I recently stayed at Tuscan Beach and had a mixed experience during my stay. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several areas that fell short of expectations. The weather during my stay was great, adding to the overall enjoyment of the trip. The animation team did an excellent job of keeping guests entertained with their energetic and engaging activities. I also found the pool boys to be very helpful, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing poolside experience. The hotel had a decent selection of shops, making it convenient to find essentials or souvenirs. I also appreciated the prompt resolution of the problem with the safe in my room by the hotel staff. The presence of a hotel medical team was reassuring, offering peace of mind in case of any health concerns. When it came to dining, there was plenty of selection of food to choose from, catering to various preferences and dietary needs. However, there were a few areas that left a negative impression. On two days, the hotel ran out of alcohol, which was disappointing. Additionally, the cocktail selection seemed inconsistent, leaving it up to luck as to which cocktail you would be given. The lack of sufficient staff at the bars resulted in longer waiting times to get served. Some of the restaurant staff displayed rudeness and a lack of enthusiasm, making it evident that they did not want to be there. Furthermore, I noticed several managers standing around and observing rather than actively assisting guests, which was a letdown. Another issue I encountered was the frequent lack of toilet paper in the restrooms, which was inconvenient and should have been addressed promptly. Unfortunately, the most alarming incident occurred when my son tripped over a chair and fell through a window. This led to a hospital trip and stitches. It was concerning that the glass was not toughened and that no accident report or investigation was conducted by the hotel. Not a safe environment for children!
