Great location, just a five-minute walk from the station. The environment is very clean, and the accommodation is spacious with beautifully designed rooms. There is an elevator for easy access between floors, and the internet is fast and convenient. The staff’s attitude is excellent, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious! Overall, it was an outstanding stay and highly recommended!

Great! They upgraded us to a larger room. The breakfast was good too. This hotel has a fantastic location, right opposite Santa Lucia train station. It only takes about six minutes to walk across the bridge with your luggage. Plus, if you're planning to explore by boat, you can buy tickets right across the street at the ticket office. We bought a one-day pass and even managed a trip to Murano (the glass island).

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right on a high-end shopping street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring on foot. The service is also impeccable; the personalized butler service is excellent, with staff escorting you to your room and handling your luggage. The rooms are generously sized, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated mansion. Its grand staircase offers wonderful photo opportunities, and from the rooftop, you can enjoy the refreshing Adriatic breeze while watching a stunning Venetian sunset. A crucial tip for arrival: absolutely do not follow Google Maps! Do not disembark the water bus too early. Instead, take it all the way to 'G-station' (you might need to check previous reviews for the exact name). From there, the hotel is just a very short walk away.

This hotel is a must-recommend! My child and I both agree it's the best value-for-money hotel we've stayed at in Europe so far. The moment we got off the train, we could see the hotel's logo from the platform – the location is excellent, right across from the train station, less than a 2-minute walk. Plus, the room was bigger than we expected, the largest we've had these past few days, and it was very quiet. It came with slippers, a hairdryer, a kettle, and air conditioning. We booked a king-sized bed, which was very spacious, and the bathroom and bathtub were also large. If you turn right out of the hotel, then right again at the first intersection, you'll find many Chinese restaurants. Walking less than 5 minutes down the road, on your left, there's a large, affordable supermarket where a big bottle of water costs about 0.35 euros. The hotel breakfast was also very generous, with a wide variety of items, including boiled eggs.

Surprisingly, we were able to take a free private boat to Murano Island, and even had an instructor accompany us to tour the Venetian glass workshop and the attached glass shop (which is more like a museum). The private boat only runs in the morning, once every 30 minutes, and one instructor is assigned to each person on that trip. Luckily, the instructor on our trip was very fluent in Japanese, so we were able to listen to the explanations and ask questions in Japanese. The hotel room was just as gorgeously decorated as the pictures, and we were very satisfied. The amount of water in the shower was a little weak (as is the case everywhere in Italy).

I would have given them a higher score but we had a few issues. First the restaurant and bar were closed on one of the 2 nights we stayed. For a premium cost hotel I would expect to be able to get a drink in the bar. Breakfast was really poor. It was included in our rate but consisted of stale croissant and pan au chocolat. Poor selection of cured meat and cheese and one bowl of fruit salad. No toast. I asked for an egg and my daughter a crepe. We were charged an extra £25! Hotel was otherwise in a good location and rooms were lovely. New member of staff had started that day and he was brilliant.

This hotel was a great choice. The rooms and bathrooms were a good size, and the mattresses, bedding, and linens were of excellent quality. The total soundproofing of the rooms is a highlight, in addition to the location (very close to the center but also to the train station and car rental places). The breakfast was fantastic, with lactose-free and gluten-free options, freshly prepared food, and many fresh foods (e.g., natural fruit juices). The cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of all the staff contributed to making this a top-notch experience! I highly recommend it!!

Loved that I could take a water taxi right to the hotel! The room was small but cute, it served its purpose for changing my clothes and sleeping! Only issue I had in the room was the micro table next to the bed obviously wasn't cleaned because when I went to set my phone on it before bed my hand touched something and I had to turn the light back on to see what it was..... someone's fingernail or toenails clippings 🤢..... Positively Gross!!! As you can see from the photos they were NOT mine!

I highly recommend this hotel! It's incredibly close to the train station – literally a 5-minute walk. You don't have to cross any bridges or lug your bags around (apart from the station steps themselves). We booked a river view room and the scenery was lovely; I took photos of the view from the window, and it had a different charm both at night and in the morning. You can even soak up the sun while lying in bed! The room was very functional and had everything we needed. The breakfast area also had a great view, and the breakfast itself was decent for Italy, though our Hunan palates aren't quite used to it. The lady at the front desk was so incredibly nice! This trip was a bit rushed, and we only stayed one day, but if I ever come back to Venice, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

The room was a significant departure from the pictures advertised, which was a bit disappointing. However, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Having breakfast outdoors right by the Grand Canal offered truly fantastic views. A minor point: there was no complimentary bottled water in the room, which might be an unexpected oversight for Chinese guests accustomed to this amenity in hotels. That said, the primary reason we chose this hotel was its convenient location for sightseeing, so these other issues were secondary.

