The double bed room was a decent size, not small, and fairly clean. However, there was an additional door inside the room, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable and less secure. The front desk said it was a family room and that door could be opened if someone booked the family room – I'm not sure if that's true, and they weren't willing to switch our room. The soundproofing was poor; in the morning, a child was jumping, making noise, and crying non-stop, causing a lot of vibration in our room. Also, when booking, check the check-out time. We stayed in Tokyo for six days in total, and this was the only hotel that required a 10 AM check-out; all other hotels had an 11 AM check-out time. Overall, the value for money was still acceptable.

I used to always stay at Hotel MyStays next door and would often see many foreigners staying at this hotel. So, on this trip to Tokyo, I decided to give it a try. The experience was quite disappointing. The room was tiny, I had to take out my own trash to the hallway, and I had to go to the front desk to exchange bath towels. It was all very inconvenient. The manager, an Indian guy, was friendly though. When I got back to write this review, I couldn't even find any photos – I guess I felt there was nothing worth taking pictures of, so I didn't bother.

The room was definitely small, but for someone like me who was just staying one night before catching a flight the next day, this hotel was perfectly fine. A pleasant surprise was that the front desk staff could speak some Chinese, and there was a small raffle during check-in where I won a bottle of water and some snacks. The big surprise was the free drinks and udon noodles available during a limited time, which meant dinner was taken care of. The only downside was that the bathroom didn't have a bathtub – out of all the Japanese hotels I've stayed at, this was the first time I encountered one without a tub. On the other hand, the hotel is less than a minute's walk from Takaracho Station on the Asakusa Line, which has direct express trains to Haneda Airport, making it incredibly convenient for airport access.

I feel it's a bit overpriced for the price.
Also, when entering the hotel you have to pass through bars and other restaurants, which can be a bit confusing.
There are *********** standing in front of the hotel trying to attract customers, which is really unpleasant. I'm sure this is normal in urban areas, but it makes a big impact.
The location is good as it's close to the station. The front desk staff were a bit cold, which is hard to describe lol

Hotel itself is ok with up to standard service from hotel staff, room size is typical Japanese budget hotel &amp; acceptable based on Japanese hotel standard, have complimentary hot spring with 2 pools and 10 washing space in such standard and room rate is good enough.  Location also ok with only 3 minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station.  The only area not feeling good is the public area walkway, lift from hotel to metro with rubbish that no one to clean for 2 days.

It seems to be frequented by local office workers and casual travelers. The rice balls and breakfast are also authentically Korean. There were at least two staff members who spoke Korean.

However, after checking in, my card wouldn't work, so I had to go back and forth twice. The staff couldn't resolve the issue, so I gave up on Japanese and complained in English, and they finally resolved it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the bedding had a slight odor. The public bath was decent (though still a bit stinky... avoid peak hours).

And at night, the entire street is a nightlife hotspot, with many people in suits and women walking around. Ladies, please use the main road.

This hotel is located at the end of Kokusai Street, just a 1-minute walk from Makishi Station, which is incredibly convenient. The ground floor of the hotel smells wonderful, making for a very pleasant first impression. The check-in counter is on the second floor; you just take the elevator up. The lobby offers free beverages and coffee. While you can't eat in your room, there's a spacious lounge area in front of the counter where you can dine, with plenty of tables. The rooms are single occupancy and generally quiet at night, though some guests tend to close their doors loudly, which can be noticeable. Each room also has a TV, but with volume restrictions, so you won't hear sound bleeding from other rooms. Overall, I would personally stay here again.

The location is absolutely fantastic. It's a great spot for day trips, close to the train station, convenience stores, drugstores, and even the famous A&W BBQ restaurant (Maki-ji Beef), Okinawan cuisine, tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet), steakhouses, and gift shops. The Makishi Public Market is also easily accessible. The staff are all very friendly and provide free water (no need to buy extra). While there's no swimming pool or hot spring, the price is reasonable, and I would definitely stay here again.
