Longsheng Hotels with Bars

If you get the chance to visit Longji/Longsheng to hike through the amazing rice paddies, then you absolutely must stay at Li'An Lodge. The rooms are lovely, clean and quaint, and a cultural alternative to the more modern options in the larger cities. The lodge is run by Aaron who goes above and beyond to help visitors, give local recs, and speaks perfect English. He will also help you avoid any tourist traps.  Li'An lodge is also built on the highest point so you have a fabulous view, and is situated right at the starting point of the main hike in local area. The rooms give you a great view of the rice paddies and the village.  The food is simple and great, or you can eat around the town, which is very atmospheric. We came in the low season end of March, which was misty but fab and we had most of the places to ourselves.  Really can't recommend enough. If you get to Guilinxi (station) they will send a driver to get you. You can also book directly with the hotel over email with Aaron which is easy and efficient. 

I rarely comment, because I am busy, but this time I am really surprised. First of all, the enthusiasm and real service awareness of the boss and the proprietress. Generally, even if a five-star hotel does not have such a service awareness, it will really make you feel at home. Feeling, I believe everyone will have this experience. Secondly, the location of the hotel here is excellent. You can see all the terraces outside directly on the bed. This landscape is really amazing. The third is the food here. I am full of praise. The proprietress also sent us her own wine and barbecue. Then during the meal, I will keep paying attention to whether our dishes are cold and then take them to help heat up, etc., it is really a super five-star service. The boss also sent us to the observation deck for free. In short, there is such a super five-star service under such an absolute advantage. I recommend it from the heart. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from guiding us on how to get there to assisting with booking our bus tickets. They were always friendly and very supportive. The food was also excellent. We tried several local dishes and everything we had was truly delicious. Our room had a beautiful view, and everything was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Longji Rice Terraces. Thank you to the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable.

Nestled in the mountains, the hotel boasts excellent air quality and panoramic mountain views, perfect for relaxation. I tried out all the chairs in the common area, reading, drinking tea, and simply daydreaming. The surrounding area isn't a tourist destination, so an afternoon stroll along the mountain paths offered a charmingly rustic experience, with swaying reeds, wildflowers, wild berries, free-range chickens, and a watchdog... The rooms were tastefully furnished, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was clean and delicious; the fried rice with chili sauce was especially tasty. The chef's skills were excellent. The next morning, we visited the home of a local Yao ethnic minority family. The elderly couple were very welcoming, chatting around a fire and even experiencing spinning on a stone mill.

From the moment we arrived, Jason and his wife took incredible care of us. They picked up our luggage right at the foot of the hill and had it carried up to our rooms while we headed off to explore Ping'An village — such a thoughtful touch that let us start our visit unburdened and worry-free. The views from both the lobby and our rooms were nothing short of incredible — the kind of scenery that feels genuinely healing for the soul. We found ourselves just sitting and taking it in more than once. Jason's hospitality went above and beyond throughout our stay. When my friend developed blisters after a long day of walking, they went through their entire ice supply just to help her ice her foot and get some relief. That kind of generosity and care is rare to find. The decor throughout the property is completely unique — wood carvings and old doors that Jason salvaged and collected from old homes give the lobby and guest rooms so much character and history. It's clear this place was built with real passion and personal touch. We also loved the food at the hotel restaurant, especially the traditional 竹筒饭 (bamboo rice) — simply delicious, along with everything else we tried. Jason and his wife have created something truly special here. Can't recommend Baike enough — an unforgettable stay in every way.

The hotel owner was very kind and welcoming, and the auntie was very friendly and hospitable. The fried noodles she made were delicious; I ate them twice during my one-night stay. The mountain view was beautiful, but unfortunately it was cloudy and I didn't see the sunrise. I'd love to go again sometime.

Overall, I thought it was pretty good. There was a steep section of road at the beginning, which is probably the price of its excellent location – the views were fantastic, perfect for photography. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, so we didn't see much of the sunrise or sunset. This isn't the Dazhai viewing platform area, so it felt less bustling, making it suitable for groups of friends. The food at the guesthouse was also quite good; they even provided breakfast for us since we got up late – thumbs up!

The experience exceeded expectations, the boss upgraded the duplex, the children especially like it, and always said that it was the best room I have ever stayed in. The room was very clean, especially the sanitary ware was the same as the brand new, there was no water stains and scale, and almost no sanitary corners were seen. The homestay itself is also very beautiful, very close to the Golden Buddhading Observation Deck, you can easily see the sunrise. The terraces in October are so beautiful, this experience is really great!

The boss is so kind! Enthusiasm and kindness! , Because I took my wheelchair with my dad, I went to Longji facing the ramp and immediately went in a circle. After contacting the boss, he helped with luggage and the wheelchair. I am very grateful to the boss, Brother Liao, for his help. Another objective compliment is that Liqing’s location is better. The room has an invincible terraced field view, which allows people to get a glimpse of the terraced fields from the moment they enter the room, watching the clouds and mist, and the relative price is really super cost-effective! share! The guesthouse lobby offers a direct view of the rice terraces. In the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the ground-floor lobby, gazing at the illuminated terraces. It's truly a delightful experience. The owner is a fantastic cook, and his meals are incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the bamboo chicken, which is a favorite for both adults and children!
