Guest UserWe had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Collective in Okinawa. The property is still very new and exceptionally clean throughout, making it a highly comfortable place to relax.
Key Highlights of Our Stay:
Great Perks for Families: They provide a dedicated kids' room that is completely free of charge. While it is not very big, it is still a nice bonus for families traveling with smaller children.
Excellent Outdoor Jacuzzi: The outdoor pool complex features a fantastic hot tub with a jacuzzi function. The water temperature is kept very hot, which felt amazing on a breezy, cool day of about 18–20 degrees Celsius.
Outstanding Breakfast Buffet: Future guests do not need to spend extra money hunting for authentic Okinawan food outside! The hotel's Vision & Emotion morning buffet serves an incredible spread where you can taste all traditional Okinawan dishes alongside Western and standard Japanese favorites.
Pro-Tip for Future Guests: I highly recommend adding a little extra money to your booking package to include the breakfast buffet up front. It is absolutely worth it and saves you the hassle of searching for food in the morning!

Anonymous UserThis hotel is ideally located just off Kokusai-dori, offering a quiet escape while still being within walking distance of the Yui Rail station and bus stops, which is very convenient. The facilities are great, and the service is prompt and responsive, making it an excellent choice for a trip.

The environment, location, and design are all pretty good. The only downside is that the pillows in the room aren't very comfortable. There's a shopping mall, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so it's quite convenient. It's also not too far from the train station; you can get there directly by taking the overhead bridge. The large public bath requires going nude, which I couldn't bring myself to do, so I didn't go.

Guest UserThe staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here.

Extremely clean and tidy. The room is very large and spacious for Japan. The surroundings are incredibly convenient, with Lawson, 7-Eleven, and other convenience stores right downstairs. It's also very close to day tour meeting points and Kokusai-dori, and about a 16-minute walk to the pier (for glass-bottom boats/whale watching tours). Highly recommended.

Stay there for 3 nights. It’s a great option to stay in Naha, Okinawa. First, is the location, it’s only 3 minutes walk from Asahibashi station, 5 minutes walk to Bus terminal, and 20 minutes by train(metro) from airport. The second is the place itself. The room was exactly the same as advertise. It was clean, pretty fresh. The room had a microwave, a kettle, a fridge, and a washer/drier unit (plus laundry detergent). More like a mini studio, then a hotel room. Also, there is no everyday cleaning (maybe for additional fee). Only one of the staff spoke English, but they all try to do their best to communicate. Majority of information already translated to English. But for some items, for example, ac unit, washer/ driver, I used Google Translater (wasn’t convenient, but possible). The internet was good too, even stream Netflix without problem.

Guest UserLocation: About a 10-15 minute walk from Kokusai Street.
Cleanliness: If you request room cleaning, only basic cleaning is done. Trash is not removed unless it's in a trash can or bag.
Service: Good. Drinks are available in the lobby, and there's luggage storage on the second floor.
Facilities: Not bad. However, the room is small. It's inconvenient to move around with luggage.
Nearby Amenities: There's a convenience store and restaurants right next door. Behind the hotel, there seem to be quite a few entertainment venues and bars, with a lot of touting.
Cons: Every evening, biker gangs ride around. I stayed for 4 days and saw them every day. There are many touts, probably because of the numerous entertainment venues nearby.

Anonymous UserChecked in at night, the view was great. The room was spacious and clean. It's about a 15-minute walk from the port. They have self check-in, but no Chinese-speaking staff. Breakfast was available, but we didn't book it.

This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property.
The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront, not casually mentioned on arrival.
Breakfast was decent enough, with an adequate selection, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating. Guests had to register in advance for a roughly 45-minute timeslot, and during our visit we were asked to provide a QR code. It felt overly complicated and poorly managed when they could simply have checked our room number and names instead.
The only real positive was the reception staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our requests. Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures.
Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised.

Very nice place for backpackers. I was able to meet many new people. They have some kind of a deal with a local diving company, so when at the hostel you can book diving or snorkeling and get some percent off the price👍🏼
