Title: Convenient Location but Lackluster Amenities - Tumike Hotel Bentong Review Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently stayed at Tumike Hotel Bentong and overall, my experience was rather underwhelming. While the hotel's location was indeed convenient, with Regent Court Restaurant and several other eateries within walking distance, there were several drawbacks that dampened my stay. Firstly, I booked the triple room, but I was disappointed to find that I could only request one pillow. This was quite inconvenient, as multiple pillows are often necessary for a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, the absence of a fridge in the room was a major drawback. It meant that I couldn't buy perishable items like tofu or keep beverages chilled, limiting my options for snacking or enjoying cold drinks. One of the most significant downsides was the steep price for a night's stay. At RM200 per night, I expected more from a budget hotel. Considering the hotel's one-star rating, the cost seemed excessive for the amenities and overall experience provided. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to Regent Court Restaurant, TF Value, Steamboat Restaurant, Musang King Dessert, and Family Mart was undoubtedly a convenience. These nearby establishments made it easy to access various dining options and satisfy any immediate needs. However, when considering the overall experience, I would have expected a budget hotel like Tumike to offer more competitive pricing and improved amenities. The lack of additional pillows and a fridge limited the comfort and convenience of my stay. Therefore, I would recommend exploring other accommodation options in the area before settling for Tumike Hotel Bentong.

Not sure what the neg reviews are on about but my experience was really good! Room was super spacious with kitchenette, living area and even a service balcony with washing machine! Local eateries like satay and lok lok is just down the road. Will definitely come back again (:

It's a great destination for a short trip, but be sure to secure the balcony and windows to prevent monkeys from entering to search for food. Unfortunately, our snacks were stolen by monkeys because we only closed the balcony without locking it, allowing the monkeys to push the door open and access our room.

1st time being in this hotel for a night to celebrate our anniversary; checking in was fast and great stay. However we are abit disappointed that the hotel didn’t met our request to decorate the room with balloons and flowers for our anniversary celebration as the counter said it was over budget or no budget. I shared with them I stayed before in Shangrila; Mandarin Oriental even Westin or worse scenario Eastin hotel in Petaling Jaya they will do the set up of deco with flowers and bottle of wine with cake for my anniversary. However the hotel was a let down in this context of customer service. Overall, ambience and room was cozy, great weather and great hospitality of awesome breakfast buffet with gym and pool usage. However the poolside was a let down as there isn’t any control or security to monitor the dress code of people using the pool; what I mean by that is that the hotel still allow people to wear track suit and t-shirt with not even swim wear for men to enter the pool. It was very disappointing to see that the management allow People to wear T-shirt and track suit pants to enter the pool, is not the question of the attire, it is about the hygiene of this people in thinking about themselves then of others who wanted to use the pool. Giving others an impression that the pool is very unhygienic to use as seeing this low morale people whom just wear T-shirt and track suit pants to enter the pool. We love: - atv ride which is fun and full of adrenaline. The itinerary brings you onto steep hill and also muddy area. Best when it rained the night before.... - the field where there is the zip line, trampoline, football and two goal posts, the kids pool and adult pool. Well at least there are activities to do - morning walk just outside of the hotel in the surrounding area - breakfast. Not many choices but enough. The nasi lemak is tasty, it has toasted bread with kaya and butter, some kuihs, it is enough for us - staffs are all friendly and helpful To improve - the water pressure at the shower is too low - some area the plants look like not taken care or groomed A good hotel to stay at Janda Baik.

Good, read the review before check in and everything went in smoothly. Maybe no ppl stay lift quite fast. Stayed at the duplex. Huge balcony and living room. Will stay again.

This place is considered clean. Just the WiFi internet is not strong. The bed is nice, air conditioning is working great. It's quiet at night away from the town area and still has many shops and restaurants. It's really convenient

The hotel looked new and the room was clean. The problems were the connecting room was not sound proof and the toilet has no lock. Can hear the next door guests watching TV and talking in normal volume. The plus things are the facilities like swimming pool, kids playground and common areas are well kept. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing and the confectionery like croissant and pan au chocolat are very delicious. However, the queue to enter the restaurant for breakfast was very long between 8.30-9.00am Suggest the restaurant to add more seatings to save guest's time. The ala carte dishes for dinner were ok. The lasagne was not delicious. The char kue tiao and chicken burger were much better. The vietnamese noodle was too gingery, not so nice. For the price, room, facilities and breakfast, it is very worth it. Most likely will come back again.

The resort looks neat and beautiful where is surrounded by vegetation. When the first time we drive to this resort, we were scared of where is quite an outskirt location. But not too bad is not that deep into drive-in is just about 5 min from that small little town. In fact, is a really convenient location which near to those shops from the little town They take the SOP seriously where they did maintain the social distancing, scan our My Sejahtera apps, and provide us the hand sanitizer. We were greeted by the guard who are very friendly and dedicated. The room in GRV was the great one, very huge like a suite room with wide space, beautiful view and the shower heater was working perfectly with high pressure. The receptionist by the name of Fazila (who work in this property for 3 years plus) who handle our check-in and check-out process was efficient with a courtesy maner and helpful. We will never forget of Fazila's hospitality that she demonstrated. Keep up the good work Fazila and her team.

Absolutely unique ”camp” lofts on stilts equipped with 5 star amenities such as pots/pans, cutleries, microwave, toaster, towels, blankets (thin & vry cold at night) toilet rolls and much more. Tree top chalet is 10m above ground level with spectacular view of the treetops and nearby gushing sound of the river. One can either bring food from home to cook there or order while room booking which caretaker will takeaway frm bentong town. Most importantly, this fantastic place is pet friendly! You are allowed 2 pets, they're strictly not allowed on bed and in pool but can be with you in the room. Also pls be responsible owners and pick up their poo. Meet the local guard dogs (7-8 of them) and their young puppies. This place is very quickly fully booked so best to book 2-3 months in advanced.
