We left our booking until the week before we left the UK (3 weeks before we got to El Nido) so there was not much availability in El Nido when we looked. We booked this place as it seemed to be the best of a bad bunch, but actually we were very pleasantly surprised! The room was nice, clean and big enough for the two of us. We were there for 3 nights, and the room wasn't cleaned but there was a sign saying the rooms would be cleaned on request. There are fantastic views of El Nido's famous mountains from the breakfast balcony. The location is very convenient, about 2 minutes walk from the beach, and quiet enough that you don't hear all the bars on an evening. Breakfast is included with a range of Filipino and western options available. The only thing that could be improved was that the WiFi didn't quite reach our room so we had to stand on the landing if we wanted to use it.

The superior apartment is perfect for a family. It is right by the ferry port and close to all the restaurants and shops, but is at the quiet end. The WiFi isn't the best but that was good because it meant the kids weren't on their phones all the time! The shower was either super hot or cold, but again not really a problem because who wants a hot shower in 30⁰C+ heat?? Lovely local people living near by too. We loved our stay here.

Convenient location, very quiet area, although close to all the necessary places. If you live closer to the beach, there is constant noise. They gave us everything we needed. We were allowed to use the refrigerator. Minus - no parking. We had to leave the car on the road, we were worried about it.

I had very nice stay in Ashok homestay honestly because of the owner. My stay was in February 2017 during valentine week. The hotel is at the center of the city, accessible to restaurants, clubs and beach. The location of the hotel is just perfect even during late evening. The room is clean, bathroom is clean. The wifi is weaker inside the room but very good at the lobby. I have no complaints during my stay. The owner of the property is kind, humble, approachable, helpful and smiling face nice guy. He is always ready to help in suggesting restaurants, beach, shopping areas. He even offered us to cook breakfast (bread omelette) in his kitchen which was a kind gesture often not found. He was flexible with checkin-checkout time. I would highly recommend Ashok homestay for the best beachy exploration and a cost effective vacation.

This review is long overdue. We stayed here for about 5 days after taking a boat from Coron. Location: close enough to walk easily to the heart of the city and beach, without being stuck in the hustle and bustle of the tourists. It’s just 2 streets, maybe a 4-5 min walk into the town and about 10-15 to hit the beach. Rooms: spacious, exactly what you see on the photos. The view from the 2nd floor middle room was awesome. I know a few reviews mentioned the 3rd so we considered asking to see if it was open, but our view was perfect. The balcony was great too, spend the mornings there packing for the day. Staff: Super friendly staff and owners. This was actually probably our most memorable part because the owners were always available and happy to chat with us about our plans, tours, or get/find us things to do. They have someone on staff at the gate all day/night which was cool. The owners even saw us walking to the mountain area to do the climb and picked us up on their scooters and dropped us off. Thanks for the great time, recommendations and making everything feel easy and accessible.

The property has everything what you need, and they match Philippines standard of accommodation, even with blackout the hotel provided basic electricity in the room. The breakfast here was good and always made fresh, the room was in a decent size with small computer/beauty desk. the stuff is really helpful and they can help you to arrange tours and tourists attractions in competitive prices. it was so nice to have a freedom here and also in the shared kitchen to prepare food by yourself. Unlimited coffee and water is a big +. location is also good because it is a walking distance to the Town and the Corong Corong beach, nearby plenty of small shops. The hotel is quite outdated and the power generator during blackout was quite loud, unfortunately during our stay the Wi-Fi router burner out I general nice place good owner and stuff

I really enjoyed staying at Coco Garden! But you must understand that these are bamboo houses, essentially huts, inside of which there is a bed under a mosquito net. The houses are basically in the jungle, so geckos, ants, etc. can run in. But behind the mosquito net you won’t be afraid of them! But unity with nature is 100%! The house has a shower and toilet. Fan. Every morning a simple and delicious breakfast. WiFi worked flawlessly. And the employee Lamy was so friendly that she smoothed out all the shortcomings! It is best to immediately rent a scooter, because the nearest beach and the town of El Nido are a bit far away on foot. The stay turned out to be very authentic! I'm happy!

