This was one of the most expensive hotel we have paid for during our Italy trip but the one with the worst check-in experience. As we saw reviews on Google that luggage has been stolen before with no camera to track, we wanted to lock our 2 luggages together for storage as the room was not ready. But the hotel staff became really defensive and did not allow us to do so, claiming that it’s difficult for him to handle for storage. The hotel even provided a slip that hotel declines all responsibilities of baggages. They do not want to bear responsibilities yet did not allow us to take basic precautions with our belongings. After sometimes debating with the reception and the staff, they finally allowed us to do so but gave really black faces even when we try to take picture of our luggages in the lobby. Upon returning from our long day of walk, the positive note is that the reception and the staff handling our luggages have a much more positive attitude and were more helpful. There were a lot of small stairs to our room so the staff assisted with the luggages. The main good thing is that this hotel is really near to Venezia Santa Lucia station and you do not need to carry luggages for a long distance across bridges. Facility is actually quite old and basic but at least clean. Breakfast view next to canal is good. Recommend for a short 1 night stay at Venice but we will likely not return again.

Great location, just a five-minute walk from the station. The environment is very clean, and the accommodation is spacious with beautifully designed rooms. The room was spacious and the heating worked very well. The key was unique, but the facilities were a bit old. The shower curtain didn't really keep the water in, so the bathroom floor got very wet. The courtyard next to the room was quite nice. Room 509 is actually on the ground floor. I also got bitten by mosquitoes at night, but luckily I managed to kill them quickly. The front desk had a peculiar process: when I checked in, they asked for my credit card to register the number. The next day when I checked out, I inquired about it and was told it was to prevent guests from forgetting to pay city taxes or other fees after leaving. They also assured me that the card information would be deleted later and not to worry.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right on a high-end shopping street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring on foot. The service is also impeccable; the personalized butler service is excellent, with staff escorting you to your room and handling your luggage. The rooms are generously sized, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated mansion. Its grand staircase offers wonderful photo opportunities, and from the rooftop, you can enjoy the refreshing Adriatic breeze while watching a stunning Venetian sunset. A crucial tip for arrival: absolutely do not follow Google Maps! Do not disembark the water bus too early. Instead, take it all the way to 'G-station' (you might need to check previous reviews for the exact name). From there, the hotel is just a very short walk away.

Surprisingly, we were able to take a free private boat to Murano Island, and even had an instructor accompany us to tour the Venetian glass workshop and the attached glass shop (which is more like a museum). The private boat only runs in the morning, once every 30 minutes, and one instructor is assigned to each person on that trip. Luckily, the instructor on our trip was very fluent in Japanese, so we were able to listen to the explanations and ask questions in Japanese. The hotel room was just as gorgeously decorated as the pictures, and we were very satisfied. The amount of water in the shower was a little weak (as is the case everywhere in Italy).

The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes' walk from surrounding attractions and about 28 minutes' walk from the lonely San Lucia train station. However, it is not recommended for travelers with suitcases to walk, although the original picture has a good view. You can go out from the train station and take the bus line 5.2. I may not have bought the ticket properly, but it cost 9 euros to get from the hotel to the train station. The hotel is not very close or far from the shopping street. However, the walking navigation signal is easy to drift. After walking into many narrow alleys, you have to find a way out. The hotel room is small and the bathroom is large. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes. When I contacted the front desk, they said that the toothbrush was gone, which was very frustrating. The hotel is near the seaside. You can go there for a walk and have a cup of coffee in the morning. It's not bad either. The hotel recommended two restaurants: OGINA and which one is 50 meters straight on the right side of the hotel. OGINA Forget it, it's not that good. The other seafood restaurant was okay and the service was good. I ate there all day, but I had diarrhea the next morning. Maybe it was because I was lactose intolerant myself and ate a lot of cheese. The breakfast in the hotel is very basic. It costs 25 euros and 5 euros plus tax. I am not happy with the 29 euros. Overall, I spent 2,000 a night and enjoyed 3 stars in a first-tier domestic city. One advantage of the hotel is that the hassle of taxis is free. z z z

This hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station, next to a Venice canal. Location is convenient but you need to cross a few bridges from the train station to the hotel so moving heavy luggages require a bit effort. The decoration of the hotel is classic and tasteful. The lobby is like an art studio. Best part is the excellent service. Hotel staff are courteous and always ready to help. After we checked out, we stored luggages at the hotel and went for sightseeing. Coming back to the hotel to retrieve the luggages, vwe rested at the lobby. The service staffer offered us free tea, which exceeded our expectation. Pretty much all other hotels charge fees for drinks. This hotel not only offered free drink but also offered it after our checking out. It's fully recommended.

