Great location, just a five-minute walk from the station. The environment is very clean, and the accommodation is spacious with beautifully designed rooms. There is an elevator for easy access between floors, and the internet is fast and convenient. The staff’s attitude is excellent, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious! Overall, it was an outstanding stay and highly recommended!

Disappointed by the level of service and outdated hotel. For that very pricy 4 stars hotel, I would have appreciated a higher level.. the staff was not particularly friendly neither helpful. The room was very dark with casi no natural light, not renovated like the booking picture. The bathtub was broken, they send someone that didn’t care of it and said it was indeed broken, reception didn’t propose anything in exchange. I ended up trying to fix myself for 1/2h. Bit sad.. also the Jacuzzi/public bath or gym are not accessible for free. You have to pay and book ahead.. you would imagine it’s included in the price. Positive side: very well located in the center, in the main luxury street, explain the price I guess? The rooftop is really the highlight with beautiful sunset, where we drunk our complementary bottle. The breakfast is really good, one of the best so far. Will not come back, not worthy.

Opted for an outer island stay in Venice, and Plaza Hotel Mestre is directly opposite Mestre train station. It seemed quite popular. Check-in and check-out were smooth; we arrived at noon and were given our room right away. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two 1.5-meter beds and cozy bedding, plus all the basic amenities. The towels were clean, and disposable slippers were provided, though the toiletries were basic. Our street-facing room had a bit of noise at night, but it was tolerable. There's an elevator for convenience. The Western breakfast was filling, with delicious bacon, and the coffee machine offered hot milk and hot water, perfect for those with thermos flasks to refill. Bus No. 2 right outside the hotel made getting to and from the island very convenient. Around the hotel, there's a Chinese supermarket and a Sichuan restaurant that were surprisingly good, affordable, and without any unpleasant surprises. I'd highly recommend this hotel for independent travelers. Venice is truly beautiful! 👍

The location is very good. It only takes one bridge and one mini bridge to get to the main island train station, so it's easy to drag luggage. The room is decorated in a retro style, clean and tidy. The area is relatively small, but it is understandable that every inch of land on the main island of Venice is expensive. There are toiletries (shampoo, shower, conditioner, lotion) and slippers, which is precious. Although it is a four-star hotel, this aspect has reached the five-star standard. The hotel staff has excellent service attitude, friendly and enthusiastic, thank you very much

The location is the best! The room is old, but the stay is very comfortable. I drove here and asked the hotel to arrange parking service, pick up and drop off from the parking lot to the hotel. The trip was good, but the price was expensive. When I left, the hotel did not explain clearly that the parking fee was not included in the 220 euro price! The ”taxi boat” was also borne by the guests. I was a little disappointed when I left. I paid a high price, but I felt that the hotel took advantage of it... Of course, everything in Venice is expensive, but I think the hotel can provide better service! Overall, there is room for improvement! Next time I go to Venice, I will change to another hotel!

The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes' walk from surrounding attractions and about 28 minutes' walk from the lonely San Lucia train station. However, it is not recommended for travelers with suitcases to walk, although the original picture has a good view. You can go out from the train station and take the bus line 5.2. I may not have bought the ticket properly, but it cost 9 euros to get from the hotel to the train station. The hotel is not very close or far from the shopping street. However, the walking navigation signal is easy to drift. After walking into many narrow alleys, you have to find a way out. The hotel room is small and the bathroom is large. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes. When I contacted the front desk, they said that the toothbrush was gone, which was very frustrating. The hotel is near the seaside. You can go there for a walk and have a cup of coffee in the morning. It's not bad either. The hotel recommended two restaurants: OGINA and which one is 50 meters straight on the right side of the hotel. OGINA Forget it, it's not that good. The other seafood restaurant was okay and the service was good. I ate there all day, but I had diarrhea the next morning. Maybe it was because I was lactose intolerant myself and ate a lot of cheese. The breakfast in the hotel is very basic. It costs 25 euros and 5 euros plus tax. I am not happy with the 29 euros. Overall, I spent 2,000 a night and enjoyed 3 stars in a first-tier domestic city. One advantage of the hotel is that the hassle of taxis is free. z z z

Highly recommended. It is close to the bus drop-off point and the train station, so it is suitable for leaving your luggage and going out for a walk. In terms of price, the overall Venice hotel is relatively cost-effective. All hotel staff are very friendly. They provide welcome drinks and small gifts when you check in, take your luggage to the room in advance, and then show guests various facilities. Since I came from France, I felt that the overall room was much larger, and every decoration was in Italian luxurious style. I really liked this hotel. If you don’t have to live next to an attraction, I highly recommend choosing this hotel.

Loved that I could take a water taxi right to the hotel! The room was small but cute, it served its purpose for changing my clothes and sleeping! Only issue I had in the room was the micro table next to the bed obviously wasn't cleaned because when I went to set my phone on it before bed my hand touched something and I had to turn the light back on to see what it was..... someone's fingernail or toenails clippings 🤢..... Positively Gross!!! As you can see from the photos they were NOT mine!

