It’s hard to rate this hotel as there were some absolutely lovely things about it: - the location is gorgeous - the pool is so relaxing and heated for a night time swim - the staff were quick to fix WiFi issues - the free shuttle and being able to WhatsApp for pick up was fantastic However I think the following things really knock it down: - we were first put into room 108 and there was a gap between the door and the wall when shut. This was already mentioned on trip advisor by another guest so it really should be fixed! - the sound proofing is awful. We stayed 3 nights and I was woken up/kept awake on all 3 nights as the pool is open late and loud dogs are barking on the lane behind. - one night they had singers performing until 10pm, so loud that every room would’ve felt like the performance was in their room. - breakfast is limited and pretty rubbish to be honest.

This place has an amazing view to Mount Batur and Lake Batur. It is on the road where the trucks are passing for transporting sands and other materials. Sometimes we can hear the roar but only on working hours (morning to eary evening). The road is quit a challenging form some with poor driving skill. This road is not suitable for easy cycling (unless you're a pro). It offers big room which need maintenance in some areas. The main issues in this place is the humidity which cause many walls are peels off. Bathroom almost as big as the room itself. Intalling URINALs on the bathroom would be good for male since it still has plenty of space. Urinal would help male not to pee on the floor hence reduce pee smell in bathroom. This place has unique restaurant called The Kayuan. it is very instagrammable. Food and drinks are so so, but better than most of other place in this area.

Stay for one night in this hotel to feel Kintamani by the night. Kintamani is a cold place (no need for AC). I can smell cow poo nearby our room, could be come from the plantation nearby. I expect to see some insect due to the nature, but not this much. Caterpillar crawling in our floor all day and night, in the eveing flying ants creping in from underneath door try to look for lights. We must turn all light off to avoid them come to our room. The worst part was, hot water was broken. One can't bath in this place without hot water. Owner of the hotel was kind enough providing second room for bathing but still disappointing, not hot enough to survive cold air. We try to get the sleep and left early morning. Next time we will certainly avoid this place.

Beautiful place in the mountains, the maps are wrong of where it’s at but not far off. Very nice location and hospitality. Be prepared to get a bike or a way to get around and all shops are far away
