Hotel Nibaru

What a find! Our first holiday as new empty-nesters and our first time to Sardinia. We couldn’t have chosen better. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, ambiance was relaxing with a sense of calm. We stayed for five nights (and a late request to extend half a day for a late evening flight was accommodated - charged at half the full rate). We had a superior double room with a balcony - spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast featured a good choice - cold meat and cheese, fruit, cakes, pastries, yoghurts, cereals, as well as a smaller choice of hot food. Great start to the day. Received good restaurant and beach recommendations - and good information on a visit to Olbia. All in all, one of the most relaxing short summer holidays that we can remember. Thank you.

We are right in the middle of the action and next to all the nice beaches. The hotel is beautiful and the architecture is nice and cozy the hotel is relativity cozy and new. Ariana who works at the reception is lovely sweet and warm and made our stay so nice the staff is so nice at breakfast it’s mostly run by the nicest ladies. Breakfast is the best I had in Italy. The yummiest mozeral and the yummiest coffee panini breads and great great eggs and loveliest fruit. This hotel is truly run with love and an awesome family energy. I enjoyed every bit of it, Ariana helped us rent a car took care of our laundry and the there is always a parking spot for yoru car. Rooms are clean and tv is big and there are supermarkets all around for water etc and additional perks. I loved this hotel it was great and recomend it for hospitality and also the theme and colour scheme of the hotel is great. Everything is in whites and creams

Stayed 2 nights and was impressed by the spotless rooms and the general upkeep of the hotel. Large comfortable bed with good bedding, bathroom was as new and nice balcony with chairs and table overlooking the lovely pool. Minibar In room. Covered parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, ham, cheese and pastries. We walked to the beach and hired a pedalo. Restaurant Bar Baretto next door is very good value. Glad we chose to stay here.

Had a week's stay here mid-Sep, lovely little hotel. It's out of the town so you'll have to drive anywhere for food (hotel does minimum lunch snacks and no dinner). 15 minute walks to various gorgeous beaches. Gym is great (with a squat rack!). Pool is nice to sit around but the water is freeeeezing!

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Hotel Nibaru. Richardo and his team were just fabulous - friendly and helpful, booking boat hire, restaurants and recommending the best beaches and lovely rustic towns for sightseeing. The cleanliness of the hotel was 5🌟, lovely pool, amazing breakfast, lunch and snack options, cocktails, a well equipped gym too. The location is perfect - close enough to walk to a few stunning beaches and a shirt 15min drive to Porto Cervo, Baja Sardinia, San Panteleo in all directions. We really loved staying here. The location is really strategic. You are close to the nicest beaches of the costa Smeralda and very close to Porto Cervo and other lovely towns. All beaches were great. Coming back to the hotel was nice and relaxing. The hotel staff is really nice. The reception staff have been really helpful and kind. The breakfast staff made our mornings start well. The cleaners were also very kind. The premises and garden are very nice. Would be best if the gardener does not water the plants at 6 in the morning. Since our rooms were close to the plants the sound would wake us up. The pool is nice and peaceful and the gym absolutely perfect. The breakfast is delicious! Cakes, Sardinian ricotta, baked peaches. Everything was really perfect. And the cappuccino delicious! Well done ! Our rooms were nice. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathrooms could be improved in terms of the quality of the materials. The floor and wall seem prefabricated when some nice Italian tiles would be better, more hygienic and long lasting. Amenities were of good quality. Towels for the beach and pool are kindly provided. I appreciated that after checkout we were allowed to keep using the pool for the afternoon. Good options for light lunch are provided for. There is enough parking for everyone. We will certainly return. Complimenti

This hotel was the perfect base for a couple exploring the Costa Smeralda. It's a very quiet and extremely clean hotel. I'd recommend a hire car or scooter as restaurants, the nearest supermarket and beaches are all 5-10 mins away. However, if you just want to relax by the pool or a very small local beach you would be fine without transportation. Reception staff recommended and booked all the local restaurants and they were all lovely. Drinks by the pool were great. The photos don't do the hotel justice. It's much nicer and the views are lovely.

We stayed at Nibaru for 7 nights, and we are happy with this hotel. It was quiet and secluded. The service was also very good. We complained about lack of blackout in our room at night, when the temporary measure didn’t work out, they offered us another room, but as we decided to stay in our room, they resolved it temporarily. Good restaurants are a bit far, but the hotel snack bar is good enough and they are cheaper than any other restaurants we have been to. The only complaint I have is that everything is disposable, e.g shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, olive oil, vinegar etc. But I am not sure whether it is general in Italy. We hope to see more environmental friendly measures in place when we visit next time.

We really liked this hotel and the location. It’s a 30 minute drive from Olbia airport which was quite straight forward. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are modern - the pool is nicely laid out with comfortable sun beds ….and all is well maintained. Breakfast has a bit of everything and overall I’d recommend this place without hesitation. You will need a car - but that’s a must if you want to see all the beaches and visit all the restaurants. There are 5 or 6 beaches within a quick drive from the hotel, parking rates vary, be prepared to pay up €18 for a full day at some. Ask the reception for recommendations for places to eat, the restaurant next door is a good starting point but there are plenty to choose from not too far away.
