We really enjoyed that this hotel was walkable to many attractions and restaurants. However, I feel we had trouble with the hotel itself from the beginning. Upon check in, we were told there was no hotel parking and we had to pay $40-$50 PER NIGHT to park in the parking deck. This information was not on *******’s website nor the hotel’s website and no one called or emailed to let us know about this. This was extremely frustrating and when I expressed this while checking in, I was pretty much given a shoulder shrug.
The other problems we encountered was that the room key card was our “ticket” in and out of the parking deck, which stopped working twice and we were stuck for 15-20 minutes each time trying to get a hold of someone to come let us out.
One morning, the only 1 of the hotel elevators were in service. While waiting for them, a maintenance worker came by and told us to take the stairs downstairs. We took the stairs and were then locked inside of the staircase! When we finally got someone to open the door, my husband informed the front desk of what happened and they told us we should not have been in the staircase. No concern over the fact that an employee told us to use them because of the elevators were not working and no concern that the doors were locked (fire safety!).
Also, a small complimentary breakfast is not offered. The only breakfast offered is a small hot buffet for $19 a person or continental breakfast for $12 a person.
