This place is amazing and one of the best places we have ever visit. Nice small bungalows practically on the beach. Italian chef who knows how to cook. Everything is clean and well maintained. You have to be ready for tips to local staff, but this is just OK. Go outside and watch how they live and what they do...than compare and few euro spend is really nothing. Good idea is gift for local school as crayons and working books. Lemurs are nice and you will also appreciate your own small gecko / gecko=no insect in room / Buy vanilla and rum and be happy...and on the top it is adults only . WIFI is good ,but only in reception and close surrounding. Make a trip to various islands go to see turtles and local reef.. Advice: start to eat local fruits very slowly step by step..this will help you to keep your health in line..having proper medicaments ready. You cannot win only be reedy. GO THERE.

Very Disappointing !!! No help organising transfers in advance despite asking months in advance several times. Only at the very last minute we got a reply, which was way too late. No help with bags from taxi on arrival, security guard just starred at us struggling and didn't even smile or welcome us. No English spoken at reception despite being advertised as an English speaking Hotel. Had to use a translation app. Reception would not take Euros for room and board payment depiste our booking being quoted in Euros, of which we had bought loads with us. Room stank of bleach and tired looking. Cleaner was very friendly. There were staff on the beach to help move your sun lounger, from your designated numbered space, but they wanted cash from you to do this. There were also men standing on the beach between you and the sea that wanted to try and sell stuff. Can't get food outside of set hours. Pool has stained floor & walls. Cladding missing and broken from around pool area. Not a 4 star hotel as we were led to believe. More like an average/slightly poor 3 star. Beach chair cushions stained. All announcements at dinner were only spoken in Italian. Our return transfer was not booked despite us booking it with reception a few days before our last day. All in all we expected much more from this hotel so came away disappointed.

We have just spent a week at this resort as a family of 5 in 2 junior suites. This hotel works exceptionally hard to deliver 4* service on a very undeveloped island. The selection of food at the buffets (breakfast, lunch & dinner) changes each day and there is usually some food available in the bar during the day (fruit, pastries, waffles, olives nuts etc). The bedrooms were large, well cleaned and had a lovely balcony with table and chairs from which to enjoy the view across the beach. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We did two trips from the dive centre (one to Nosy Fanihy and one to Nosy Sakatia) at very reasonable prices.

The room is far from the bar, the beach is dirty, so if you don't live in building 1-2, you're out of luck.. Pokoj daleko od baru, pláž špinavá, takže pokud nebydlíte v budově 1-2 tak máte smůlu …..

I have been here for three days but it has been very nice. The food was so good even if it was a buffet and the people there are so nice! Especially the local guy Giulio who worked for Franco Rosso, he had been so helpful and nice! The sunset here is something incredible! The sea is very shallow but we managed to go in the afternoon but it is worth coming here! The Room was just in front of the beach and we loved it ! The entertainment was soft and not invasive! Thanks to all of them !

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic resort for our honeymoon in July 2023. Everything was truly beautiful, the resort is the top for hospitality and excellent relaxation. We had some wonderful excursions with Hubert Eric of Mora Mora excursions, the ultimate in convenience as the boat for the excursions leaves directly from the village instead of having to drive more than an hour to get to the port. Eric is very kind and hospitable and will show you the most exclusive places in Nosy Be. Plus, on your excursions, you will eat delicious, fresh fish, the best you've ever eaten! You can contact Eric directly on Facebook (Hubert Eric) or on the MORA MORA excursions page or via WhatsApp, he will answer you immediately. I highly recommend both the resort and the excursions with Eric.

Alpiclub amarina....splendid village, very clean and with attention to every detail, surrounded by greenery, staff always available and smiling, the director Marco is a very kind person and always available for anything, entertainment never intrusive but always with a smile, thanks in advance in particular goes to Nico (it was truly a pleasure to meet you) who accompanied us to the Lokobe reserve where we appreciated the uncontaminated nature which we hope will remain so.