I am very grateful to their staff here, they are very kind and diligent and they are very attentive to us and their other guests. even early in the morning if you need something, they will give it to you right away, and especially on the birthday of one of our friends, they even made an effort to design a happy birthday on the wall, they even printed a picture. ​I have a feeling that the worst room might have been allocated to me. ＞_＜ There is no hot water shower (This should be applicable to all rooms) Pull switch of fun doesn’t work The lamp of a bedside table was dead Mosquito nets are equipped to the windows and the door but there is a gap between the net and door frame etc. The door doesn’t shut properly. Toilet flush is broken. Pail of bucket is provided. Although the cottage is old, I like the concept. It is really located right next to the cliff. There is public space in the center. This property looks like a really cute cottage. There is a big table and a coffee table in front of your room, which is all yours. You can have to-go food there and drink coffee. Boiled water is provided every morning in thermos​ to each room​ but bring your own coffee as there is no amenity except small soap bars. The wall is very thin and it might be too noisy for some of you. The first night I stayed there was really noisy as there was a Karaoke party ​behind​ the cottage. It lasted till 2200. Also you will have to hear the conversation in the next room. Luckily a solo traveller stayed in the next room for some nights out of my entire stay so I didn’t need to hear anything from the next room. The sound of the toilet flush and shower might bother you. There is no TV and AC in the room but there are 3 AC rooms that cost more than 1,000 pesos per night. They have wifi but the signal is very weak. My iPhone picked it up but my laptop wouldn’t connect to the internet. There is a kiosk onsite. It is only 50 pesos away from the bus station (I arrived from Puerto Princesa by Cherry Bus)​ and walkable to the beach. I believe that every hotel in El Nido would have brown water, so just be ready for brown water. After I booked some nights from AGODA, I sent queries to the property but I got a very unfriendly and not-useful response after several chases. Service/hospitality isn't good. Don't expect it.​ When I had some issues about S-Pass, no one would help me. I heard that management changed at some point but I don't know when exactly.

El Nido doesn’t provide much in regards to accommodation, everything seems pretty basic, but you should be prepared for that before you come here. Yes you will struggle with wifi, yes you may struggle with water pressure, yes you might see some insects on your room but that isn’t just one place that is ALL places in El Nido. Overall our stay here was good, it was clean, comfortable, fan and air con too. Room cleaned daily and towels refreshed. My only issue was that it was a little bit noisy being on the main road and there’s very little to do in Corong Corong but other than that I would go back

Floresitas impresses with a quiet location right by the sea. If you want to switch off for a few days and focus on the essentials, this is the right place for you (if there isn't construction going on next door or the generator is running - both of which were completely bearable). In one of the log cabins (without AC) or (in our case) rooms with air conditioning, the most necessary things are available: a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Our room was relatively clean, I don't understand why the mirrors in the Philippines never seem to be cleaned. In addition, the water from the tap is rather brownish and is not recommended for washing. Right in front of the room door: white, fine sand that stretches from the sea over the entire complex. Many hammocks and seating areas invite you to linger. The WiFi throughout the property was the best we've had since arriving in the Philippines. The food was also really, really tasty - Gemma goes out of her way to fulfill her guests' wishes. Speaking of guests: here too you have more peace and quiet - we were apparently the only ones in the complex on two out of three nights (over the weekend). But there are a few things you can do: rent a kayak cheaply at the resort and explore the area yourself, go snorkeling, firefly watching from another resort a few 100 meters away, or book a private boat trip through Ursulas Resort (neighboring resort). The hosts also try to help as best they can, but sometimes there was a lack of mutual communication. But in the end, with their help, we were able to be picked up in the van right from our front door. All in all, we felt the price was a bit too high for the simple conditions and the remote location (outside of all the hustle and bustle of tourism). But we still really liked it and would come back at any time.
