El Aurassi

El Aurassi ★★★★

📍 2 Ave du Docteur Frantz Fanon, Alger Centre, Algiers

"The room was incredibly quiet, the only hotel so far where I haven't needed earplugs to sleep. The duvet cover had stains, which was unpleasant. The front desk didn't have scissors, which was inconvenient. The balcony was very comfortable; such amenities and the peaceful environment were truly heartwarming. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the fruit was fresh, and the roasted vegetables were delicious. Plus, there were terrace seats with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains, which was very relaxing. There's a swimming pool."

Roza Hotel ★★★

📍 Dar El Beïda, Algiers

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the airport. The service is great, but the furniture and facilities need an upgrade to match the price."

New Day Hotel

New Day Hotel ★★★★

📍 Mokhtari، 34 Rue des frères, حسين داي, Algiers

"This was my second stay at this hotel. The first time, I already noticed the UNPROFESSIONALISM at the reception desk. You ask for the price, quickly go to the currency exchange, only to find out that there are two additional charges (some kind of surcharge + tax)...so you have to go back to the currency exchange...communication is definitely not their strong suit 🤬 Service in the restaurant was excellent, cleaning was quite okay (which I find very strange: there are NO TOILET BRUSHES in this hotel! Please disinfect the glasses/bowls & spoons in the room, as the staff only rinse them with water...therefore, danger of herpes!!!). During my second stay, I truly lost my temper, as I was woken up both days because of the UNPROFESSIONALISM of the reception (including the management)...both times, there was no good morning, but rather yelled at to come to the reception immediately to correct errors that were the fault of the reception staff. I ask you to wake someone up on the day of checkout because the employee didn't calculate the taxes, and when you then ask, half asleep, "How much money am I supposed to pay?" and get the answer "I don't know"...it truly takes your breath away how brain-dead the reception staff actually are, INSANE🤯 Afterwards, I found out that their tax calculation was even wrong...truly beyond words... Reception ZERO, the rest of the hotel crew gets 3.5 out of 5 from me. PS: I can recommend the standard rooms...the larger rooms are definitely not worth the money!"

Hotel Best Night ★★★

📍 P5FC+83X, Cité Boushaki D N°: 158, Unnamed Road, Bab Ezzouar, Algiers

"Generally speaking, it's OK. It seems that the hotels here are not very good. The rooms facing north are on the road, which is quite noisy. The single bed is very small, and there is no way to dry the clothes. Friendly reminder: The hotel has no toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers. The WIFI is super bad. It is basically unavailable in the room. It is recommended to buy a mobile phone card locally. The advantage of this hotel is that it can be picked up at the airport. You can call when you arrive. It is recommended to wait for them at the gate 4 of the airport. It may be more convenient. The breakfast is OK, you can eat enough, and there are more desserts. Another advantage is that you can order lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The taste is not bad. I ordered lamb chops, grilled chicken, steak, etc., see the picture. There are many service staff in the hotel, and they work in shifts. When you order food, there will be a fat waiter in the restaurant occasionally. He may be a small leader. His attitude is very average. I feel a little unhappy, but he doesn't go to work every day. It depends on luck. There is only one person. The others are very friendly."

"Very good hotel. Highly recommended."

Samir Hotel

Samir Hotel ★★★

📍 74 Rue Didouche Mourad, Alger Centre, Algiers

"First of all, they couldn’t find our reservation and then tried to charge us double, even though the mistake was clearly on their side. Eventually, we got a room, which looked nice at first. However, the room was extremely hot and the air conditioning barely worked. We had to ask multiple times, and whether the AC was switched on or not seemed to depend entirely on whether the receptionist knew how to operate it. This was supposed to be the best hotel of our trip, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment."

Dar El Ikram Hotel
7.9 (30 reviews)

Dar El Ikram Hotel ★★★

📍 24 Rue Nezzar Kbaili Aissa, 22 Rue Hocine BELADJEL, Alger Centre, Algiers

"My stay at this hotel was satisfactory. The staff was friendly, and although the location was in the middle of town, it was fairly quiet. Most importantly, the room was exceptionally clean. A breakfast buffet would have been perfect."

City Hotel Alger

"The hotel is in a great location, close to two metro stops. A commercial and very busy street. The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and simple. The breakfast room is comfortable even for a stop during the day"

"I went on a business trip in early December 2024. This hotel is very close to the Capital Airport and is called Babuzuer. There are many Chinese people there. The price is affordable and there is breakfast. The room is clean and tidy without any odor. The front desk staff has a good service attitude. There are also parking spaces outside, but there are relatively few parking spaces. It was a pleasant business trip experience!"

AD Hotel Hydra ★★★★
"Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5 Stars) The AD Hydra in Algiers truly exceeded my expectations in almost every way, providing a luxurious and comfortable base for my visit. It is clear that the staff and management take immense pride in the property and the service they deliver. The Good: • Service & Staff: The staff were the highlight of the stay consistently warm, professional, and attentive. Check-in was seamless, and the concierge was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. • Rooms & Comfort: The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a perfect night’s sleep. The modern bathroom facilities were excellent, with great water pressure. • Location: Situated in the Hydra area, the hotel offers a quiet, upscale location that feels secure yet still conveniently close to key areas of the city. The Not-So-Good (The Breakfast): Unfortunately, the one aspect that fell flat was the breakfast spread. While everything else about the hotel was top-tier, the breakfast was, regrettably, quite sad. The selection felt limited, items were often cold or stale, and the overall presentation lacked effort and variety. It was a stark contrast to the high quality found everywhere else. For a hotel of this caliber, the morning offering felt like a definite afterthought and was a disappointing way to start the day. Conclusion: Despite the lackluster breakfast, the AD Hydra is an outstanding hotel. I would highly recommend it for its exceptional service, luxurious rooms, and excellent ambiance. Should they invest in improving their breakfast quality to match the rest of their superb operation, this would easily be a five-star establishment. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully with a revamped morning menu!"
