We booked this hotel, but because of Covid and too less customers I guess, they asked us if we would like to change to ZEN TEA HOUSE HOTEL SEVEN STARS PARK. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel, the room was big and beautiful and the staff speaks really good English. They welcomed us with a tea and the check-in was really quick and uncomplicated. They helped us to book our bus tickets to the rice terraces and they also offer a airport pickup for 120 yuan, which was really convenient. I would book this hotel again. Thanks at the team for our nice stay.

The hotel was really a pleasant surprise, well worth the price! Clean and everything seemed new. However, wouldn't recommend if you are a light sleeper, as there's a lot of noises from the lakefront late at night, people singing etc, and the soundproofing is not that good. Not sure if the other side of the building is more quiet though.

Dong Li Gu Cun was the most wonderful experience we had in China, with comfortable rooms and delicious meals. The staff is highly receptive and warm, with very good tips for the trip, and attention to details. We felt in heaven, in a awesome scenic area, with the true Chinese spirit. There are many options of activities throughout the village, from craftsmanship of chopsticks, porcelain, preparation of traditional food and beverages and much more. There are also many activities for children. Special thanks to Xia, Kay and Chen, for the cultural immersion and special attention, since we were the sole foreigners in the village. We highly recommend the Li River Craftsmen in the Spring Festival if you want to have a traditional experience, and we regret to spend only 4 days there, because we would like to stay at least a whole week. We intend to return in the near future.

She is also knowledgeable about the bus back to Guilin airport or Longji rice terrace. The hotel is located in Xingping old town. Check in was fast and easy. The room is very clean and new. The room had everything I needed and more! It was very cozy. After a day or running along the river and hiking up the Laozhai hill, it was so nice to come back to the cozy room. There are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was a little bit of western and Chinese. I highly recommend this hotel.
