Top 10 The Sporting Globe Hotels

Pre Covid I travelled the country and stayed at many, many hotels - and as much as I was looking forward to staying here the end result was a big disappointment… Let me say this hotel’s housekeeping service is excellent - the room was very clean and neat! And this got them my two stars instead of one (or none!) On the whole the staff were pleasant (a couple had serious attitude problems but hey! We’re all human so I understand) and they all seemed run off their feet - which may be a major problem for them? Lack of good management maybe? But the cruncher was the restaurant - utter crap! Not what one expects at a what should be a top notch hotel - thank goodness there are decent eateries nearby! Novotel seriously need to lift their game! Two stars are generous for this hotel at this time - hopefully they improve as the location is great!

Good service, beautiful sea view

It was clean and the check-in was kind. Instead, there are no nearby marts or convenience stores, so you have to walk a bit, but it's good to stay as a lodging!!
