Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Korea

Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Korea

South Korea is home to some of the most breathtaking cherry blossom spots. Here are a few must-visit locations for 2026:

Seoul: The Heart of the Blossoms

  • Yeouido Island: Known for its iconic cherry blossom tunnel, Yeouido Island is the go-to spot for a romantic walk amidst 1,800 cherry trees, perfectly framing the National Assembly building. The cherry blossoms here, combined with the vibrant city skyline, create a mesmerizing contrast. Visit during the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival for an unforgettable experience.
  • Seokchon Lake: With over 1,000 cherry trees lining the banks, Seokchon Lake becomes a serene paradise during cherry blossom season. Enjoy the views while sipping coffee at one of the nearby cafés, or simply wander along the lakeside paths.
  • Namsan Seoul Tower: For a mix of natural beauty and city views, Namsan offers both cherry blossoms and panoramic views of the sprawling metropolis. The walk up the mountain is as scenic as it is invigorating.

I bought early bird tickets a long time ago, but due to the later conference price reduction, much cheaper, trip.com also refunded the difference to me, very honest! When I arrived at around 5pm that day, I saw that many people who had not bought tickets had already set up camp. The scene was very crowded. With a ticket you can comfortably have a seat to watch the fireworks comfortably, and you don't have to arrive so early. The fireworks are beautiful, and there are also souvenirs to give, praise!

It was a perfect place for a walk. Locals and tourists alike were eating ramen from the nearby convenience store, so I was tempted and ate some too. The view was very beautiful at sunset, so I recommend going in the evening. Also, it's cold in winter because it's by the river.

Hangang Ramen 🍜 I had Hangang Ramen in the middle of winter, which is out of season, but because it was out of season there were no people and I was able to enjoy the scenery at my leisure ✨ They also have a fountain show from April, so I highly recommend it!!! It might be convenient to bring a picnic sheet or something 👌🏻

Cycling from Juniju to Hangang on the Tangrui It's a long distance, so I don't recommend it if you don't want to get tired lol I recommend it if you want to exercise! We ate ramen at Yeouido Hangang Park and took a night cruise. The beautiful scenery was mesmerizing! However, the boat is crowded, so it's hard to find a spot. If you want to see the beautiful scenery, I recommend boarding early.

This time I went to Yeouido GD flash mob Although there is no appointment to the exhibition (There are so many people!!) But I felt the atmosphere of the scene I am already satisfied just being able to take a photo with GD’s poster😭😭 Yeouido Department Store often has celebrity flash mobs The last ROSÉ flash mob was also here My fond memories are all in this department store I hope there will be more activities in the future🩷🩷

  • Dalmaji Hill: For a more unique experience, head to Dalmaji Hill. This hidden gem offers not just beautiful blossoms, but also a chance to enjoy Busan's coastal breeze and stunning ocean views. It's the perfect mix of nature and serenity.

It was so good. The beautiful scenery was also good while walking. As expected, if you wait until night, the scenery you see at night is also so beautiful. I think it is the prettiest to come when the full moon rises. It is a Haeundae moonrise road that you will not regret, so if you come to Busan and go to Haeundae, I recommend you go there at least once.

Although it is a bit steep, if you go up, you can see everything from Gwangan Bridge to Marine City at a glance. It is even better to go at sunset or at night.

It's super beautiful and very vast. You can take pictures of the tall buildings. It looks different at night, but don't come in winter.

The Moonlight Road is launched for cherry blossom viewing in Busan! If you don’t want to walk too much, you can first take a taxi to Haeundae, which costs about 6,000 won to get up to Haewoljeong. The walk back down the mountain is not so hard, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, the trees full of cherry blossoms are really beautiful, when the wind blows and the effect of cherry blossoms blowing water 🌸 unforgettable in this life.

Jeju Island: Blossoms in Paradise

  • Jeju’s Cherry Blossom Road: Located near the Hallasan Mountain, Jeju Island offers a stunning cherry blossom experience with blossoms set against the backdrop of volcanic landscapes and coastlines. The area’s quiet beauty makes it an ideal place for reflection and relaxation.
  • Jeju University: For those wanting to experience cherry blossoms in a more academic setting, Jeju University’s campus is lined with trees that bloom beautifully during the season. It’s perfect for a peaceful walk or a quiet moment under the blossoms.