Superb location. Just a stone’s throw away from the main train station. The hotel is easy to find as it is located along the shopping street. There is hot water available in the toilet to enjoy a good warm shower in the cold weather. The bed and pillow is a tad too soft for me. Another note is that you need to return the key whenever you leave the hotel and ask for it when you go back. Other than this, all is good.

Breakfast was fabulous, a good range of continental style options plus hot options as well, the staff covering breakfast were also lovely and friendly. Location: Super close to the train station and the Vaporetto stop, which is great because getting around Venice's main island means either walking or taking a boat. The island is pretty big, but you can see most of it in a day if you're not planning on visiting every single museum. Facilities: The hotel's entrance is tiny, easy to miss! The worst part, though, are the stairs. Besides the ones at the entrance, there are so many steps going up and down throughout the hallways inside the hotel. It's really inconvenient if you have luggage. Service: No one was available to help with luggage, which was a real pain, especially since I had a lot. The front desk service, however, was quite professional, and the staff spoke good English – plus, they were very handsome! Cleanliness: The hotel is a bit old. Our room window faced an alley with trash cans, so we had to keep it closed.

The bus driver who picked us up in the evening was incredibly rude; I wouldn't even give him one star for service. We'd pre-booked the shuttle service and had already been charged online, with the order showing as confirmed. However, for some reason, we couldn't access the bus ticket page – it kept showing an error. Perhaps it was because we were using a German SIM card, or maybe there was an issue with the hotel's website (we tried again after leaving the hotel the next day, and it worked fine). But at the time, the bus driver was really difficult, you know? We tried repeatedly to explain and show him the order confirmation page, but he just said it wasn't his fault, that he didn't care about our reasons, and he only looked at the ticket page. His impatient tone and glare would have made anyone lose their cool. So, my husband got into an argument with him. I tried to de-escalate, telling him I understood it was his job and not his fault, but before I could finish, he pointed his finger at my nose, stared me down, and loudly declared, 'Yes, madam, it's all your fault!' Then he got back into the driver's seat and started muttering to himself in Italian, but in a way that sounded insulting. At that point, I lost it too. We flew all the way to Milan and took a train to Venice specifically not to deal with such attitudes. Can't there be special treatment for special circumstances? I believe such people are rare, but this one incident definitely ruined our vacation to some extent. The bus driver who dropped us off in the morning was excellent. Faced with the same issue, he let us on the bus and even said that these things sometimes happen, proving how different people can be. Now, about the hotel: it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station, so it would be more suitable if you're driving. The internal facilities are decent; the well-equipped kitchen was my favorite part. However, one toilet wouldn't flush, the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold, and the soundproofing was poor, likely due to it being a wooden building. The hotel has a pool, an internal shop, and a restaurant. The surroundings are quite isolated, with nothing to do nearby besides farmland and residential areas. The front desk staff provided excellent service.

Well located hotel, with easy (vaporetto and by foot) connections to all parts of Venice. Breakfast was included and was good. There is a supermarket a couple of mins away. For those with mobility issues but does not use a wheelchair, please check what the hotel has in place to support you when the lift does not work. We chose this hotel as it has lift access to all floors. On the day we were checking out, the power was shut off for works (by the local govt and not the hotel). This resulted in the lifts being inaccessible, making it impossible for one person in our party to access the room. While the hotel was helpful in bringing luggage downstairs, it was concerning that they had no solution to help someone unable to take the stairs. We were fortunate that we had a solution that did not require help from hotel staff, but I am not clear on how someone with mobility issues and stuck on the upper floors would be able to move.

An amazing hotel!  Arrived in Venice by train from Trieste (after disembarking from a cruise ship).  Getting to the hotel and around Venice was easy using the vaporetto (bought the 48 hour passes at the pier kiosk located outside the train station).  The hotel, room, bathroom, and view were beautiful!  The hotel staff including the receptionist and concierge were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!  They provided an amazing and unexpected surprise on our 2nd day there…recognizing my wife’s birthday.  We returned to the room and they had placed balloons on the bed and had a bottle of champagne and other fine treats waiting for her!  This hotel and staff go above and beyond the 5 star expectations!

What a gem this place is! Very close to Rialto bridge water bus stop from the airport, and very close to St Marks Basilica and Square. Rooms are amazingly well presented, very spacious and very clean. There’s also a rooftop area which has amazing views and great space to hang out. The only downside is they provide one bottle of water for two people in the room, charge of €6 for an extra bottle, which for a 4* hotel, is frankly a joke in my opinion. Not even complimentary snack for the price we paid for the room. Price-wise,it’s on the 4* range mark, thus the complain about the water and lack of complementaries. Otherwise, staff are nice. Easy check in, and also have a luggage storage which meant we can have a lovely day without our bags. I’d stay here again though, I’ll just bring my own water bottle. Lol

