Right in the shopping area and only a few hundred yards from the harbour, we found the hotel comfortable and very good value for money, the staff were very pleasant although they couldn’t speak, much English but this didn’t detract from our stay. Nice room, clean sheets etc ,aircon, outside nice garden where we breakfasted. Parking tricky but not impossible.

On 30 September 2022, I went to Güleç Hotel to check in for my stay of 4 nights in Bodrum. I called the owner a couple of days before arriving, I let him know about my arrival and departure date and he confirmed my reservation orally. I suggested to transfer deposit money but he told me that wasn't needed. On the day of the arrival, I have been informed that they were booked. I called the owner who wasn't there and he told me a group called after me and he gave the room to them. He said, FORTUNATELY, he didn't take my deposit. He also said I could come back two days later. It was a very disrespectful conversation. He didn't say any word of apologies and I started my holidays with the terrible feeling this situation gave me. Then I found a nice peaceful place and tried to forget about it. One month later, I believe that people who read this should know about this event. I stayed 3 times in Hotel Güleç before but now they lost me. I will never stay there again.

Good communication from the owner and a warm welcome on arrival. Clean and spacious room for 4. An oasis of quiet and calm in a busy tourist resort. Close to the castle and good restaurants and bars.

You are not allowed to speak in the green garden so totally useless. Moody staff are warning you even you are speaking low. If you are going to out and come in late it is problem because whole hotel is locked in the night and you have to call owner or staff to unlock the hotel door.

We have been staying at Gulec hotel every time we come to Bodrum, Turkey. This is a real family a**osphere. We know the owner and everyone that works here. It is quite with clean and comfortable rooms. Real Turkish Breakfast every morning is served in the garden and is awesome. It is close to water and the Bazaar and all shopping areas. Everyone is extremely friendly and make you feel at home. The prices are very good with all amenities. We love it.

Hôtel très bien situé, très proche (5mn à pied) du centre ville et de la plage. Rue calme et facilement accessible. Emplacement idéal. Propriétaire très agréable parlant français, anglais et connaissant parfaitement la ville et la région qui permet de vous guider dans vos choix de visite. Jardin très agréable pour la détente et le petit déjeuner. très bon choix sur Bodrum à recommander.

Super séjour dans cet hôtel. On a très bien dormi. Très propre. Très bon petit déjeuner. Super cour pour se reposer ou le petit déjeuner. Personnel aux petits soins. Chats mignons. Le tout pour un prix modique. On y retournera les yeux fermés. Le gérant parle français en plus.
