We booked La Serena for a quiet and peaceful week in September. No one informed us of the “fiestas de Moros y Christos” until we were there. The marching bands “battle”against each other until 06:00 am, nearly under the hotel. Literally 3 sleepless nights, forced us to leave. Nevertheless, we were charged the full amount, under threat of calling the police if we refused to pay. So, if you’re looking for a relaxing, calm & quiet holiday, stay away during festivities.

Superb experience in Altea👌🏻 Perfect situated Hotel with the most service minded staff you could ever want. We are here for the second time, but definitely not the last time. Don’t. forget visiting the restaurant, most probably in top 3 of the whole Altea region. Best recommendation for staff, service and hotel🙏🏼

Spotlessly clean, good location, comfortable beds, good shower, nice cold beer, nice breakfast, modern stylish decor. Spa is at an additional price, which I felt given the price paid could easily be included for one hour per day per room. Definitely worth a walk up the hill to the old town!

Lovely hotel, room was very clean and well equipped and decorated beautifully, the same can be said throughout the hotel. Views were great, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, fantastic food and thoroughly enjoyed the spa. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at this amazing hotel for four nights, and we love everything about it. The atmosphere, the staff, the location, the room, the backgarden with the swimmingpool and the cosy outside area for a good wine and dinner in the evening. We will definitely come back next summer.

Lovely boutique hotel that is close to the old town. We did move rooms, first room (1) had no natural light and was in the basement so we asked to move to a smaller room with a large balcony overlooking the pool (8) which was a lot nicer if you like light airy rooms. The hotel is very quiet and only has 11 rooms so you are never unable to get round the pool. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Altea. I would only recommend Altea for a couple of nights as there is not much to do here once you’ve visited the old town which is a very steep climb up to. P.S we didn’t try the spa in the hotel either. The hotel staff were very pleasant but this hotel is not ideal if you enjoy general chit chat with other guests or staff as it just so very quiet….We were the only English too.

Beautiful little hotel within a stones throw of main Altea old town. Our room was spacious & had every amenity required. The staff were all so polite and hard working. This stay was part of our honeymoon and we hope to be back year after year for our anniversaries. Thankyou

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Great location in the old town with a lovely pool and terrace to relax in. The room was spacious, stylish and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice although only a continental breakfast - no cooked options.

Super nice small boutique hotel with a fantastic location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is wonderful. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and helpful. We only ate one meal at the restaurant other than the included breakfasts and it was very good. It’s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. For special occasions I couldn’t ask for more!