The location is very convenient. St. Mark's Square and the water bus stop are very close. The style is quaint, some old, and all the so-called sense of history. Ordinary rooms are small, especially the ones that take the elevator downstairs. Because the itinerary changed, I stayed one day in advance and only booked the general room at this location. Feeling bad, dark and narrow. In particular, the next-door tenant still carries a dog, and does not understand that pets are allowed. The dog was calling all night and called the front desk to solve it. The back trip changed to the third floor suite and it felt good. Relatively quiet, there is a motor sound from the ships on the river.

Best place to live during a business trip in Venice, conveniently located nearby the train station and the ferryboat station. Top quality breakfast with sweet and salty and a very good cappuccino! The room was a significant departure from the pictures advertised, which was a bit disappointing. However, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Having breakfast outdoors right by the Grand Canal offered truly fantastic views. A minor point: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, which might be an unexpected oversight for Chinese guests accustomed to this amenity in hotels. That said, the primary reason we chose this hotel was its convenient location for sightseeing, so these other issues were secondary.

We were two couples who stayed at ”Quadruple room with Private Bathroom” for 3 days. The hotel stands at the heart of Venice center and walkable from Santa Lucia train station and Ferrovia ”Vaporetto” (water public transport of Venice Lagoon) Terminal from where you can get to everywhere you can think of while visiting Venice. The hotel has 24 hours reception. The rooms were clean and comfortable.  There was room keeping everyday. The toilet was bit conjusted but was okay for us. The beds were comfortable. Everything was perfect. The only cons I found was the room size. It was a bit small for 4 people. There are local bakeries and cafes around, pharmacy, restaurants in mid-budget, Gondola service, etc all at reachable walking distance.

The location right next to the Rialto Bridge was great. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke a little Japanese. They were also kind enough to help me with directions to the airport after I checked out. The room itself felt old, but it was well-cleaned and clean. I was glad that there was an outlet around the bed. The air conditioning was too strong and the room was a little hot. It seemed like it could be adjusted for each room, but it didn't cool down very much. We got the cheapest room type, so it was like an attic and we couldn't see the canal at all! The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. The staff took our coffee and cappuccino orders and brought them to our seats. We could choose to sit inside or outside, but we chose inside and thought it would be nice to enjoy the view outside too!

The are only bed and wifi. No other amenities such as refrigerator or water boiler. It is necessary to climb up stairs to go to reception which is in first floor. The hotel has two buildings. Our room is located in 2nd floor of the other building. The staff helped to bring one suitcase and my son bring another one. The booking confirmation email said that check out time is before 12:00. However, the clean up staff knocked our door twice in 9:00 and 10:00 again even though we have put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. In around 10:30, the staff phone to room and said the check out time is 10:30. I told him the confirmation email said that the check out time is 12:00. Finally, we can still stay till 12:00. This is absolutely the right place to stay if you're visiting Venice! It's just a 10-minute train ride to Venice (for 1.5 Euros), and staying here also exempts you from Venice's access fee. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bathroom was equally roomy. The location is incredibly convenient, being only about 30 meters from the train station – literally just across the street. What's more, despite its proximity to the station, it was surprisingly quiet. There's a small gym available, which is perfectly adequate. Just a word of caution for Mestre: do be mindful of your belongings, and it's advisable not to venture out after dark.

Hu Venezia Camping Hotel – A Practical & Surprising Base for Venice My grate stay at the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel. It offers incredible value and fantastic facilities, making it a great choice for travelers on a budget. The Accommodation: Think of the rooms as clean, modern wooden cabins. They are compact and very basic – essentially a ”wooden box” as described, but they have the essential: a comfortable bed, a roof, and a powerful air conditioner. The cleaning is provided once a week, which is perfect for longer stays. The Resort & USP: The Amazing Pool Complex This is where the hotel truly shines. The property is massive and feels like a resort. The centrepiece is the huge, fantastic swimming pool, which is easily the hotel's Unique Selling Point (USP). It’s a major plus for families, as there's a dedicated area for children, and for adults looking to cool off and relax after a long day of sightseeing in crowded Venice. The overall atmosphere and interior landscaping of the hotel are really beautiful. It's green, well-maintained, and has a great vibe that makes you forget you're just outside a major city. Food & Drink There is an on-site restaurant where you can buy affordable meals, snacks, and drinks. A key point to note: there is no room service. The practical approach is to grab your food and take it back to enjoy on your patio or in your room. Also, be aware that coffee sachets are not provided in the room. If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend bringing your own or buying some at the reception/restaurant. Location & Connectivity The location is practical for accessing Venice without paying premium prices. · Shuttle Service: The hotel offers a very convenient shuttle bus to Tronchetto (the gateway to Venice's water transport) every 30 minutes for a reasonable €5 return trip. · Walking to Venice Mestre: A major discovery was that the Venezia Mestre train station is absolutely within walking distance (about 1.9km or 20-25 minutes). The walk is very safe, even early in the morning (we walked at 5 AM without any issues). This is a huge money-saver for getting trains to Venice Santa Lucia or other cities. Overall, the Hu Venezia Camping Hotel offers outstanding value for money. Get access to a fantastic resort-style pool and easy connections to Venice.