Loved that I could take a water taxi right to the hotel! The room was small but cute, it served its purpose for changing my clothes and sleeping! Only issue I had in the room was the micro table next to the bed obviously wasn't cleaned because when I went to set my phone on it before bed my hand touched something and I had to turn the light back on to see what it was..... someone's fingernail or toenails clippings 🤢..... Positively Gross!!! As you can see from the photos they were NOT mine!

I highly recommend this hotel! It's incredibly close to the train station – literally a 5-minute walk. You don't have to cross any bridges or lug your bags around (apart from the station steps themselves). We booked a river view room and the scenery was lovely; I took photos of the view from the window, and it had a different charm both at night and in the morning. You can even soak up the sun while lying in bed! The room was very functional and had everything we needed. The breakfast area also had a great view, and the breakfast itself was decent for Italy, though our Hunan palates aren't quite used to it. The lady at the front desk was so incredibly nice! This trip was a bit rushed, and we only stayed one day, but if I ever come back to Venice, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

The room was a significant departure from the pictures advertised, which was a bit disappointing. However, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Having breakfast outdoors right by the Grand Canal offered truly fantastic views. A minor point: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, which might be an unexpected oversight for Chinese guests accustomed to this amenity in hotels. That said, the primary reason we chose this hotel was its convenient location for sightseeing, so these other issues were secondary.

We were two couples who stayed at ”Quadruple room with Private Bathroom” for 3 days. The hotel stands at the heart of Venice center and walkable from Santa Lucia train station and Ferrovia ”Vaporetto” (water public transport of Venice Lagoon) Terminal from where you can get to everywhere you can think of while visiting Venice. The hotel has 24 hours reception. The rooms were clean and comfortable.  There was room keeping everyday. The toilet was bit conjusted but was okay for us. The beds were comfortable. Everything was perfect. The only cons I found was the room size. It was a bit small for 4 people. There are local bakeries and cafes around, pharmacy, restaurants in mid-budget, Gondola service, etc all at reachable walking distance.

Location: Super close to the train station and the Vaporetto stop, which is great because getting around Venice's main island means either walking or taking a boat. The island is pretty big, but you can see most of it in a day if you're not planning on visiting every single museum. Facilities: The hotel's entrance is tiny, easy to miss! The worst part, though, are the stairs. Besides the ones at the entrance, there are so many steps going up and down throughout the hallways inside the hotel. It's really inconvenient if you have luggage. Service: No one was available to help with luggage, which was a real pain, especially since I had a lot. The front desk service, however, was quite professional, and the staff spoke good English – plus, they were very handsome! Cleanliness: The hotel is a bit old. Our room window faced an alley with trash cans, so we had to keep it closed.

A good place to stay in Venice cheaply. The location is pretty well connected and i strongly recommend taking an independent bus, rather than their shuttle bus service - they drop you off by a busy road and the walk to Venice is not much shorter than the 20min one that you take from the Hotel to a bus stop (and it’s cheaper). I found it very disappointing that my message I sent 2-3 days before my stay with questions, was never read or answered. The room has all needed amenities, and is overall comfortable, however the only table is outdoors. The on-site shop is convenient, with prices not too racked up, so very reliable. However the Hotel restaurant is disappointing. We ordered a pizza and a kids menu burger and fries - the pizza was very average, but the burger was actually just the meat patty and fries?? While it was clearly called a burger on the menu. Additionally, it was neither cheap, or fast service. I’d say this is a good place to stay for a short trip to Venice, especially on the budget, but would not recommend using their extra amenities such as the restaurant or bus.

The hotel is of a relatively high standard among four-star hotels. We booked a loft room and our family of three lived very comfortably. The breakfast standard was also very high, with a wide selection of bread, cake, cheese, ham, and fruit, and the service was also very good. However, since it was my first time in Venice, I didn't know that taxis couldn't go directly to the hotel, so I walked 1.2 kilometers with my luggage up and across the bridge, which was very tiring. I knew I could take a boat when I left, so everyone should plan well.

However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got bed bug bites during our stay, which was very disappointing. The place has a great location, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

Since it was my last day in Italy, I booked a hotel that was particularly close to Piazzale Roma. I traveled from Florence and walked from the station to the hotel, but crossing two bridges with stairs was a challenge. The bridge from the hotel to Piazzale Roma had a ramp, making it easy to move around with a carry-on suitcase. My hotel room had a bathtub, which was comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. It was a superior room, supposedly for two people, but it might feel cramped for two. I didn't eat at the hotel; instead, I bought water, yogurt, and sandwiches for breakfast at the supermarket, and in the evening, I got takeout from a nearby pizza place. Restaurant prices are particularly high in Venice. The takeout pizza and panini were generally tasty and filling, so I thought it was fine for my final day.

