Beijing Original Yuesu Courtyard

The owner of the store is warm and thoughtful, and cooks a nutritious and delicious breakfast. The courtyard house is clean and hygienic, and the decoration is also very fashionable. The price is also reasonable. It is also very convenient to take a walk around or take a bus to go shopping. Highly recommend this homestay to everyone.
Houhaiyuan Hotel (Beijing Gongwangfu Nanluoguxiang Branch)

Houhai Area
We have had a very great experience by staying at HouHaiYuan Hotel with the following reasons: 1. Great location - this hotel is located at 前井胡同,which is a very quiet and serene location. However, it is just a 5 minute walking distance to one of the moat popular tourist attractions - 烟袋斜街,and it is also walking distance to 南锣鼓巷 (about 15 min) and to 恭王府 (about 10 min). It is a walking distance to train station 2. Cleanliness & housekeepong - the room is very clean and every items in the room are free for use, including the beer and drinks in the mini bar 3. Service - the service of the hoteliers are superb! They are very helpful and they were trying their best to assist us in many areas, including helping us in arranging transportation and also our food order as we were unable to do it ourselves due to we are not having a phone line in china.
Wang's Shadow Puppy Culture Theme Hotel

Houhai Area
I absolutely loved the Shadow Puppetry aspect of this hotel. They do performances every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8pm. Even though I don't speak Chinese, I really enjoyed the performances and the demonstrations of the history and logistics of the puppets. I also got to paint my own puppets after the show (for an extra fee), which I loved. Really friendly staff and beautiful décor. It would have been nice to have some more natural light in my room and the walk back to the hotel was pretty dark at night and away from the main street, which I would have preferred to avoid as a solo female traveller. However, all of this was made clear when booking the hotel, so they set clear expectations and made it a memorable and comfortable stay. Would recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect. The hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail were also highly commendable. We left an AirTag at the hotel. The staff went looking for it several times. They finally found it and offered to ship it to me for free. I am so grateful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It truly deserves five stars for its top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic location. I can't wait to visit again!

The Qomolangma Hotel

Houhai Area
It's a very good hotel in the busy city. It's hygienic and clean, making you feel comfortable. The decoration style is very unique and Tibetan style. More importantly, it's very quiet. The service staff is very friendly. Although the breakfast is not very cheap, it has a wide range of varieties. The transportation is also very convenient. It's close to Shichahai and Drum Tower. It's very close to Yandai Xiejie. Anyway, I will choose this restaurant next time I come.
