bottle of wine and drink on the deck and enjoy the view

|1.67km from city centerAn ideal location only a few minutes walk away from the Rialto Bridge our apartment was in a block not far from Hotel Ai Reali. We went there first to check in and get our key. We had a fabulous welcome from a front of house person and were given a map, some very helpful information and that was very much appreciated. We were helped with our bags to our apartment, settled in and shown where things were. It was a great way to have an additional bed without the cost of an extra hotel room. We were impressed with the lovely European styling of the apartment and excellent facilities - a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave. Our bins were emptied each day, we were there for 3 nights and felt safe, secure.

Venice
|1.04km from city centerWe stayed here for 3 nights early September for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was the first time we’d been to Venice and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Before I write the hotel review, I would like to highlight to travellers that haven’t been to Venice before and perhaps aren’t aware of how the travel works to and from the airport that no cars are allowed onto the Venice island. We weren’t aware of this before we travelled and paid €90 (£80) for a taxi that drops you at the termini. You then head over a very large bridge and walk to your hotel. I would recommend that you take the bus from the airport which takes the same length of time for around €11 (£10). The buses leave the airport terminal frequently. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the termini. I would recommend paying the £2 roaming fees (check price with your network provider) as it would have been impossible to find the hotel without- we arrived quite late at night. We had let the hotel know that we would be arriving late and they arranged for a member of staff to be there to greet us. The hotel is small, with very few rooms, but lovely and very comfortable. Our bedroom had a balcony that looked onto the canal- not sure all rooms do, so definitely ask if this option is available as the view was beautiful in the morning. Although the room also overlooked the streets it was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed. Breakfast was tasty- it was a cold breakfast of cereal, yogurt, meats, cheese, rolls and pastries and the coffee was delicious! There are lots restaurants and bars close to the hotel. You will find that a lot of them around lunch and dinner will not serve drinks only- you will need to search out these places that will. A lot of people tend to head towards the Grand Canal for meals. You will pay extra in these places and to be honest they aren’t as nice as the cute quirky places around the side streets. There is a very small pizza/pasta place with canal side eating, close to the hotel called Al Garzoti. It’s highly rated on trip advisor and was delicious and cheap- it gets very busy so you will need to book. We didn’t take a gondola, but there are plenty of these available. If I remember rightly a 30 minute ride was around €70. We did take one of the boat trips to a couple of the neighbouring islands- I would definitely recommend seeing Burano. The colourful houses and buildings are so pretty! These boat rides are pretty reasonably priced. Enjoy your trip to Venice! :)

|1.34km from city centerWe spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in mid-November. We often return to this facility because it is comfortable for anyone who wants to live in Venice and elegant. The bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious enough. The only discomfort the rough stairway to get to the first floor is the discomfort to do with the baggage in hand. For the rest we recommend it to all especially to couples visiting the Serenissima.

|1.02km from city centerThis hotel is located in a great part of Venice that is incredibly walkable to all of the big landmarks and to so so many local restaurants. While many reviews say it is hard to find - it is not. Google walking instructions TOTALLY WORK. Look at signs on the buildings - they are small but there. The hotel e-mailed me AND WhatsApp messaged me before the stay to make sure I filled out the visitor paperwork / information they need. The hotel then e-mailed me the codes to get in to the building and our room. They do have someone on site - the house keeper is there in the morning through around 2:00 pm. There is no breakfast that we could see but we did not pay for one. The room was comfortable, the location fantastic, and we were very happy with our stay.

|1.58km from city centerEverything you read about Ca’Maria Callas is true - the fantastic location, elegant rooms, helpful and friendly employees, great breakfast, and magical atmosphere created by the church bells and singing gondoliers passing by your window on the picturesque canal beneath. We arrived late so nobody was on duty at this time. However, clear instructions had kindly been sent to us via phone by Chiara so this was not a problem. We did not get the actual room I’d seen online with small balcony - but I soon realised that this was because we’d been given a newly refurbished one. This was the occasion of my 60th birthday, and thoughtful touches such as this and the complimentary gift received were both surprising and greatly appreciated. (Note: For the info of any older guests, I have been remiss in not taking photos inside, but would just point out that the bedroom of this particular room was quite dark and there was a fairly steep staircase leading to the bathroom above). The bed was extremely comfortable and WiFi very efficient, whilst the bathroom upstairs was clean, lovely and light, modern, and well equipped - and it too overlooked the canal, which I had not anticipated so this was an added bonus! Breakfasts were substantial and delicious and the waitresses warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I have mislaid the name of the young man on Reception, but he was exceptional. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him, and he made everything so easy when answering our questions with a smile. He also recommended a great spot for hiring a gondolier for my special birthday gondola ride, which was just perfect! This property really does have something special in my opinion - you feel instantly at home in this traditional building with its internal courtyard, downstairs door opening directly onto a canal, and warm hospitality. Despite being in the San Marco area within such easy walking distance of vaporetto stops and lively restaurants and bars, its quiet and peaceful location tucked away behind La Fenice Theatre is such that it makes you feel as if you’re in the very heart of am authentic local area of Venice!

