We had booked a suite and a room and wanted to have a bed for the baby, guess in which accommodation we found the small bed? In the double room, of course, despite the huge surface available in the suite; this is not invented. We had booked a night to be stayed and fed after 500 km of motorway. The guardian actively welcomed this evening then told us that the rest was closed and there were different hostels nearby. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. This hotel complex is in fact a spatial campus in the neobauhaus architecture of 2018: the spatial rooms with the dominant grey, white and brown are very well equipped but the minibar is absent and mineral water will be bored. In sum, the hotel was empty and the Kochwerk restaurant also, because there was no enough clients mentioned elsewhere during the booking but on the notice you receive at the hostel. Price performance is OK and the rooms are more than sufficient since I am sown in the room. Personal & Service very good and the former smoke is almost disappeared - except in a neighborhood of the cellar, but already significantly reduced. In the room and restaurant as well as the river is no more perceptible. Eating and breakfast are excellent - please come back.

Had an aasy online checkin and was able to charge my EV in the carpark in the basement. Enjoyed the very nice breakfast, that just had everything you could wish - we left the hotel H4 with a full tank!

Es war okay, aber ein paar Dinge gefielen mir nicht so. 1. Die Tür im Hotelzimmer bleibt immer ein Spalt offen, sodass man ein Stuhl davor stellen muss.(nicht nur bei mir) 2. 2 Junge Zimmerdamen sind wohl nicht gewillt Guten Tag zu sagen. 3. Das Treppenhaus TH10 ist nicht so sinnvoll. Im 2. OG klemmt die Tür, sodass im Brandfall das Treppenhaus mit Rauch gefüllt werden kann und im EG angekommen sieht es aus wie auf einer Baustelle. Lampen kaputt, Löscher in der Wand und sehr Verschmutzt (siehe Bilder) 4. TV ist auch nicht wirklich nutzbar. Die Paar Sender die man überhaupt hat sind größtenteils mit schlechten Empfang und unklarem Bild zu genießen. 5. Schon wenn man von der Straße in das Hotel geht ,stolpert man über die Läufer. 6. Essen ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht der Hit. 7. Beleuchtung im Seminarraum ging nur Halb. 8. Wlan Empfang ist echt schlecht. 9. Eine Seite des Bettes hat statt einer Steckdose einen Schalter für den Deckenventilator. Das ist ärgerlich. 10. Spült einer sein WC hört man das deutlich. 11. Teppich im Zimmer hat Flecken 12. Es gibt keine Minibar und keinen Tresor, das ist nicht so gut da es keine Automaten oä gibt. 13. Bei den Parkgebühr muss man unltog selbst in Vorkasse gehen weil man es dort nicht schafft sie gleich auf die Firma zu Buchen. Anich ist es okay. Es sind eben nur diese Kleinigkeiten die das Erlebniss etwas mindern.

The hotel facilities are very good, free parking is provided, and free public transport cards are also provided. I was pleasantly surprised. Google Maps couldn’t find the bus route. The front desk told me the bus route carefully and patiently wrote it down for me. It’s great! Hotel Wi-Fi is free and the signal is good. Very satisfied stay!

The hotel is in the middle of Kassel (Köningsplatz) and 10 minutes walk to the Documenta fifteen centre ruruHaus , Fridericianum museum and Documenta halle. Trams and busses nearby to all places. Friendly personal. The breakfast room was large and the breakfast buffet was very well a good start for exploring Kassel with all sort of bread, serials, fruit, drinks, coffee and sprudel wasser. My room was in the new part of the hotel. It had everything one can expect and – as an elderly person – i liked to have a shower. So that I do not have to climb into a bath to take a shower. I liked it also very much that I could dim the lights in the room and bathroom. And also that I could open the doors to the French balcony to let the fresh air in. Diner tip Go to ”al fiume”, italian restaurant at the Fulda. Excellent Italian food.

I stayed in one of the suites on June 5th through 7th. Sadly the room was not ready by the time of arrival, not at 3pm and only around 4 pm did I gain access. After a long day on the road that is not what one was hoping for and the silly excuses or the complementary drink did not help one bit. The hotel is a wonderfully restored old Burg with interesting art and furniture which makes for an eclectic, but winning mix. There is an impressive looking old style restaurant, an attraktive center bar with neat sitting and an open fire place and a spacious outdoor terrace. Some parking is in front of the door. The suite was carefully restored leaving many of the beautiful original elements with touches of the new. However when entering there was sweltering heat and a strong smell of sewage permeating through all the rooms. The first flaw, no air conditioning. If the heat is unbearable on a June day what about the middle of the summer? That puzzled me. The smell originated probably from the free standing bathtub trap which, rarely used, most likely did not seal properly. The sink in the bathroom although stylish was impractical as there literally was no space to put anything needed down. One had to spread out the toiletries all over the bathroom. Very inconvenient. Other than that shower and furnishings were of good quality and gave the suite a nice appearance. The bedroom was in style and bed and mattress were conducive to a good night sleep (thankfully the heat dissipated with an open window but in exchange allowed for street noise). The complementary breakfast was generous and offered many choices. The staff in general proved competent and pleasant. Over all this could have been a wonderful experience if the a/c, smell and room readyness would be improved
