Recommended by a travel agent friend, the Divani Palace Acropolis exceeded my expectations. Nestled in the heart of Athens, around the corner from the majestic Acropolis museum, the hotel was a calming presence in a bustling city.
The wonderful staff and grand entrance made us feel excited by our stay. Our rooms were a good size, spotless, and had everything we needed. The hotel also has a lovely rooftop restaurant where one can enjoy the Acropolis in the background. Perfect Athenian charm!

And the most exciting part? Going to the basement of the building. Yes, the basement. They have ancient ruins of the city right there, behind glass, which you can admire. It was the best surprise during our stay.

We were sad to leave but look forward to going back again for another stay in the future!

This hotel is simply fantastic—a perfect blend of class and fun. The rooftop pool is truly one of a kind.

But let’s be honest: great pools and magnificent chandeliers don’t create world-class hospitality. People do.

From Marios and Brian to the rest of the incredible staff, everyone greets you with a genuine smile and makes you feel like a king in his castle. Their professionalism, warmth, and authentic care for every guest are what make this hotel unforgettable.

In a world where AI is becoming part of everything, experiences like this are a reminder that genuine human kindness and exceptional service simply can’t be replaced.

Although the hotel is new, and it shows in the rooms, everything is of high quality. The lobby is beautiful with many sofas, decorative elements, and antiques. I'd especially like to highlight the fantastic pool with large, soft towels and comfortable sun loungers overlooking the Meteora rocks – it was a real lifesaver on a hot day of sightseeing. The hotel is located at the entrance to the village, and you can walk to the town center. I'm glad we chose this hotel. Just be aware that the lowest room category will have a view of a wall; it's better to book a higher category.
