"It was an ok hotel. When we got to the room the room was very humid and the sheets were wet because of the humidity. The breakfast was just a Continental breakfast wasn’t worth the price difference."

"First couple days were great, however on our last day we wanted to stay another night but they couldn’t find us in their system, so the employee said I could just stay and when his boss woke up he would come down and fix it. He also told me I could stay pass check in since we were waiting for the boss. Fast forward a couple hours boss was still not up yet so I decided to cancel reservation on my phone since it wasn’t showing in their system anyways. I got my stuff out and planned to go to another hotel and an hour later the boss called me, sounded incredibly disrespectful saying if I was planning to leave I shouldn’t have stayed past check out (11) I proceeded to tell him his employee couldn’t figure it out and that we waited a few hours for him so then I finally cancelled. He still continued to talk rude to me saying I didn’t have the right to stay and I told him his employee was the one who told me to wait and stay longer. Overall cleanliness was good, rooms were nice, but whoever the boss is, needs to either learn how to start talking with respect, or give his employees a lecture on the dos and don’ts."

"While the hotel itself was very clean, comfortable beds, and located centrally, there were major issues with their plumbing and the toilets were not working. We couldn’t use our own bathroom we had to dress and walk down the hall to the lobby bathroom. Extremely inconvenient. They did have plumbers come in and we were not the only ones that had the issues as several others had complained. Other than that, the hotel itself was very nice, the beds were super comfortable and the staff was very nice."

"The hotel is quite new, the room is good, the bedding is very comfortable, the hotel is also very safe, there is a tornado in the middle of the night, there is no impact in the room, the only drawback is that the hotel does not have a room cleaning every day by default, if there is no prior request, the room is not cleaned by no one, Name it for the safety of the guests, okay 😑"

"Checkin process was good; but the room was ice cold when I first arrived. After turning the AC off to get to a more livable temperature, I noticed that the chair by the window reeked of stale cigarette smoke. As long as the fan was always running and the temperature setting was cold, the smell was not noticeable; but hardly hospitable. The center of the bed sagged a bit; it might be due to the lack of proper bed support under the mattress. Plentiful hangers came in handy. Showers were very nice; lots of hot water and good pressure. I can't review the breakfast or facilities because I did not partake of either one. These problems can be quickly rectified; but I should not have to ask. They should have been observed by hotel staff and reported for correction. Housekeeping service showed up at 8:45 on the first day of a 3 day stay to clean the room but I was still sleeping. I didn't realize that I _HAD_ to put out a Do Not Disturb placard to keep them from waking me up. I thought they would be able to tell that I was still in the room with their housekeeping key. They did not return later that day to perform their tidy up routine."

"The rooms were just remodeled so they were clean but there was working going on the main floor which wasn’t clean. The gym was closed so that was an inconvenience for me. Also, we had to be escorted to our rooms because the key system wasn’t working yet from the remodeling. All of this and the place didn’t provide any accommodations for the inconveniences."

"I booked this hotel for 3 nights and i didn’t have room service any of nights. When i asked they said they did come and cleaned my room but the truth is they lied. When i forced them they replied they saw DND card on my door. I only pit DND card for the first night cause i was too tired then never put back. Horrible receptionist, his temper was too bad. In one time he started to smacking the table with his hands. This hotel employees are liar and horrible with service. Never again."

"Loya's Little House was an absolute gem in Iowa! The atmosphere is peaceful and the story of the house is interesting too. We stayed in Loya's room, and it is very comfortable and quiet. But the best part of all was the breakfast the next morning, it is like eating in a 5-star restaurant."
