The hotel was originally a small palace, or perhaps an annex to the Bonn Palace, now the main building of the University of Bonn. Therefore, its interior is quite luxurious, and its location on the Rhine River, near an old fort, offers beautiful scenery. A minor drawback is that there are steps leading from the garage to the reception desk; the elevator doesn't go directly there.

From check-in to check-out, we absolutely loved every moment of our stay.

The ladies at reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when assisting us with arranging our trip to Mt. Pilatus. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to start the day right.

The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of everything, with just a few minutes’ walk to the main attractions. Having a parking lot right next to the hotel was also a huge plus for us.

Excellent service, a fantastic location, and thoughtful little perks. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Switzerland. Highly recommended! ❤️

Very nice room on the 12th floor with a view over Cologne (cathedral, TV tower, etc.). Very clean, large bathroom, very friendly staff, good parking options at and under the hotel.
