Iit’sJPMe and my partner had an amazing stay with Mandarin Island Hotel. Everything stood out. Shortly after arriving at the property, we were greeted by warm and lovely employees. Welcomed like a family. They’re very attentive to evrything that you need. Complimentary Asian and Western breakfast buffet was the best. Also, the property is located to almost everything. From local restaurants, bars and especially it’s a beach front hotel. Would love to stay here again in the future.

AAmazing CathThank you La Bella Casa de Boracay. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler I love the location of the hotel. It’s 2 minutes from the beach. There’s also a church near it. I also felt safe during my trip. The location is quiet. It’s near Grotto, Coco Mama, and a few minutes walk to Sunny Side Cafe. They even upgraded my budget room for FREE into the one with own bathroom. I highly recommend it if you want a nice and affordable place to stay in Station 1 Boracay.☺️😍

YYaLenkaWe decided to go for a holiday on Boracay Island for a week. We have been looking for a suitable accommodation option for a long time. And when we found this wonderful hotel, we were very happy. The price includes transfer from/to the airport. A friendly, smiling, wonderful young man met us at Caticlan airport, took our luggage, carried it into a comfortable minivan, and took us to the speed boat. Then we sailed by boat to the next pier, from which we were again taken by minivan directly to the hotel. The hotel is small, one-floor, there is no swimming pool or other interesting entertainment on site, BUT the hotel is a subsidiary hotel of the Coast Hotel, which has everything your heart desires: two swimming pools, an entertainment room with table hockey, a library, a Play Station, a small number of sports equipment. You can enjoy all these benefits on a par with the visitors of this hotel. This hotel is located directly on the coastline and very close to the Blue Marina Hotel. We took breakfast, which turned out to be not a bad option at all. Every day you choose your breakfast from the menu the night before. In the morning you go out to the hotel lobby, they set the table for you and you enjoy it in a relaxed atmosphere. Once we were sent to the Coast hotel for breakfast, we were amazed by the variety of dishes: cheeses, sausages, egg dishes, various fruits, vegetables, yogurt, pastries, main courses. Delicious. At Blue Marina you can only choose one dish. The lobby itself will also have three options for pastries, oatmeal, milk, juice, but no more. They could at least add some more fruit, it would be much better. The hotel room is good, with a large soft bed. Upon arrival, they left us small compliments: Coca-Cola, mango, bananas, a small bottle of rum, sweets, two beach bags, two hand sprays, two pairs of beach slippers. There are a huge number of different cafes near the hotel, so we didn’t go hungry. The beach is 3-5 minutes walk, which is also very cool. The only one huge minus is good audibility, a very loud sound from a nearby cafe, but somewhere at 11-12 at night it closes and there is no more music. But the neighbors can make noise all night, and you can hear it very well. I don’t know how it is in other hotels with this issue, but when we were choosing a hotel, we saw many reviews of hotels telling you that you could hear everything literally to the point of sneezing. Maybe these are the peculiarities of building construction, I am not keen on this matter. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and would recommend staying at this hotel if your budget is small and you want a hotel close to the beach, with food and good service. This is definitely a worthy option, especially because of the transfer. Thank you very much for the excellent service, for the warm meeting at the airport, for seeing off early in the morning, for the organized breakfast before leaving early for the airport at the end of our vacation. We really liked everything, if we come to Boracay Island again, it will be the Blue Marina or Coast Hotel.

LLawrenceLivinginBaguioThe Worst Hotel Experience I Have Ever Had I have stayed in countless hotels and resorts around the world, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Our company booked six rooms for a team-building trip. Since our staff were arriving at different times, we registered five different employee names so each person could check in when they arrived. However, when we arrived at the resort, the staff said that all six rooms were somehow registered under the first name from Room 1, and they refused to let anyone check in unless that specific person arrived first. This made absolutely no sense. The person who paid for the booking was present, and we clearly showed the Trip.com app, the official voucher, and the names of all employees staying in the rooms. Despite all of this, the staff repeatedly said check-in was impossible. What makes this even worse is that there was absolutely no notice anywhere saying that the first guest must arrive before anyone else can check in. Instead of helping us solve the problem, the staff simply told us to wait in the lobby indefinitely with no solution. I have lived in the Philippines for many years and have stayed many times at resorts in Bohol and Boracay, including several Henann Resorts. I have also traveled to many countries. However, I have never experienced such rigid, unhelpful, and unprofessional service. To make matters worse, no manager came out to assist us, even after we asked multiple times. For a resort that claims to offer quality hospitality, this level of service is completely unacceptable and honestly below even a one-star standard. This experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I would strongly recommend future guests double-check their booking policies before staying here.

GGuest UserMövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay, along with Shangri-La and Crimson, boasts an exclusive white sand beach. The main advantage is the peace and quiet, allowing guests to fully unwind and enjoy a truly relaxing 'lie-flat' vacation. The downside is its somewhat remote location. While you can book the hotel's shuttle service for transport, the frequency is limited. **Area:** Not particularly large, centered around the pool, with the beach accessible directly from the pool area. **Rooms:** Considering the room quality and size, they don't quite justify the price. They're comparable to blue-ocean hotels but significantly more expensive, and the overall hotel area is smaller, making it poor value for money. Its main selling point is undoubtedly the private beach. Near the Crimson area, there are reefs where you can try snorkeling. There are fish, though nothing large, and I even saw a moray eel – a nice little activity you can enjoy without having to go out on a boat. There are private small boats for rent at 300 pesos, which are great for a ride, and watching the sunset from the sea is absolutely stunning; the ocean here is incredibly beautiful. In the afternoon, there are often some dance activities on the beach that you can join, and from 3-4 PM, the restaurant offers afternoon tea, perfect for re-energizing before continuing your water activities.