This is a very high-end hotel in Venice, with modern rooms (though a few inconveniences, such as not being able to hand-wash underwear). The service is excellent, but the price is high. According to the Ctrip room description, I booked an executive suite (2 adults, 2 children) for two nights. It had a king bed and two single beds, and I double-checked that there was no sofa bed or extra bed. The cost was around 16,000 for two nights. Upon check-in, the lobby was incredibly welcoming, offering a welcome drink. However, they explained that since I had only entered two adults in my booking, they assumed I was booking one child. Since there were two children, they would charge for an extra bed. I immediately thought this logic was flawed. If they had already prepared two beds, why did they assume there was only one child? If they knew there were four people, why would they charge for an extra bed? The front desk staff said it might have been a misunderstanding. I immediately checked with Ctrip, and they said there was no charge. However, upon entering the room, as shown in the picture, it was a repurposed sofa in the living room with a mattress and a spring bed, completely inconsistent with the Ctrip booking description and my repeated confirmation. Ctrip helped to mediate, saying that this was the only option, and that as long as the child could sleep, they wouldn't make a fuss. Upon check-out, in addition to the city entrance fee, they printed out a receipt stating employee benefits, nearly 100 euros, supposedly a service charge. Since I had a ferry to catch, I paid it, but then took the receipt to Ctrip, as it was an additional expense. After confirming it was a tip, the hotel explained that we had no objection. This is interesting; if it were a tip, the guest should have specified the amount (I'd probably accept 300 euros, right?), rather than simply printing out a figure for payment. Ctrip then arranged to refund the amount in a few days. These small details highlight the hotel's treatment of tourists, or perhaps Ctrip's tactics against Chinese tourists. Everyone should be aware of this. The hotel is still good; after all, at 8,000 euros a night, it's certainly worth it.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Salute Station is definitely the first choice when entering Venice. It can be quiet and quiet. The hotel is next to the Dormition Church. The other side of the canal is St. Mark's Square. One stop is very convenient for shipping. But San Marco got on the boat directly, and the most important thing to carry luggage was to cross a small bridge with few steps. The design of the hotel is very new. Although only the beggar room is booked, the canal is not visible outside the window, but the area is not small. Breakfast can be eaten by the window. It is the same as breakfast. The hair dryer in the room is good, smooth and has a bathtub The shower room is a shallow basin and the water splashes easily. Booking was full at that time, and Ctrip was still very happy to book in early July. Although the price was not cheap, but after staying for 24 hours, I felt it was worth it, but when I checked in, the hotel informed me of the reservation information, but the hotel did not give the supplier Confirm the reply, if the room is full, hehe, what is this operation? The payment was also successfully deducted two days before check-in, although it was surprisingly safe, and I received an oversold message on the day of my arrival on the check-in. The hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined. Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.

Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. I rarely book 3-star hotels, so I was quite taken aback when, upon arriving at 11 AM, I was asked to pay a fee to store my luggage. It felt like they were pushing me to pay more for an early check-in instead. Then, on top of the room rate, I had to pay an additional 22 Euros for city tax. We were given a room on the 3rd floor, which we accessed with a code. It faced almost directly onto the entrance/exit of an underground parking garage of the building opposite, and the noise was incredibly loud. I confirmed that there was no room orientation option when booking, and when I asked the front desk, I was told all other rooms were booked! The next morning, the breakfast restaurant was bustling – everyone really seemed to enjoy it. I guess it must be because of the convenient transportation? You can take the 'fishbone bridge' train and the water bus from there.

Hotel is located in a good location. When you get off the plane . Which is very easy to reach from the airport. You can take either trains or bus the reach venice main island. However you need to concern about the charging problem. As the electric plug in may not working. You would need to prepare 1 more USB-A cable in case for not working. The restaurant still opening until 2230. You can get still get any food before this time

There were empty bottles in the room, and other people's belongings in the cabinet? I couldn't find towels or anything, probably because they were replaced at the last minute. The Chinese owner was very friendly and provided excellent service. It's a guesthouse, not a hotel. There was a shared restroom.

Comfortable location, from the station waiting 10 min walking. The apartments eat kitchen, plates, dining appliances, only pan, no jar. The staff was responsive, at the request brought the tug and allowed to leave the things. There is not enough hanging in the room to hang the top clothes and only 1 chair. But super thing is there is an electric towel dryer, after a rainy day to dry things what is necessary. Hotel recommends, its price is appropriate

Great service! The breakfast was really good, and at 9 euros per person, it was quite substantial. The front desk upgraded us to a room with a king-size bed and a twin bed. Since it was winter and raining, it was lovely to walk into a room with the air conditioning already making it toasty warm. The bathroom was also large and very comfortable.

A good option for a short trip to Venice. The breakfast is simple, and the rooms are a bit old, but it's not far from the train station. It's perfect for a day trip to the main island of Venice, and there's a large supermarket nearby. The only downside is that they don't offer luggage storage after check-out.

I booked the hotel for my aunt and her friend. The location near the train station was a plus. The service was great. The staff was polite and happy to answer all their questions through a translator, as my aunts don't speak Italian. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious. They really liked the hotel.
