Taormina Resorts

The quality of the hotel is very good. The best hotel, service, facilities and even the fragrance of this trip are great, basically the five-star level. The location is very good, a few minutes to the main street, very quiet. The room is large, the breakfast is simple, but on the top floor, the sea is invincible. The only pity is that most of the hotel rooms should still have no sea view, mainly due to location problems.

First of all, I don't know why this hotel has such a high rating. First, this hotel is not a hotel in the strict sense, and there is no 24-hour front desk (which caused us a lot of inconvenience later) Second, we booked the most expensive room type in this hotel, but it is very far from the sea and the volcano! It is on the mountain! It is very inconvenient to go to the beach or any check-in point, and it takes a long time to drive a winding mountain road to get there! In our opinion, the sea view and volcano view are completely gimmicks. Third, there was a sudden power outage at 11 o'clock in the evening. We didn't have time to wash up, and we called the staff on WhatsApp and sent messages for a long time without receiving a reply! It was only after 2 hours, at more than 1 o'clock in the morning, that we received a reply, and it was after the water and electricity were restored to normal. We waited for a long time in vain, and all our electronic devices needed electricity, but unfortunately we spent this night in a very worried and bad mood, which undoubtedly affected the mood of the trip. Although the hotel can check in early and provide champagne service upon request, I don't think this is what the staff let us recall as a ”benefit” on WhatsApp. The power outage and water outage are not your fault, but I think your attitude is not very sincere, just superficial. No matter what you say, you should know it in your heart. To be honest, I didn't see the hotel's symbolic compensation for such a long power outage, because it really affected our mood at the time. But anyway, this hotel is not recommended. If you have a car and you don't have high requirements for sea views and volcano views, if you don't want to go to the beach and can get there quickly, you can book this hotel.

This beautiful b & b is around 7min walk (with steps) from Agrigento Centrale. Rosalia is a very gracious and communicative host , the yard and rooms are tastefully designed. Breakfast was fantastic too. We enjoyed our stay. She and her husband were so kind to offer to drop off our luggage at the Centrale. Highly recommended! Thank you again!

There are few hotels to choose from in Taormina during the off-season. We finally chose this hotel. We didn't expect a good attitude, but it gave us a very good experience after checking in. The scenery here is really great. You can see the volcano directly from the room and the restaurant. The hotel's housekeeper is also very nice. He helped coordinate taxis and let us choose a hotel that uses public transportation, which is a lot more convenient.

The room was very satisfied. On the 2nd floor, I didn't imagine the music on the roof at night. The highlight was that there was free lemonade at the front desk and you could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that when the taxi checkout, make sure that they are the same as said in advance, they may temporarily increase the price). We have been allowed to climb the stairs according to Google Maps navigation. Later, we contacted the hotel to inform us that there is no way to climb the stairs, and arranged for someone to pick us up. It felt very good. Taormina is on the mountainside, with a certain slope, and it is really awkward to drag the luggage. There is a bus stop sign at Taormina Railway Station. You can sit on the mountainside or the top of the mountain. When the car is coming, there will be a special cashier to collect the money. One person will come to the mountainside.

The hotel is located at the very end of the main street. For those taking the bus up the mountain, you'll need to walk about 1.2 kilometers to reach the hotel. Although old, the common areas have been largely renovated and are well-maintained. The high ceilings make for a comfortable and pleasant experience, and the staff are friendly. I even had a room tour of my single room. The hotel's extra services are above four-star standards, including a spa, lunch, bar, and dinner (though I didn't try them). The guest area inside the room looked older, but it was spacious enough. It came with a small terrace with a sea view. The bathroom seemed renovated, and the fixtures were relatively new. The Western breakfast was standard, with smoothies available. (I was confused because it didn't include breakfast when booking, but I was told it was included when I checked in.) The hotel has a small garden with a beautiful pool at the end. By the way, the city tax is a bit steep, at 4 euros per person per night.

Very good location, directly on the beach. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Want to come back in any case.