MmariascapesWe stayed in Boracay for 8 days, and Paradise Garden Resort was the third hotel we checked into during the trip. Surprisingly, among all the hotels we stayed at, Paradise Garden was one of the more affordable ones yet it ended up giving us one of the best overall experiences. We’re currently staying at Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay, which has a higher rate and supposedly more premium services, but honestly, Paradise Garden stood out so much more because of how consistent and exceptional their service was. From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt smooth and welcoming. The lobby had plenty of seating for guests checking in and out, which was a huge relief especially after being out in the heat. Check-in was hassle-free, and we were even allowed to check in earlier than the standard 2 PM time. Someone also personally assisted us to our room which makes sense because the property itself is huge. At first, I thought we wouldn’t even use the pools because, well, you’re already in Boracay. But surprisingly, we still enjoyed them a lot. The pools were clean, well-maintained, and not a hassle to use at all. The resort itself definitely shows its age, and you can tell it has been operating for a long time, but despite that, the service remained exceptional. The staff were consistently courteous and accommodating. I also loved that they had a beachfront area exclusively for Paradise Garden guests. We were able to borrow beach towels for free, and the seating area in front was actually really nice. There were also thoughtful extras like live band performances, massage services by the beach, and even a pool area with a functioning open bar not just something “for display,” but something guests could genuinely enjoy. The room itself was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I’m very particular about beds and sheets when staying at hotels, and I honestly slept so well there. Our experience was so good that I genuinely wished we had stayed there for three days instead of just one night. Even checking out was seamless. No issues, no stress just consistently good service from start to finish. That’s probably the best way I can describe Paradise Garden: consistent. Out of the four hotels we stayed at during this Boracay trip, Paradise Garden is honestly the one I would choose to return to. For me, it’s such an underrated hidden gem in Boracay.

AAnonymous UserI am generally pleased and satisfied with my stay at Nigi Nigi Too. The staff and cleaners are friendly and attentive. When booking at this hotel, here are a few things to keep in consider: - The standard room doesn’t have a refrigerator. Instead, there’s a large refrigerator available for everyone to use on the first floor. - Free drinking water is also available on the second floor for everyone to use. - The hotel only provides mugs inside the room, so it’s a good idea to bring your own water container or thumbler. - There’s no cabinet to store your clothes, but there’s a designated area where you can lay them out. - Hangers are included in the room. - I was provided with two bath towels. - You can always request to clean your room during the makeup room hours. - There’s no elevator, so if you’re staying on the third floor, you’ll have to take the stairs. The room is well-equipped with a functional air conditioning system, a TV, a lampshade with a small table and two chairs, and a clean, unclogged bathroom. The bathroom also features a working water heater, a bidet, and a lavatory with complimentary dental kits. Additionally, they provide body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. The WIFI works perfecty fine too. You can always request a beach towel daily. However, slippers are not provided during my stay. The breakfast is excellent. As a solo traveler, I booked a room that accommodates two people, but I was still able to receive two breakfast meals per day. My room is located on the third floor, at the very end of the building in the resort. I highly recommend booking a room on the second floor. You’ll be conveniently close to the water dispenser and the first floor. Additionally, it’s just a minute’s walk to the beautiful white beach. There’s a bar at the hotel entrance, so it might get quite noisy at night. The walkway to the end building is beautiful; it’s like walking through a garden. The rates at trip.com is cheaper rather than booking direct at the hotel. Overall I am happy with my stay will sure keep this hotel in mind when i plan to go back to Boracay. Thank you Nigi Nigi Too.

AAnonymous UserReally nice place for families. They have a lot of amenities and activities plus a private access beach in the keyhole/newcoast area. We got upgraded from a Superior to Premier room for free but it’s probably because some of the areas are closed for maintenance (night safari, gastropub, kudetah district) but still with that there’s still a lot of stuff to do inside the resort. Breakfast buffet was okay, nothing notable, a little slow on the refill, and has fewer options. Shuttle is 24 hrs and normally arrives in 10-15 mins but for some reason when we’re checking out it took atleast 40 mins before we were able to get one out of the resort even when we already have a gate pass ready and almost missed our flight. With that exception, it’s still a pretty good experience.

GGuest UserAfter checking in we have informed front desk about the air condition not working. Took couple of hours to fix the problem. We request compensation due to air conditioning not working on the day of arrival and overnight on the next day. But they only offered us room transfer which would have been inconvenient with us since we have a lot to things to pack especially while traveling with two kids. With this weather air conditioning is essential for our kids comfort. We weren't able to sleep due to this problem.

GGuest UserExcellent beachfront location with very friendly and responsive staff. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the location and service more than make up for it. There's no currency exchange at the front desk, and a 1000 peso deposit is required at check-in. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. There's a cafe and bar in the hotel courtyard offering various breakfast options and easy snacks. The hotel also provides sun loungers and beach towels. Highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️. I also strongly suggest having lunch or dinner at the Villa Caemilla hotel restaurant (just 30-50 meters from this hotel, towards the port). The service and cuisine there are among the best in Boracay, and it's only slightly more expensive than other places.
