The soundproofing was mediocre, and the room size and cleanliness were just okay. When checking in, a receptionist named Lily told us our room was ready and asked us to wait nearby until she called us. However, all the foreigners who came after us went straight to check-in and got their room cards. After waiting for half an hour, I had to find another front desk staff member to check in. Lily then chimed in, saying, ”I didn't forget, you can see I'm really busy right now” 🙄. The rest of the stay was actually fine, so it seems it wasn't necessarily bad service overall, but rather discrimination from Lily.

A pleasant stay for 2 nights. Reception was very helpful and pleasant. Room was not ready when I check in at 4pm. And they offer me some nice butter cookies . Room was clean. Mattress was comfortable!  When I had problem locking my room door, they send the hotel guy to help me look into the issue. It was coz I did not use enough strength to turn the knob to lock it. Case resolved immediately. While I did not require my room to be disturbed, they offered to change my towels. Nice gestures.
Location definitely excellent, just above the metro station, Marques De Pombal. Very centrally located , near a huge park and near the city!!

I had a wonderful stay at FH Fénix Urban Hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations – the rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed.
The breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of delicious options to choose from, which made each morning even more enjoyable. 
The location is also very convenient, making it easy to explore the city. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon. I would happily stay here again!

The hotel was in a great location very near a Metro station and very central. There were lots of good restaurants near by, which were very reasonable priced. 

The reception staff were lacking and in need of much better training. They are the face of the hotel and if they are not happy smiling and attentive it leaves a very bad impression with customers.  We found them to be very unapproachable and not forthcoming in their assistance. No smile, no cheer, no willingness to assist.
In complete contrast Ruben who looks after the breakfast room was caring, happy, attentive and went out of his way and did whatever necessary to make your breakfast as joyful and perfect as possible. 

The rooms were clean and spacious although we did have an issue with a green flashing light in the room. I called down to reception and they told me how to resolve this. 
In general I would recommend the hotel but management need to resolve reception staff issues for it to be a great hotel.

It was an overall great stay. The room was very clean and had enough space for two people, though there was just a slight lack of drawers for clothes. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the climate control system was excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable, featuring a buffet with various foods suitable for Europeans, more than enough to energize us before exploring. I missed having a gym or a space to exercise, but since we were exhausted at the end of each day, it wasn't a big issue. 
Lastly, the location and transportation options were also convenient, with bus and metro lines just a 12-minute walk away. This hotel nearly reaches a 4-star rating—100% recommended for visiting Porto in 2-3 days.

We booked this hotel which is not close to the city centre to be able to have a pool to relax after a day visiting Porto. Uber was very affordable if you are in a group, if not, there is an easy bus service to reach the city. There are some options for an evening meal+ supermarket in the area but nothing extraordinary. Dinner in the hotel looked good but we didn't have dinner only breakfast which was good. Room was big and nice, common areas were really lovely. Biggest moan/warning/suggestion for improvement would be: the lifts took for ever (15 floors all in all) lots of queues forming. The wet areas could be so much better. The outdoor pool was overcrowded all the time and had very limited loungers that people took/reserved from 9am, so people even had to sit on the floor. With nowhere to put myself, I went to check the indoor pool. A much nicer space but again nowhere to relax, no loungers or chairs.

The room is clean. The bathroom is spotless. The shower drain is a bit slow; therefore the water does accumulate a bit. Breakfast contains scramble eggs, sausages, pancakes, mushrooms, hard broiled eggs, cereals, yogurt, croissants, Portuguese egg tarts, bread, juices, coffee, tea and champagne. Check in was fast.

The location is average, a little far from the city center, and the hotel is a bit old. The room is big, but the equipment is old and the hygiene quality is average. I probably won't choose this hotel again next time.
