In the center of the old town, you can basically go to any tourist attraction within one kilometer. It is very friendly to traveling bosozokus. There is nothing to say about the interior of the hotel. It is almost the same style as Lello Bookstore. Harry Potter is enough. The elevators and guest rooms are a bit Budapest. It feels like a big hotel. The air-conditioning panel in the room is actually touch-screen. It’s very magical~ The service is also good. After arriving, it’s easier to sit and check in. The check-in time is not stuck. There is also a welcome drink. I usually choose the special one. Port wine, and someone knocks on the door every night to deliver chocolates. Maybe the only bad thing is the small alleys on both sides of the hotel, which are basically tobacco shops and bars. Young people gather there at night and make noise, which will probably last until after 2 o'clock. The second floor is being renovated during the stay, which is quite disturbing. Visit the public area on the second floor. If you like retro, you can really try this hotel.From$267

No words.... Has been a trip INSIDE a subway construction area .... And I am not kidding unfortunately. I have reserved a single room kind bed. At beginning the reception assigned me one room at 4th floor exactly in front of jackhammer operators, which made the same noises as in war scenario with 2 beds.
Then after my immediate big complain reception have assigned me another room, #209. Different scenario : that was in front of a concrete grinding crane arrives from 8pm in the morning until 10pm in the evening. at 7am the noises of the vehicles began with the relative movement alarm and in the evening after 10pm the workers who hammer gradually finished at 1am in the night. all i have timed videos to prove my experience. I asked several times to assign me a room ON OTHER SIDE (that are outside the ”war operation area”) but answer was always _ ”SORRY SIR, THE ROOM ON BACKSIDE ARE FULL AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE AVAILABLE” .
Today at check out I have asked a discount, as feedback the receptionist charged me 20EUR more for 2 peer juices I have got from minibar......
I do not know how to describe this experience, I have been many times in Intercontinental and I have been always satisfied.... BESIDE THIS LAST TRIP THAT IS REALLY SOMETHING I WANT TO FORGET

Hotel located near one of the main metro stations of Porto, where most lines are crossed to go around the city. The area of the night rooms is 10 minutes walking distance, while the main tourist attractions of the historic centre are about 20 minutes walking distance. I was assigned a room at the first floor that gave access to the cover terrace (very badly held) of the ground floor of the hotel, to which the other rooms at the first floor were also accessed. I would have preferred a room at a little higher floor, I didn't feel free to sleep at night with an open balcony. The hotel's entrance is unclear from the street, since there is no sign that signals it but only the name written next to the entrance.From$74

I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon.
It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel.
When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good.
When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale.
In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best.
If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!!

The room is spacious and very clean with welcoming and leaving notes, adding the warmth to the stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful with first-timer's questions.
The roof-top bar is rather small and strangely located, as I have to come down to the reception and go back up the other lift.

A very good hotel. The room is large and comfortable. A large bottle of distilled water is placed on the table every day. Slippers and laundry bags are provided (many hotels no longer have this). The bathroom is tidy and has shower caps, cotton swabs, and other items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. You can get a razor and sewing kit if you need it. Everything is very considerate, but the two rooms are on the first floor. Open the curtain and you will see the corner of the platform. You can't see the outside street at all. The breakfast food is average, but it does not mean it is bad. I like it. Aspects: There is a beautiful expresso coffee machine, white wine is also served for breakfast, mini Portuguese tarts, fresh fruits, etc. The restaurant staff are friendly and polite.
There is a large shopping mall and supermarket in the basement next to the hotel. A little further away there is a very large and new Foodcourt called Mercado Bom, which has all kinds of food. We also had seafood platter and paella there for dinner two nights, it was cheap and delicious!
There is also a live show on Tuesday night, and the atmosphere is very lively!From$72

Забронировали номер «Галерея», он был неуютный. В нем не работал система кондиционирования и нам поменяли на номер «Трибуна». Вот этот номер был очень уютный, красивый и просторный, за что большое спасибо!
Еще дали купон на 2 бесплатных бокала вина в баре.
Единственный минус: цена за самый простой номер, мне кажется, не оправдана. Если брать, то начиная с улучшенных номеров.

It was an overall great stay. The room was very clean and had enough space for two people, though there was just a slight lack of drawers for clothes. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the climate control system was excellent. 設施：好不容易由車站拖行李箱到達酒店，大門口前的樓級，再要手抬行李箱進入酒店，產生不便。熟於較舊派的裝潢，房間有梳化，梳妝台，咖啡機，讚賞的是有提供幾款護理用品（在葡萄牙住了５個地點不同的酒店，普遍都沒有提供洗髮水／沐浴液以外的用品），拖鞋。
房間：有位置可以打開28寸的行李箱，廁所內的沐浴間的玻璃只佔一半，沒有門。
餐飲：早餐款式簡而精，水果、麵包、乳酪、沙律火腿熱盤都有，欣賞酒店提供的朱古力濃度高，還有玉桂。酒店頂層有露天餐廳，原本計劃會到訪，可惜入住３晚都是下雨天，就放棄了。
服務：在葡萄牙住了５個地點不同的酒店，普遍人員的服務都是比較淡然的。From$89

Location: Advantages, not far from St. Benedict Train Station, about 5.6 hundred meters. The disadvantage is that it's all up the mountain, and dragging luggage is like zipping. Surrounding environment: Downhill is Battle Square, uphill is Freedom Square, and there are countless supermarkets, shopping malls, and restaurants within 100 meters. A surprisingly unexpected gem of a hotel! Especially the top-floor rooms – standing on the terrace, you get panoramic views of Porto and stunning sunrises and sunsets. We booked a junior suite and asked to be put on a high floor. However, we got assigned the ground floor room facing the inner courtyard, making the room quite dark. And the lighting inside the room did not help either since most of the lights were directed light. We have asked for a change of room but was told its not available. The room is on the ground floor close to the lobby and the restaurant. When we asked to change the room, I have expressed my concern that it would be noisy and the front desk agent assured me that it would not be the case. Then on New Year's Eve, they have a party in the restaurant with very loud music. And the sound obviously leaked into our room, and the party lasted till the small hours.
The selection of food items at breakfast is quite limited. Its really quite mediocre compared with other hotels in this category. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.From$132

We had one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stay during this trip. Eurostars Porto Douro is strategically located along the river, and has a scenic view of the iconic Luis I bridge. We booked the room with balcony view and it was beautiful. Staff were friendly and the room was cozy and comfortable.
