I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Strategic location on the side of the road, there are stalls and supermarkets close by. The swimming pool is clean and spacious. The bedroom is clean, the AC is cold, there is a kettle for making hot coffee/tea. Very fast wifi, Android TV. With a price of under 500K, it's very worthy in my opinion. The service from the man guarding there is very friendly. A friend of mine suddenly came to visit and spent the night so there were 3 of us in the room, and my bro and I didn't get hit there. I didn't try breakfast, because I'm a culinary expert in Ubud, so we ate outside. Thank you very much, highly recommend

Our hotel room was incredible, with a four poster bed and a nice balcony to look at the greenery of the wilderness around. The area the hotel is in is quiet and perfect for relaxing, yet its a quick drive away from Ubud town. Ubud is extremely busy area, with lots of shop, restaurants and the monkey forest. It is also not too far from waterfalls, art shops and temples (if you are looking for something to do!). The staff at the hotel were incredible and could not do enough for you, helping us with bags, sorting out taxis and just generally being extremely friendly. Most evenings we stayed out in Ubud for dinner, but we did stay at the hotel for dinner on one of the nights and the prices were extremely affordable. I really do recommend this hotel especially if you want a nice relaxing trip which isn't too far away from all the local activities.

We stayed in this guesthouse for a week. We were looking for a quiet place to sleep, far from the chaos of Ubud, the bet is held. It's really isolated, in the middle of the rice fields. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They are always there for you and if you have a question or request, they will go out of their way to answer it right away. The room is large and very clean. We asked for an upstairs room and got it. The bed is firm but comfortable. The rooms all have a terrace where you can eat, have breakfast or simply relax. The included breakfast is very simple (choice between omelet and pancakes, fruit juice, and fruit), but sufficient. You can pay extra for extras. There is no restaurant or bar in this guest house, so you will either have to go to the hotel not far away or order your food on Grab/Gojek. We opted for this second option, and it went very well, a huge choice, delivery in less than an hour if you order from a restaurant in Ubud. The staff can also take an order and your money and go 2/3 shopping for you for drinks displayed on the minibar. Every day they gave us a bottle of water each for free. The pool is nice and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient, sometimes even too much! It has to be settled. Sometimes we just ended up cutting it off. You won't be hot. Now, the negative points, because a good opinion must also mention the points to improve: Daylight which passes very easily, the curtains are not very glued to the window so from 5 am we began to have light. It's true that we Europeans are used to sleeping in the dark. In the room there was also a pipe noise, quite sharp, when people were using the water, whether it was us or neighbours. I don't know what it is, maybe a pump, pipes... I don't know if the problem is common to all rooms. Since I'm sensitive enough to noise to sleep, I opted for earplugs, problem solved. Count 3 to 5 euros one way to get around town by ordering a ride on Grab/Gojek. We had the reservation at a very good price because booked early and before the lifting of health restrictions, so we will say that we are very satisfied with our choice. I hope they will improve the two points mentioned above because those were the two things that bothered me.

I booked a week in Cottage #204 and I am so glad that I chose this beautiful place. It exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning in 2020. It was quiet, serene, spotless, safe, secure and away from the traffic and craziness of downtown Ubud. The property is in front of a rice paddy/farm and I loved hearing a rooster in the AM. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and cold from great a/c. It had a small living area, fridge, tea kettle, bottled water, garden bath (loved the open air tub), King Bed in a separate area that was heavenly, high grade linens, etc., everything that I needed or wanted. Also, blackout curtains and lots of privacy. Breakfast was included and I was served in an open air pavilion by a great serving staff. The selections were superb and plentiful. I was especially fond of the fresh pressed juices and traditional rice congee dish for breakfast. There are plenty of American/European choices and the servings are huge. The Chef was amazing. The property has a beautiful, elevated pool and open air library with lots of books and fountains to pass the time away. A full service spa and restaurant are on the property and you could easily stay here and never want to leave. The management, staff, housekeepers and gardeners work very hard to make it the perfect escape. The main restaurant, Warung Thor, was far better than anything in downtown Ubud and was half the price of the tourist traps. I loved everything that they offered and was impressed with the thoughtfully designed menu. They also had light snacks, gourmet coffees and gelatos. Their flagship dish is the “crispy duck” and a must do when you are there. A full bar menu is offered along with a complete selection of non alcoholic beverages. If you want pizza, they will make it any way that you like it and they utilize a wood burning oven. If you wish to go into town, the desk offers a free shuttle service into downtown Ubud and they will pick you up at pre set times. I went into town once and that was enough for me. I wanted to return to my location where the food and ambience was better and I did not have to put up with too many tourists. I might add that there are many things within walking distance of the hotel. A very cheap, same day laundry did a week’s worth of my clothing for about $1.25@ USD. They are to the right when you exit the hotel and just beyond, across the street, is a very chic’, trendy, upscale art gallery with a full service cafe’ and free WiFi. I loved going there for coffee and tea. The art work was stunning in this place. Their menu was outstanding and presentations were incredible. I had a salad on one visit that was in the 5 star category and the price was very reasonable. To the left of the hotel are lots of small convenience stores where you can pick up some great deals on snacks and drinks. ATM’s are plentiful. Stayed at Penida Sunset in early July 2023. Such a hidden gem with an infinity pool that has amazing views out towards the jungle and the bay. Cute, clean individual bungalows with comfy beds and decorated in traditional balinese style. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and the manager Gerry was so kind and helpful with anything we needed. The hotel is set back from the road so it’s super quiet and peaceful. Get the smoothie bowl for breakfast and fresh dragonfruit juice, both were amazing.