After exiting Venice's Santa Lucia train station, you'll walk about a kilometer down the main street to your left, then duck into some winding alleys to find this hotel. I got lost on my first try, crossing the bridge from the station and ending up on the wrong side, which added a lot of extra walking. The hotel definitely shows its age. It's quiet, and the exterior is clean. However, the room facilities are quite old, especially the bathroom. The bedding is clean, and you can still see hints of its past luxury in the decor, like crystal chandeliers. There was only one complimentary bottle of water in the room. They did provide two small tubes of toothpaste, which I haven't seen in other Italian hotels. The hotel's location is super convenient for shopping. Since it was my last day in Italy, I booked a hotel that was particularly close to Piazzale Roma. I traveled from Florence and walked from the station to the hotel, but crossing two bridges with stairs was a challenge. The bridge from the hotel to Piazzale Roma had a ramp, making it easy to move around with a carry-on suitcase. My hotel room had a bathtub, which was comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. It was a superior room, supposedly for two people, but it might feel cramped for two. I didn't eat at the hotel; instead, I bought water, yogurt, and sandwiches for breakfast at the supermarket, and in the evening, I got takeout from a nearby pizza place. Restaurant prices are particularly high in Venice. The takeout pizza and panini were generally tasty and filling, so I thought it was fine for my final day.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Salute Station is definitely the first choice when entering Venice. It can be quiet and quiet. The hotel is next to the Dormition Church. The other side of the canal is St. Mark's Square. One stop is very convenient for shipping. But San Marco got on the boat directly, and the most important thing to carry luggage was to cross a small bridge with few steps. The design of the hotel is very new. Although only the beggar room is booked, the canal is not visible outside the window, but the area is not small. Breakfast can be eaten by the window. It is the same as breakfast. The hair dryer in the room is good, smooth and has a bathtub The shower room is a shallow basin and the water splashes easily. Booking was full at that time, and Ctrip was still very happy to book in early July. Although the price was not cheap, but after staying for 24 hours, I felt it was worth it, but when I checked in, the hotel informed me of the reservation information, but the hotel did not give the supplier Confirm the reply, if the room is full, hehe, what is this operation? The hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined. Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.

Just the bath, as some already mentioned, does not fit to the room. It is clean and is equipped with everything what you need/expect. Just different from the style. And one more little highlight are the big air con devices in front of the window which a super loud. The rest was really perfect. Breakfast buffet included everything what you need. Just only the powder coffee you can get for the price - rest you need to order separately which is different to other 5 stars Hotel where I have been before. At least one „good“ coffee should be included in the high price. Overall really a nice stay with a SUPER friendly helpful staff. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 7-8 minute walk from the train station. It's a 4-star chain hotel, and they kindly allowed us a free early check-in and an extra hour for late check-out, which perfectly suited our arrival in the morning and our train departure the following afternoon. The breakfast buffet was good, and the environment was pleasant. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and it's also very convenient to take the train to Venice.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, and the size was good too. The location is very convenient, close to the station and just a 10-minute walk to the main attractions. There are also a few good Chinese restaurants next to the hotel. About 300 meters from the hotel, there's a very large supermarket which is great for browsing. Staying here when visiting Venice offers excellent value for money.

The hotel breakfast was also very generous, with a wide variety of items, including boiled eggs.

the hotel location is good, as long as you know how to get there from the train station. Don’t go up to the ground floor! go through the underground tunnel and walk all the way to the back, it will save you 10-15mins

My stay here was pretty great. Although the hotel isn't directly on Venice's main island, its location is actually super convenient. It's really close to Venezia Mestre train station, about a 7-minute walk, making it easy to catch a train or hop on a bus right outside the hotel. The bus takes about 12 minutes to get to the main island, which is incredibly hassle-free for independent travelers. I stayed during the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and expected prices to be exorbitant, but this hotel was surprisingly affordable and offered excellent value for money. I was genuinely pleased. Furthermore, the neighborhood has a good number of businesses run by overseas Chinese, so finding places to eat and shop is easy, making it very friendly for Chinese tourists. The hotel's front desk staff are also Chinese, and especially during Chinese New Year, it was really comforting to meet fellow countrymen while abroad. Communication was a breeze. Overall, this is a conveniently located, affordably priced hotel with a great stay experience. I'd definitely recommend it.

Friendly Staff and Great Tips for Visiting Venice We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Centrale. What really made the experience special was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They kindly explained to us the easiest way to visit Venice without driving into the city. Instead of driving and paying expensive parking fees in Venice (which can be at least €25 or more), they suggested taking Bus 7 or 7E, which goes directly to Venice with the last stop near the main area. The journey only takes about 20 minutes, making it very convenient. They also recommended a nearby parking area costing around €12, which saved us quite a bit. The hotel itself is comfortable and practical. The room was a good size with everything we needed, including a nice hot shower after a long day of travel. Breakfast was good, and the hotel seems quite popular. There is also a little shop just next door so you can just buy whatever that you need. The surrounding town is simple, but the hotel’s location is very convenient for visiting Venice. We also appreciated that dogs are allowed, which made traveling with our pet much easier. Overall, the friendly service and helpful local advice made a big difference to our stay.
