Best Hotels in Bellinzona

The hotel is opposite the train station, so it is very convenient to travel, the room is clean. Although the size is not very large, it is comfortable to live with air conditioning, we go to the summer, it is a bit comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is strong and the temperature of the warm water is well controlled. If you want to buy things at the train station, there is Coop, which is open 6-22 a.m. It's easy to walk to find food. Overall, I really like the location here.

L‘hotel si trova a poca distanza dall’uscita autostradale e dispone di un parcheggio gratuito. Molto interessante la possibilità di ricaricare auto elettriche gratuitamente con posti dedicati. Il check-in automatico è un po‘ laborioso e consente di generare un QRcode con il quale si accede alla stanza e si attiva l‘ascensore. Non sempre tuttavia il sistema funziona al primo colpo e la cosa infastidisce un po’. Colazione abbondante e per tutti i gusti. Prezzo ottimo considerando la zona.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Unione. The Hotel is right in the centre of Bellinzona 5-10 minutes from the railway station and right next to one of the castles. The Hotel itself was very nice. Pretty sure it had been recently renovated as the room was very clean and well decorated. Not massive, but plenty of space. It was equipped with a Safe, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The air conditioning was excellent. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did have breakfast. Not a massive choice but plenty to choose from and it all tasted good. The staff were very nice. I arrived well before check in time and it was no problem to leave my bag until later. Overall, very happy and consider it was quite good value.

We spent a great weekend there with our adult children. The service was excellent in all respects, the rooms are modern, well equipped and very clean. I would particularly like to mention the excellent restaurant and the kitchen. We had an unforgettable evening there. We felt very comfortable and look forward to coming back soon.

Driving from Hanover to Milan, resting in Switzerland for one night, the hotel is quite satisfactory, with free coffee and croissants and fruit. With the room card, you can get a 20% discount in the restaurant next to it. It is a very good choice to rest here.

Hotel La Tureta is an excellent hotel. Room very comfortable with a very cosy bed. Bathroom was big enough for us. Everything perfectly clean. Good variety of products at breakfast. It's located a few minutes south of central Bellenzona, we quickly became very familiar with the #$1 and #3 busses. Staff was helpful and knowledgable. One thing we particularly liked was that we had advised the hotel that we appreciate gluten free options at breakfast; when we checked in the front desk person acknowledged our need for gluten free breakfast and indicated where the GF items are on the breakfast table. Well done! Would surely stay here again.

Unfortunately due to weather conditions I couldn't make it to the hotel, so I can't really rate it from experience. But the fact that no refunds are available for that booking left a bad feeling, as this hotel isn't cheap and they should might consider changing their policy