|1.28km from city center**A Glowing Review of Ca' Pagan Hotel in Venice** Located the heart of Venice, Ca' Pagan Hotel was an enchanting retreat that blended traditional Venetian charm with modern luxury. From the moment we stepped into the elegant foyer adorned with exquisite Murano glass chandeliers, we were transported to a world of opulence and sophistication. The accommodation at Ca' Pagan Hotel is authentic and divine. Our room was tastefully decorated in a classic Venetian style, with sumptuous fabrics, ornate furnishings, and breathtaking views of the picturesque canals. The staff at Ca' Pagan Hotel are the epitome of hospitality, providing attentive and personalized service that exceeds expectations, their genuine warmth and professionalism truly elevated our experience. They were all lovely and genuine to us from the text messages welcoming us to Venice when our plane landed, to checking when we were due to arrive so they would stay up to welcoming us in to the hotel. |1.67km from city centerBeautifully presented, authentic little hotel right on the edge of the canal. We chose a room facing the canal and didn't regret it - when else would you get to waken up to see gondolas sail past your window from your 4 poster bed? There's still a possibility of enjoying this view if you have a city facing view as there is one table in the dining room for breakfast that allows you to overlook it while enjoying your boiled egg and toast too. Felt so pampered here with the owner even messaging me ahead of arrival as aware of dietary needs (coeliac) and having options at breakfast for me. Would definitely stay again. it is a perfect location if you want to visit the islands (Murano, Burano) as the water taxi for these is just round the corner.

|0.89km from city centerThis was a reasonably priced property for Venice which a friend recommended. It looked spacious and clean in the pictures. The room was small, serviceable but dark. It has a quite convenient location in the Cannaregio. The hotel suggested we hire a porter at the train station to cart our 5 pieces of luggage- big and small- as we were at the end of a four week trip. We paid him 40 euros plus a 5 euro tip to cart them upstairs to the room since there is no elevator in the building. At least that worked on the way to the hotel. On our last day we had to lug our suitcases down the slippery steps in the rain. Not fun. One of the staff made dinner reservations on Mother’s Day for us and also ordered roses for my husband to give me on my birthday. But there were other staff who didn’t know a lot of helpful tourist information like the water taxi schedule to the airport. We had to pull that information out of the young woman at night who, though very sweet, had very poor English. Why not have that schedule printed and handy for guests? The breakfast was 10 euro. They ran out of scrambled eggs, had no fresh pastry and just doughy white bread. Cappuccino good. Just ate there the first day. No tissues in the room and there was an annoying strobe light that kept going off over the door. I dislike bedspreads that others have used and prefer clean top sheets with duvets. There were a couple of holes in the sheets we had. However the room was clean with no smell. Perhaps we had one of the smaller, less interesting rooms at the inn. Some of the pictures look more spacious. Be sure to ask what you are going to get though. And remember, there is no elevator. As with many hotels, there is only someone on duty 8 am-7:30 pm. We enjoyed our stays at the hotels booked by our weeklong tour and should have searched for a comparable one more befitting of a special birthday.

|1.33km from city centerTrusting a stranger on the internet is a very laughable idea, I know—but I am one of those people who goes to Venice at least every two years for work, for a famous week in May. In total, I have been to Venice about 12 times in my life, and I've stayed at Cipriani, The Bauer and The Gritti, the list goes on... Andrea's B&B has actually been my favorite stay. Why? Andrea is a gem, beyond helpful, funny, kind and communicative. The room was spacious, clean, free of ghosts (iykyk), the bed didn't sag down to the floor, no mold in the bathroom or behind picture frames, coffee in the room, and the breakfast was insanely generous. My room was also stylishly appointed, and had mindful amenities for travelers who may have forgotten a toothbrush or a shoe-horn. The B&B is also truly and I mean TRULY, perfectly located. Everything is accessible by foot (ok maybe not Murano, but Fondamenta Nova isnt too bad of a walk). I always have to haul over to the Giardini and it took me 22 minutes, and that my friends is considered a hop, skip and a jump for Venice. I've already told Andrea that I am pre-booking for two years from now because it has been the most comfortable, nicest price, and perfectly located accommodation I've stayed in. It really makes a difference when you're in La Serenissima, which is one of the world's greatest wonders but a city with a unique logistical reality. Surely you've tuned out by now in this review, but if you haven't, and one of Andrea's rooms is available, just do it. It's such a deeply comfortable B&B.

A kitchen that could not cook standing. If you measure 1.60 you are certainly okay, but if you are high@, forget. A room without lift, though ll of the lifts is something normal there. But the full, is that with towels put dressing or coats, I still don't know it was. We asked for change but they said they were complete and said this, they are towels (for them).

|2.05km from city centerWe recently stayed at this hotel and we have to say it was an exceptional experience. We had a room overlooking the canal…just magical! This room was extremely large not only for European standards, but also for American standards. As others have said, Rami the owner is a colorful character. He made us feel so welcome and truly made our stay enjoyable. We ate dinner in the restaurant located within the hotel on 2 evenings. Not only was the food exceptional, but there was live music. We didn’t want our dinner to end. We loved the location of this hotel. It was far enough way from all the tourists, but close enough to the tourist sites. About a 7-9 min walk to St. Mark’s Square. There is also a supermarket and laundermat close by. We would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a hotel. We will definitely stay here again on our return visit to Venice.