This is my third time to visit Venice. Compared with the previous two times, I am quite satisfied with the hotel I chose. After all, the cost per night is nearly 10 times that of the previous two times. The previous two times were double rooms in the San Paolo area, and this time it was a small suite in the San Marco area. This hotel has a lot of room types. Please refer to Figure 3. The size and the noisiness of the view outside the window are very different. The hotel operator is extremely shrewd. Consumers have to pay for every square meter, every ray of sunshine, every bit of quietness, and every bit of scenery. They are convinced! The doors of good rooms have different colors (black and white). Next time I go, I will choose a suite with a black door. Let me talk about the advantages first: 1. The location is excellent. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. The surrounding area is full of shops and restaurants. The water taxi can be parked downstairs and it is also a gondola stop. 2. The sanitary conditions are good, the bathroom is well hygienic, and the bedding is clean. 3. The bed is comfortable and refreshing. The actual situation in the room is basically the same as the picture, and there are even small surprises, such as the bathroom is still quite spacious. 4. We chose a small exquisite suite. Although the floor space is small, the room has three windows, which can let in some sunlight. Figure 1 shows the window of the room from the outside (3rd floor), and Figure 2 shows the view from the window in the room. This view costs several thousand yuan more. 5. The service attitude of the service staff is better than many platform reviews, and they can do what they should do. 6. There are many sofa chairs in the hotel, which is especially suitable for resting when you arrive at the hotel early but the room is not ready. Let's talk about the disadvantages: 1. There is no separate shower room in the bathroom, the bathtub does not drain well, and the bathtub has not been updated for years from the wear and tear. 2. The hotel is like a maze, and there are steps up and down on the same floor. You will get lost if you are not careful. If you have large luggage, you must explain it to the front desk. 3. There is no desk in the suite. If you have something to write and need a computer, it is very inconvenient. 4. I am not satisfied with the Ctrip butler. Because I need to use a desk, I want to pay extra to change to another suite. The butler is not powerful and irresponsible, so I give a bad review.

The Astor Junior Suite I booked for over 10,000 yuan a night turned out to be like this. It was next to the elevator, the window faced the roof, and the door faced the air conditioner and utility room in the corridor. It did not meet the suite standard at all. It was probably the worst room in the hotel. I asked the hotel front desk to change the room. On the first day, they said there were no rooms to change. I checked online and there were still many rooms. They said they would change it the next day. On the second day, they said they would have to pay 2,000 euros more. It didn't cost 2,000 euros to book a new room. It was a very bad experience.

We stayed at the third Patricia Urquiola hotel on this trip, Ca‘di Dio, which was renovated from an old mansion on the Adriatic Sea that can be traced back to the 13th century. Most of Urquiola’s space works in recent years emphasize the use of colors. The visual effect is good, but the space experience is a bit thin, a bit like a quick sketch. The space I like most among the three hotels I stayed in this time is the lobby of her Casa Brera hotel, and I still think that the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona more than ten years ago is the ceiling of her hotel works.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Salute Station is definitely the first choice when entering Venice. It can be quiet and quiet. The hotel is next to the Dormition Church. The other side of the canal is St. Mark's Square. One stop is very convenient for shipping. But San Marco got on the boat directly, and the most important thing to carry luggage was to cross a small bridge with few steps. The design of the hotel is very new. Although only the beggar room is booked, the canal is not visible outside the window, but the area is not small. Breakfast can be eaten by the window. It is the same as breakfast. The hair dryer in the room is good, smooth and has a bathtub The shower room is a shallow basin and the water splashes easily. Booking was full at that time, and Ctrip was still very happy to book in early July. Although the price was not cheap, but after staying for 24 hours, I felt it was worth it, but when I checked in, the hotel informed me of the reservation information, but the hotel did not give the supplier Confirm the reply, if the room is full, hehe, what is this operation? The hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined. Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.

The train station takes a taxi (boat) - 5 minutes to the hotel pier, and the public pier is at the hotel entrance, very convenient. This time the room was divided into the top floor with a terrace. It is said to be the only one. It is simply unparalleled scenery and enjoyment. I have been to Venice before, but I never thought I could enjoy the skyline of this beautiful city like this. I really hope to stay in this room next time. The hotel breakfast room also shocked me, walking up the grand staircase through the gorgeous hall, immediately reminiscent of the marquis and ladies who had been here all day long hundreds of years ago. Compared with the environment breakfast itself is a bit inferior, but it doesn't matter. There are delicious things everywhere, and this environment is rare. Dinner is also enjoyed at the hotel, the price is not expensive, and the taste is much better than the restaurant outside, I think it is not easy to find a decent restaurant in Venice, rather than wasting time recommending hotel dining.

very nice experience: convenient location, close to the main island with frequent shuttle. Very friendly staff. Nice and well designed room. You feel like having your own island!