We have had a great stay here, and Gus is a great host who goes to the end to make his guests enjoy a great stay. The team he has around is working all day on making everything clean and comfortable. If sheets are on the ground, sheets are wiped, mattresses are needed for the beds are adjusted at the minute. You have to ask, our villa was unwisely clean and was as expected, the shower is also good, your room is cleaned at your request, through a plate. The villa was close to the street but there are earphones available in the room, which makes us sleep nicely. My friend was the t**** evening that we stayed here for the anniversary and I wanted to surprise her. A app to Gus was enough, he knew what he was doing right away and within 10 minutes we were discussing a menu. As agreed, he provided a dinner at candlelight next to the swimming pool with breathtaking decoration. This was really over expectation. We were even served at the pool by a warning staff who also provided the menu/dining. In general, this accommodation is a thick adviser!

I loved staying at Dini Guesthouse while I was in Canggu for 10 days. The property is amazing, the pool is perfect and the room was great. Everything was so clean and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. The onsite restaurant had really good food and it was affordable. The location is perfect and is just next to the Outpost Coworking Space and not too far from the Tropical Nomad Coworking space (5 min. scooter ride). It is also close to a lot of restaurants and just in front of a small supermarket. In my opinion, the quality for the price is incredible. I would stay there again for sure.

We stayed in The Kirana Ungasan for a week at Bungalow with amazing pool view. We really enjoyed the silence and staff was always ready to help you. We get our scooter, laundry and even massage under our bungalow here. Would recommend scooter rent for exploring Uluwatu area (Do not rent if you don’t have experience driving a scooter or you’re too scared of traffic!!!) There is lot of shops and restaurants near by. Highly recommended for your stay if you want to be silence and want to stay bungalow. Thank you for this amazing week with you guys!!

Is a nice backpackers place to stay for someone looking for an over night or a couple of days. It’s a nice place but there are a few things I didn’t care about there I guess for the price it’s a bargain But at this time no restaurant open here I guess due to covid . Free coffee all the time and water availability down stairs. Shower is nice and hot , the AC cold and the bed is pretty comfortable. I want to recommend to everyone the excellent team of the hotel Ped Cottage. Staff is very attentive to the guests and responsive. Very quickly react to problems and solve them. The room is clean, clean every day. Breakfast is very little but delicious! In the hotel you can order tours on the island, snorkeling with mant - which goes cheaper than ordering elsewhere. I advise you to choose the suite room on the 2nd floor, tc there is your own space. On the 1st floor - the staff passes by, which is not quite convenient. The hotel itself is far from any beaches, so it will be more suitable for ”night with comfort.” If you want to live near a good beach - this option is not yours. From the dock - 10 minutes drive. About 150.000 RP by taxi.

I will start by saying the cuisine was superb. I used to live in Bali 10years ago for 5years and I am passionate about food. It was so good to be able to eat authentic Balinese cuisine which was cooked authentically with all the spices and cooking methods. A big congratulations to the chef whose beef Rendang was better than Potatoes Heads Indo restaurant and for the Ayam Betutu which was exactly like a Balinese mother would prepare. The staff were young but enthusiastic and helpful. For me this was great to experience an authentic Balinese experience again after so much has been lost in the developments down south. Hey guys, there wasn’t too many reviews about this hotel. So I was a bit spectacle. However I just arrived from Nusa Penida Island and booked this hotel last minute. It was $16 a night plus taxes which made it $17 and something. The room is very pretty, It’s clean, stylish and modern. They also serve a selection of food. There is an outside seating overlooking a small garden. The bathroom is okay nothing special. It’s clean. I recommend this place.I took photos for you guys so you see it better. Happy travelling.

