I stayed one night in a 10-person room, just to explore the area. The environment was clean and hygienic, the owner was friendly and approachable, and the other guests were quite friendly, sharing their travel experiences and offering to eat if they found a suitable dish, but I had to ask in advance to avoid disturbing them. At night, there were people playing games in the lobby, and it was quite noisy, so we chatted until around 2 or 3 a.m. before we could quiet down. You had to swipe your wristband to open each room's door, and you weren't allowed to visit other people's rooms. The swiping of your wristband to open the door was so loud that I barely slept the entire night, falling asleep only around 4 or 5 a.m. It wasn't as open as the Tongle Hostel in Bangkok, but it's great to have a hostel like this in China. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.
