The Oaks is a overpriced ripoff. For what I paid the carpet needed cleaning. A whole in the gyp rock wall. The toilet ran over the whole time. X2 poxy single beds pushed together and the traffic noise at night coming up of the street was awful. It’s a one or two star place with five star prices. I can only advise that people stay well clear of this over priced ****hole

Maybe I was given the wrong room. The kitchen faces the bed and there is a mirror on the bedside cabinet. Ctrip said it was more than 50 square meters, but the actual price was more than 20 square meters.

Furniture was ripped in lounge-tv in lounge didn’t work - paint peeling in ensuite- this was meant to be an executive apar**ent- certainly significantly below standard.

Myself and my family find the oaks very comfortable and ideal to convenience
But each time we had been there the quality of furniture and repairs needed makes it quite questionable for the value of money I spend to stay there

The lounges in reception really need replacing - doesn’t give a good first impression. Carpet in room very worn. Housekeeping is hit and miss. Sometimes bed made but not always and missed us completely one day (as we returned late we couldn’t tell anyone reception was closed). Restaurant isn’t always open so forget room service. The room we were in was extremely hot for October and the Aircon doesn’t go lower than 19 so rather uncomfortable and doesn’t cool down until late evening. Rather disappointed as we often stay at Oaks (and are away usually 200-300 nights per year) and this isn’t their usual standard.
