Hotel & Spa Maria Manuela

I bought a family pack for 2 adults and 2 children with access to the spa and dinner included. The check-in is only from 15 a.m. I haven't received any more specific information from the hotel. I check in around 17:00 and I am informed that children have access to the pool only from 13:00 and with the last entry at 16:30, so they couldn't go to the pool anymore. A serious failure in the hotel communication occurred because I bought a pack with access to the pool that was not possible to do. Fortunately, the receptionist who was at night was not the same and was quite understanding the situation, allowing us to enjoy the spa in the family the next day between 13 and 14:30.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. Ideal for nature lovers, you can make a pathway nearby, ride or just walk in an idyllical environment. Thanks to Sonia and Susana, the hotel owners for the kindness, attention and good work they do day by day with smeral, and they have given us a good news, the hotel will remain open in the weekends of November and December. So those who want to be closed to snow ⛄️ for rack, routes and skiing 🎿 do not hesitate Entermontes is one of the best options for host****. Thank you very much for everything. We will repeat

We booked 3 nights in a Junior Suite and had high expectations; the location was great, however the reat below average. The junior suite needes an upgrade, despite being spacy with a great view of the Covadonga Basilica, bathroom was small and the amenities nit worth 4 stars. There was not enough shampoo/gel for 2 showers same day. Wallpaper and carpet in the room needed change. The hotel has laundry service, however does not advertise same. Price is reasonable though. One must prebook breakfast slit evening before due to covid-not convenient at all. Ensure you get to breakfast early, as you end up spending a lot of time queuing, as they serve hot items by the plate. We tried both early (7:15) and late (10:15). Late breakfast was a disaster; many items were missing and only 2 staff to serve everything (1 staff member was rude and lazy, the other friendly but stresses as he had to do the job for both). We had dinner (from the bar menu) one evening - don't bother dining at the hotel. Quality and taste (or should I say lack of same) were bad. The hotel employs young people, however most lack experience which show. Also note not a lot of the staff speak English and basic service and service skills (I know as I have been working in hotels myself) All in all great location but bad service and outdated amenities and food.

To start the road up to the hotel is a bit gnarly if you follow a Sat nav but there is an alternative which is a bit easier. The secure underground parking is a massive bonus with direct access to the rooms. Check in was so easy with broken Spanish and Google translate with exceptionally friendly staff. The room on entrance was spotlessly clean with the air con running so it was already at a comfortable temperature. The room was well appointed with a fridge and hair dryer and plenty of storage. There was plenty of space around the pool with no need for the crack of dawn sun bed dash. The breakfast was a normal fair of cooked and pastries, nothing special but more than adequate however the evening meal was the same every night and quite expensive for what it was. This may be an issue if you don’t have transport away from the hotel. The position of the hotel is quite remote so it would be a mission to walk to an alternative restaurant. The views from the hotel are stunning from the outside lounge area and if you are lucky enough to have a balcony room. So the upshot of the review is great hotel, excellent friendly staff, beautiful location spotlessly clean. The only downside is the evening meal options but if you have transport this is a non issue as there are plenty of alternatives available. So, would we recommend this hotel, absolutely and can’t wait to visit again

We are on a motorbike touring holiday and this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. One of our riders fell off and Chus from the reception team personally drove us to the hospital to drop off some clothes for the injured rider as the taxis were too booked up. It’s that kind of service and human kindness that makes these trips so special, especially in times of need! Very grateful to Chus for helping us. ❤️❤️❤️ Food was delicious too, if you’re a meat eater, the entrecôte steak was incredible.
Hotel El Angliru

The worst experience experienced, last July 08, 2022 at the Angliru Hotel of Soto de Cangas, after being arrived at 15:00 and delivered the keys and we tried to rest, we heard the thieves of a dog in the first floor room, as the The owners left a dog closed in the room and left, the dog was crying for 2 hours, complaining several people from different rooms in the first floor, so it was impossible to rest, But the worst thing was that my partner has picked her a stick in bed, causing her a hole in the back so we had to go urgently to the health center to remove the stick as she was put inside the back so caused her a reaction and swelling immediately, several days after I started to have severe headaches and fever , muscle pain and possibly throat infections, since a blood test has been performed to test if there is infection of the The claims were requested to take action by the Onis Cangas diputation, damages and damages were requested. This hotel is allowed for dogs and pets to sleep inside the rooms, look more like a dog than a hotel, also add that under the beds there were dog hair balls and strong dog urine smells, to take into account the next visitors of the hotel.