We just had two nights at this jewel at the end of a bumpy track - it was well worth it! We were picked up off the ferry from Bali by Tekut - very friendly, speaking quite good English. The huts were comfortable, the gardens beautiful with frangipani and other trees and shrubs. The pool overlooks the bay which at low tides was a hive of activity with local families growing sea****. Tekut was great at organising trips and we had our own boar fir the three of us to go searching for manta rays and snorkelling. We saw the manta rays and the was really exciting for my daughter and granddaughter who had searched before but not found them. For me the highlight was snorkelling and swimming in a cloud of 1000s of small orange and black fish. There are several restaurants in walking distance - all fine. Very happy to say this is a great place!,

My boy and I rented this room last week with Jetstar hotels, once we arrived, we immediately realized that the building did not reflect the photos or rather not all and not trustfully. The building was old and there was a tent in the door of the bathroom, and the last room was all accumulated in our bathroom waste, which was a terrible smell. The boy at the reception tried to clean it gently, but the smell was again the same. We asked for explanations, and the boy at the reception (I want to say very kind and available) tells me, ”It's not my fault because we haven't contracted with this hotel for at least four years.” We have therefore contacted the company that told us that, unfortunately, it could not give us any refund, which is absolutely absurd. Moreover, if you get out of here, the only way to travel is to have a motorbike or you can't move if you don't have local taxis that ask you for absurd figures for Bali, GOJEK and GRAB can't travel in this area so you'll be forced to pay A local taxi if you don't have the possibility to rent a motorbike. We booked the hotel over Booking.com. The facility is viewable. We were in Villa 8 (family rooms). The room itself with two large beds, mosquito net. Breakfast was always freshly prepared. You choose between three options,all options are coffee/tea and juice. We booked a tour to candidasa in the villas and it was all perfectly organized. Schnorchel equipment was put. In the villas we also borrowed mopeds. The manager and staff were very nice. We will come back the 2,5 days were too little.

I stayed in Bali for 3 weeks. About 2 to 4 days I would move to a different location to explore Bali a bit. And this hotel was my favorite of all. I had a room where I can see the ocean fron my bed. There was a young guy that rented me a bike. He arranged a boat and a taxi for me to go to Gili island. He arrange for my laundry to be done. This kid was just amazing. The room was perfect and clean. The breakfast was good. There is a very nice swimming pool and and relaxing chairs. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. A beautiful hotel, with fun rooms. The bathroom is quite small and could have been a little cleaner, but this was okay. The isolation of the rooms (houses) on the other side, is very bad. You hear everything that happens outside, screwing ponds, speaking staff, music, ... I've always sleeped with earphones. Good functioning air conditioning. The hotel's environment is beautiful, pleasant swimming pool and well maintained domain. The breakfast is in order, limited choice, but good. The location of the hotel was really not good, unless you like to sit among the local people. The hotel is located in a side street of a hugely busy and dirty street. (In the hotel you notice here fortunately nothing) There are tremendous cars, buses, broms, ... overnight. Not pleasant to walk in this street. The hotel is therefore a little outside the lake tourist area. There are some restaurants on the busy street, but not comfortable to our views. Afterwards, this hotel was on the “more expensive” side, if you look at the location, compared to other hotels in Bali.

Awesome place! I love it. Located in a quiet street in the rice fields accessible only by foot or motorbike and very close to the main street, the guest house is lovely and peaceful. Very sunny and soulable place!!! Location is convenient, to the most beautiful beaches of Melasti, Pandava and Geger nearby. The hosts are just great people!!! Everyone will show and tell, organized a transfer to the airport, because it was our last stop. And in general the ratio of price and quality for this price is very good! The road of Lembongan Island is really bad as other tourists say, but the scenery is really super beautiful. The location of the hotel is relatively close to all the attractions. Rent a motorcycle with the store and watch the map for ten minutes. I will be able to go, the clerk will give you a map on the island and explain to you, the hotel is on the side, so it will be relatively quiet, suitable for the daze ~ cook aunt to do something super delicious, recommended! I really love this place. I have stayed here twice - once in 2020 and again in 2022. It is a family-run place and the owner used to be a Dive Master. They can arrange scooter hire, ferry transport etc. On our last trip they offered to send us by bike with all of our luggages to the yellow bridge to catch a boat to Penida. My partner also requested for a birthday cake for me, and the owner managed to arrange it with flowers and pastry! I like that you have a private courtyard in the room. Some have a pool and kitchenette. The bed and pillow is really nice, and the room is clean. The bathroom has hot shower. For breakfast, I recommend the banana pancake or the jaffle. And very important, the coffee is really good at this place! It's value for money and I highly recommended it.
