Petals is a beautiful, well-maintained resort located close to the main road near Thariode and I would highly recommend it for multiple reasons. We were there for 3 nights and the staff were helpful and polite. The food was too good and varied. We chose the heritage room and it was clean, loaded with all amenities and had great views of the valley. The resort has a great pool, game rooms, spa and a badminton court. Pros - Stay was excellent, the tools were so well built and maintained. The scenic view and the whole property is very good. The staff was good and helping. cons- food was average with very limited options. We travelled with kids and we didn’t have enough option on menu for kids and also dessert option was disappointing. And pool is too far from the rooms. When I booked the stay through MMT it was only giving me options of a earth room and a mini room and not knowing the distance between 2 rooms I went ahead and booked. The property was soo good with all the amenities. The room was very spacious ***** with a very nice view from the bed itself. Basic amenities were all present in the room as well as the bathroom. The room service was also very quick and the in room dining was very delicious. The breakfast which was included in our room package was also great and had a lot of variety. The check in and check out process was also quick and the ballet parking service was also provided. Other than all this, we were also provided a 15 mins complementary foot massages for 2 and 2 complimentary soft drinks. Excellent stay in meppadi wayanad with warm staff and cool scenic jungle views. The food is very good with a wide choice of variety local cuisines. They also have some activities in the resort which are fun. Overall we had a nice stay and mr. Rakesh, arjun snd co. Were very helpful in guiding us through our entire stay. Our only discomfort happened once we left the resort in the cab booked through the resort, mr. Riyas. Took us to places which were already closed and had tie ups with costly shops where he took us for visit. My suggestion is do not book that cab service. If you are coming as a group of friends it will be good. If you come as a couple or family it won't be good here. They have tv, but you can't see any channel here coz there's no connection. Safety of the room is good but they don't provide much safety. Hygiene of the room is too worse. There's no regular room cleaner or bathroom cleaning. We could find cockroaches here. That too more cockroaches. They won't provide food during any time of the day. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you can't find any. They are providing tea and coffee. But you can't find milk in it. Because they are providing tea and coffee without milk. Even that is too worse in here. Be bought it and we poured it in the wash basin. There is no nearby shops to get snacks or tea. Owner of the resort is good. Because he helped to get us car and suggested the places to visit. The only advantage here is it is opposite of karapuzha dam. And other thing is it is centre of most of must visit places. Most of the must visit places are in 30 kms radius from this place. So it may reduce you time. I was happy to find out that the property is actually very close to the main road, just that the last 400m or so is a bit difficult, luckily it was not during the rainy season. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The lights in the hall and rooms were are not so bright, may be one or two could have been brighter for people who like them that way. The location was close to national highway making it easy access for people willing to explore Vythri and Wayanad. The amenities were upto mark and it was very clean. Dennis sir, the owner of the resort was very friendly and took good care thoughout the stay, he organised bonfire & music. The entire stay at Bay View was amazing and memorable.

Petals is a beautiful, well-maintained resort located close to the main road near Thariode and I would highly recommend it for multiple reasons. We were there for 3 nights and the staff were helpful and polite. The food was too good and varied. We chose the heritage room and it was clean, loaded with all amenities and had great views of the valley. The resort has a great pool, game rooms, spa and a badminton court. All in all a perfect stay and would love to come again.
