|1.26km from city centerI spent a week in NYC for a change of scenery and wanted a comfortable place with space to work. Sonder delivered. The apartment is fully furnished, even including a dishwasher and washer dryer, two things often unheard of in a New York apartment. The location is perfect, convenient to just about everything including multiple Subway lines and walkable to Wall Street, Battery Park, World Trade Center and more. Also part of apartment living—some noise from neighbors including music and barking dogs. The non smoking policy was loosely enforced, this may have been due to the snowstorm. A request to enforce this was responded to quickly. Although there is a person at the front desk, no doorman type services like package handling are available.

During my stay, I asked for a quiet room (the first floor is not facing the street, outside the windows are all equipment such as air conditioners), also There was no weekend, so overall it was not noisy. The bar next door was a bit noisy on Thursday, until about 12 o'clock in the evening.
Speaking of the hotel itself, the rooms are decorated in French style, and the sanitary conditions are not as good as those of brand hotels. The bath towels are relatively old. The bedding did not feel very clean and the skin was itchy. The bathroom is very small and compact, especially the small washbasin (the smallest among the hotels I have ever stayed in) is not easy to use. The hotel’s breakfast is not bad, in the self-operated bar downstairs, there are not many varieties but not unpalatable.
Judging from the bill, the tax on Manhattan hotels is too high, exceeding 20%.
In short, B&B-type hotels are better than brand hotels in their individuality, but there is still a gap in service details.

I stayed for almost a month, but it is very convenient because there are restaurants, a market, and a convenience store nearby. Good location. The hostess makes breakfast and constantly treats drinks and snowflakes. The refrigerator is full of food, so you can cook yourself. There are different cafes and restaurants nearby for choice, because behind the corner of Times Square, there is almost everything. Metro station beside, bus stops. You can easily get to where you need.
The hostess does clean when you are not in place. In general, a pleasant impression. And the document, the receipt will provide Trip.com itself after departure, which is very convenient.

Only 3 toilets on the floor I stayed on with no locks on the doors which kept swinging inwards so you had to hold the door while in there. One of the showers hoses was broken so water sprayed everywhere in the tiny hole you stood in. Thought the gym use was included in the price paid but once arrived you had to pay again. Gym facilities were good though except no bathrooms on gym level so running up and down between floor if you need to pee 😅
Overall it’s a quiet street and was able to sleep well, you pay for what you get

|5.23km from city centerWe really enjoyed our stay at Little Manhattan Lodge. We booked the Garden King room (#1A) . We ended up having the whole lower level of the house to ourselves. It was nice because we had our own private entrance from the street.! We were able to go into the main house as well to use the kitchen and to store items in the refrigerator. We were also allowed to use the washer and dryer in the basement, although we didn't. I would give this property five stars but may downgrade to four stars due to the following:
1) The Wi-Fi was not very good on the bottom level... not sure how it was in the main building.
2) The beds were super firm, and the pillows were a little flat but we still slept well( probably due to exhaustion).
3) We really would have liked to have a TV in the room just to have some quiet noise to unwind after our busy day. There are no televisions in the rooms. We ended up streaming a few shows on our tablets (using our own mobile hotspot). Overall, the location was fantastic, and we would definitely book again! Thank you!
