Weiming Courtyard Hotel (Beijing Nanxun Ancient Alley Houhai Branch)
4.7/5467 Reviews
Houhai Area
The courtyard is full of ancient style. Although the dim lighting is not used to it, it has a warm atmosphere and a beautiful courtyard. What's more special is that free vintage clothes are provided for residents to enjoy taking photos. Each room also comes with fruits. The breakfast is well-organized and balanced, and you can add more if you're not full. What's even more touching is that when I checked out, my brother took me to the subway station on an electric bike. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Beijing!

This is the first time for our family to stay in a courtyard-style hotel in a Beijing hutong. It was a very good experience. Most of the residents are foreigners. The rooms are clean and tidy. The service provided by Xiao Zhang at the front desk is excellent. It is not far to walk to the subway. We used business cars and taxis several times, and there was no problem entering and exiting the hutong!
Beijing Gulou Atour Hotel

Houhai Area
The hotel is very quiet and cozy in the alley. It is close to the attractions Nanluoguxiang, Drum Tower, Shichahai, and Lama Temple. The lobby is bright and the decoration style is particularly exquisite. The hotel has a large yard, free parking, gym and self-service laundry room. The room was clean and comfortable, and the coffee cup in the room was disposable and very safe. What I recommend most is that the TV is very good, the TV projection effect is good, and the TV definition is high. The hotel has a small robot, the robot will send it to the door of the room and call to inform you to get it. The delivery is also very fast, very cute robot. Next time I come to Beijing, I will stay at the Atour Hotel!
the Orchid Hotel

A very cozy and comfortable stay at the Orchid. Although checkout was late in the afternoon (3pm, to be exact), the staff allowed me to leave my luggage in the lobby while I went out with friends. It was very easy to communicate with them, which was convenient during my busy time in Beijing. Once I checked in, the room was comfortable with plenty of amenities. The shower didn't have a door, which left some light splashes on the bathroom floor, but a single towel cleaned it up just fine. I All in all, I would consider staying again. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient.

Environment: The location is very convenient, very close to the subway station. It only takes 5 minutes to walk from Exit F of Gulou Street. It’s very suitable for a night tour. We walked to the Bell and Drum Tower in the evening. Although the weather was relatively cold, it felt like we were deep in Beijing, which was great! Facilities: The room is very clean. There is a small skylight after entering, which can be used for ventilation. The bed is also large. Service: I would like to highlight the service. The housekeepers are very serious and responsible. For example, we stayed for several days. The housekeeper specially emphasized that he would only enter our room if necessary and would not disturb us normally. He also gave us a great travel guide, including helping me review my own arrangements, recommending nearby food, etc. The little episode was that I prayed for a kind-hearted neighbor living next door. One night at around 11 o'clock in the evening, a child came next door, screaming like crazy and the sound of the TV series was turned up loudly. Thanks to the housekeeper, he helped to remind him that it was late at night.
Qinfu Hotel(Beijing Nanluoguxiang Houhai)

I think the hotel staff are super amazing and very friendly. I reached from huangshan at 3 pm and previous guests were still 10 mins away from checking out from Panaromic balcony room type I booked. So they quickly upgraded me to a better room and offered me another upgrade to a ground floor room with a yard and very cool traditional Chinese bedroom (an expensive one compared to my booking). Location wise 7-12 mins walking from four subway stations. Breakfast ain't swerved so that's why gave 3/5 for Food. Anyway, Good food options like Mr. Shi dumplings, Coast coffee and bar, Courthouse coffee and bar and many other old Winehouses and hutong restaurants are 10 mins walking radius and many other options nearby. Walk the old alleys and hutongs and find your way. Hotel is super clean. They even helped contact many tour operators as per my needs and requirements, and helped me book a trip to simatai and gubei water town. Communication with staff in china is difficult but hotel reception kid with little English speaking and reading capabilities was super sweet to help my stay make a wonderful one. Thanks to Lue in photos for being super patient and welcoming us cheerfully at Qinfu, Beijing.
