Longsheng Hotels with Bars

If you get the chance to visit Longji/Longsheng to hike through the amazing rice paddies, then you absolutely must stay at Li'An Lodge. The rooms are lovely, clean and quaint, and a cultural alternative to the more modern options in the larger cities. The lodge is run by Aaron who goes above and beyond to help visitors, give local recs, and speaks perfect English. He will also help you avoid any tourist traps.  Li'An lodge is also built on the highest point so you have a fabulous view, and is situated right at the starting point of the main hike in local area. The rooms give you a great view of the rice paddies and the village.  The food is simple and great, or you can eat around the town, which is very atmospheric. We came in the low season end of March, which was misty but fab and we had most of the places to ourselves.  Really can't recommend enough. If you get to Guilinxi (station) they will send a driver to get you. You can also book directly with the hotel over email with Aaron which is easy and efficient. 

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from guiding us on how to get there to assisting with booking our bus tickets. They were always friendly and very supportive. The food was also excellent. We tried several local dishes and everything we had was truly delicious. Our room had a beautiful view, and everything was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Longji Rice Terraces. Thank you to the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable.

The scenery is incredible. You don't have to do anything, just sit and watch. I was so lucky that I saw the sunrise, sunset, sea of clouds, and rainstorms during my one-day stay. The service was excellent, both before and during check-in. I didn't give it a perfect score for cleanliness because the ecological environment is so good. There were a few dead insects in the room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were a little dirty, but it didn't affect me much. It was the happiest day of my trip to Guilin, a very satisfying day. Thank you to all the staff. We drove there, and there were a few landslides along the way, but we escaped without any danger. The two-way mountain road is wide enough, but you need to be careful of falling rocks. If you are traveling, be sure to contact the hotel in advance and pay attention to good weather.

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

It was a really nice place with a beautiful view. The owner is very helpful and friendly. He picked us up by car and arranged a taxi for us. The food was good and the rooms were very comfortable. We highly recommend this place!

The name ”Qichi Mansu” (栖迟漫宿) sounds quite pleasant, like slowing down the pace of life. Staying here isn't as formal as staying in a hotel; it feels more like staying at a friend's house. The sofas are soft and cozy, and there are interesting little trinkets in the corners, making it feel welcoming. From the balcony, you can see thousands of acres of terraced fields. You can wake up to birdsong in the morning and enjoy the breeze on the balcony in the evening—much more interesting than staring at your phone. There's no need to rush; you can sleep in as long as you want. Breakfast is local rice noodles, which I found quite delicious. The owner will smile and ask where you want to go today. Staying here isn't about luxury, but about comfort and ease, like pressing the pause button on life, resting enough to continue moving forward.

I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view outside the restaurant upon arrival—a breathtaking panorama of undulating golden rice terraces! Sitting in a rocking chair, sipping tea and enjoying the view was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. After a tiring drive, lying down on the bed instantly soothed me, and my sleep quality improved dramatically. The owner's bamboo rice was packed with ingredients, and the free-range chicken, unlike the factory-farmed chickens you find elsewhere, was incredibly fresh. Afterwards, we had a fantastic time singing karaoke in the living room. Both the facilities and amenities were excellent! ♡(*´∀｀*) ♡😍 The facilities included fitness equipment, and the rooms overlooking the rice terraces had bathtubs with disposable bath liners and mosquito repellent. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, patiently recommending sightseeing routes and even offering to help with luggage. The entire experience was fantastic!

The guesthouse lobby offers a direct view of the rice terraces. In the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the ground-floor lobby, gazing at the illuminated terraces. It's truly a delightful experience. The owner is a fantastic cook, and his meals are incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the bamboo chicken, which is a favorite for both adults and children!

The boss is so kind! Enthusiasm and kindness! , Because I took my wheelchair with my dad, I went to Longji facing the ramp and immediately went in a circle. After contacting the boss, he helped with luggage and the wheelchair. I am very grateful to the boss, Brother Liao, for his help. Another objective compliment is that Liqing’s location is better. The room has an invincible terraced field view, which allows people to get a glimpse of the terraced fields from the moment they enter the room, watching the clouds and mist, and the relative price is really super cost-effective! share! During the summer vacation, I took my baby to drink and love to live in a homestay, no doubt! Haha! There is also a rice field fish catch experience, perfect! A few friends took the baby together, and they had a great time. Everyone discussed it and asked the little brother to pick us up. The journey was smooth and a very hilarious road. If you are familiar with the road conditions, there is still no problem, but the novice should not drive. It is better to sit in the car of the little brother. All the way to the homestay safety first, the parking lot charges are reasonable, 30 yuan a night. The restaurant at the homestay is very atmospheric and loved!
