I was in Guangzhou for a visa interview, and the location was incredibly convenient – just a few minutes' walk away. What truly surprised me about the room wasn't its aesthetic, but that it actually came with seasonings and a full set of pots and pans! It was truly small but perfectly equipped. I've stayed in other guesthouses that advertised cooking facilities, but they were usually impractical or just for aesthetics, not actual use.
With a fruit shop next door, and the room even providing salt (for soaking fruit) and a knife (for cutting), it made grocery shopping and meals super convenient. While there are apartments across the street, I much preferred the airy and well-ventilated feel of this place. Looking at the apartments opposite from my balcony, I saw they had big windows but couldn't be opened. What's the point of that? Cleanliness, hygiene, and good value are what really matter.
Regarding the service aspect, the staff's attitude was superb, and communication was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a place, and I'll certainly be back myself.

The room offered direct, stunning views of the Canton Tower! I hadn't realized this when booking, so it was a delightful surprise. Especially on such a sweltering day, not having to brave the crowds outside and being able to enjoy the spectacular view right from our apartment's balcony and even the room was just perfect.
